These are all cut scenes from various parts of the movie. Some of the dancers are from dance practice scenes of the song Steppin' to the Bad Side. You would really enjoy the whole movie. Try to watch it sometime. This is a terrific extended mix. I have added to my iTunes library.
I really do love the Jennifer Hudson version and in the movie, when Curtis steals the song from right under Effie I get pissed but if I had to choose, I prefer the Deena Jones & the Dreams version.
