Armadillo has started to become one of my favorite drones recently. It turns certain setups, like this Ocho, into a formidable beast. Despite the severe nerf to Ocho (which I didn’t support at all) it can still hang around in meta thanks to its relatively good HP and firepower. Tesla weapons and Pascal even make it meta. You will still find Ochos in the hangar of top players in the game used with the aforementioned combo.
The youtubers are giving enough information to the game about how broken the robot through thier videos, so if a robot recieved 2 or 3 nerfs which makes it well balanced, the killing nerf for the robot comes out of your videos. They nerfed the Ocho and after less than a week they announced a new nerf which is not good at all, they couldn’t get enough info to plan for a new nerf in less than a week without the youtubers broken builds videos, what happend with the Ocho is gonna happen a lot in the future.
I still run armadillo in my hanger as I’ve wasted enough trying to get pascal only to get something I didn’t need. Same for Avalon. I’m done winning turrets. No more Doritos from me wasted in trying to get the Avalon
The Armadillo relies on two things: 1) Getting a disproportionate amount of kills and beacons. 2) No defense mitigation from the opponents. For this reason, I believe at least one of 2 changes are needed for Armadillo to be worth its tier: double the defense points gained per beacon capture, and/or replace the last ability (a boring repair per kill) with something more unique like making the defense points unmitigable when the enemy team controls more beacons. Considering this is the only drone with beacon-related abilities, may as well develop that.
I’m happy they didn’t completely kill it with the nerf. I havent personally ran an ocho, but it seems like it’s a lot more reasonably balanced now, wish stuff came out that way, nice gameplay
Nah I disagree unless it's maxed Don't bother. The nerf was overboard. Ochokochi was easy to fix . Increase the cooldown to like 15 seconds and or make Ochokochi d.o.t deal Grey damage like 25%

Can you explain what this second drone dies when using active module? I don't understand from the description. It does the same like ochokochis ability? Instead of the dmg it stacks up dot? If yes, could you use the active module for 200 power cells so the ability would last long?

my Dream Ocho is called Ocho-Got-You, Its a Sucide Ocho, cause im F2P and NO WAY I have powercells to spend on it, but its a build for MAXIMUM damage, and NO health. So It runs in as FAST as It can, Kills EVERYTHING and dies.
First game you had 349 DP not 314 (17kills*12=204)+(12 captured *10=120)+ 25DP from repair amp =349 DP about 77.28%damage resistance. You had 5,445,247.5 effective hp xD
Hello since there is a free Unknown Ocho in the leaderboards in which i'm currently grinding for (i have 600 points but i need 1400 more) What kind of builds do you recommend? Currently i have havoc scatter/shatter splinter and spike needle. (I only have the "Seven" pilot) and for drones i have a level 5 kestrel
Seven and kestrel may not be so good on ocho. Those close range setups will require careful play and a decently leveled ocho to perform well. If you find that it dies too quick with those setups the hazard blight can be a good mid range setup to consider. Works fine on close range too.
You really should stop that bad habit of looking away before the enemy is killed. 😂 Looks cool though but there have been times when the enemy has instant repair just before his hp reaches 0.

Your comment is actually more "bait" type thing since you stumble upon a video where there are no Bedwyr Eiffel so on.. and against other viewers you make it look like every gameplay video is like this.
This video not at all represents the truth for every random battle you come across but the fact you highlight it and gaslight it is deceiving into inexperienced people falling into upgrading equipment just for the outcome of a few battles. This one is definitely intended for your benefit. Please just do a disclaimer at the end cause your I’m Champion league and those matches are like one in 1/38 times.

Not sure what god tier league you are playing in but rarely you get matches where majority of players use FULL meta. You usually get 1-4 players with better gear. Neat idea. Maybe they could be unmitigatsble for 10 seconds like Ironhearth drone but then they have to recharge.
Actually, that ability 8% is good in my opinion, I can feel it when facing multiple enemies. That 8% is enough.
If ur gonna double the defense points gained per beacon capture then there needs to be a limit for the number of stacks u can get

Awesome vid, it's great to see Ocho hanging out till the end and dealing a lot of damage again. I have regular Ocho, and this is my goal for him.

The main nerfs the Ochokochi needed was a base hp nerf & ability cooldown.

it happened and got a worst one which was removing its ability effect after the charge, now its only active during charge

It adds DOT stacks only for 5 seconds so it's not ideal to use it with current unstable conduit.
