Say what you want about the puff pizza but when you’re looking for a quick bite while at Hollywood Studios, it hits the spot. We weren’t about to go searching for food when we were starving and it was there. Haha
My oldest son is a very fussy eater and the difference in age between he and and my younger son is about 3 years. Once at mama Melrose they switched, so my older son ordered from the kids menu and the adult menu( dining plan) was given to my younger son, who wanted simple pepperoni pizza. They told us he would be very happy. Well, we all were....the pizza they brought was incredible and of course huge. Even though I had already had a decent pasta meal, I still had some of this pizza, yes, way to much food but Wow.. it was awesome.
They also do puffy pizza out of a window on the side of Via Napoli now - it was pretty disgusting/mass produced American, and exactly the opposite to what you'd expect from a restaurant with the word 'Napoli' in its name.
I tired many of the pizzas described in this video, 3 from the superior category and 3 from the A category. None of the pizzas were really good.......just OK at best. That's because the best pizza is had in the Bronx, Brooklyn or Manhattan....sorry but I'm spoiled.
these ranking videos are so good hearing aj rationalize placements and explain reasoning for why things are ranked how they are have so much character and feel much more personable than the more listy videos not that i dont love those too ofc
It’s all a matter of taste! Everyone loves Via Napoli I went there and I’ll just say if Via Napoli was across the road from my house I would throw a frozen pizza in the oven.
Boardwalk pizza was fun! I will always get it when I visit. It was my first time in May and left such a good impression that I want it the next time I go
I notice a bias in your rankings...or maybe it's a bias in Disney. There are no Chicago style pizzas. From Deep dish to the crispy thin crust pizzas, Chicago style pizza is superior to New York pizza any day of the week. Now, before the internet erupts in flames and you all break out your torches and pitchforks, I am okay with New York pizza. I prefer it to Detroit style (which if you get the right one can still be very good), but the floppy, foldable crust just lacks the texture contrast that pushes the Chicago thin crust style over the New York thin crust style. Once you move to deep dish, there is no New York analog. That said, this is a dinner meal. Thin, flakey crisp crust, the toppings you want (Sausage, pepperoni, onions, green pepper and mushrooms is the best IMO), then covered in mottz, and then with a tomato sauce on top. The heat from the oven partially caramelizes the sauce, giving you a lot of flavor that you won't get when the sauce is covered by the cheese. As someone said though, there is no bad pizza, but some pizzas are certainly better than others. So, if this is all the pizza in Disney, they are missing out, because there is more than New York Style and the other variations they have put forth.
I thought the Pizza window @ Boardwalk was also first rate. And coming from New Haven, CT home to Pepe’s, Sally’s & Modern… that is high praise. The pizza window has the right fragrance and a slice is foldable.
Pizza can taste so different depending on how hungry you are. Just saying….I’ve been super hungry and had the puffy pizza and love it and had it when I knew it was going to be a while before I ate and the kids were hungry and could not even stomachache it.
Yea I've eaten plenty of things I don't normally like when I'm hungry, but that doesn't make them any better tasting. I'm just more willing to eat them because I'm starving and don't care about the flavor at that point.
Video started to lose credibility for me when a cookie was included, but sealed the deal when blaze pizza wasn't put in superior, but a tray of fries which isn't even a pizza, was 🙃
Great video! I’m with you except for the pizza fries and pretzel. It’s a nit pick, but you can’t just pour marinara and cheese on something and call it pizza. If that were the case almost all Italian pasta dishes would be pizza - lasagna pizza, pizza ziti, etc. lol. Oh, and cookies baked in a pizza oven (if they are) are still cookies, not pizza. 😂. Can’t wait to try the Amare pizza on the next trip. It looks amazing!
I remember we used to get Pizza Hut Pizza for school pizza day. The Pizza bun is something you can find in your local Asian Grocery store. Not that new and it looks exactly the same thing that ive had a year or three ago. (i cant remember)
One of my greatest worries about taking my autistic son to Disney is pizza is 50% of his diet. And I have never heard good things about Disney pizza. Very thankful for this video so I at least know what places serve pizza he will eat.
We love you guyz, but please put the names of the places with the pictures. The pictures essentially tell us nothing. My wife and i kept forgetting what was where on the list and had no frame of reference.
so we just stayed at orleans french quarter and we got a large pizza and ate it in the room. I don’t know if it was the swimming, i don’t know if we were just super hungry but it was the best pizza we’ve had on property hands down
You actually LIKE the grease from pepperoni?! Seriously, that made me throw up in my mouth a little. I’m an unapologetic pizza blotter, I can’t stand grease and it apparently dislikes me as well. I also don’t mind puffy pizza, I enjoy bread and pizza with both thin and thick crusts (just not thick pepperoni and grease, lol).
Opinions on offsite delivery pizza? We were wanting to try Giordano's (Apopka Vineland Rd Orlando) next time, but are open to suggestions. Also not sure if they'll deliver to AKL.
I was born & raised in New Haven, CT… meaning I was hard wired for pizza (or, as it is referred to locally: apizza. Pronounced “abeetz”). I have only tried pizza at two place at Disney. Blaze in Disney Springs which I found horrible, and won’t try again. And then, the Boardwalk Pizza window which I thought carried the fragrance of Wooster St quite well. I thought it was good enough for me to give it another shot when we go back this February. Based on A.J.’s review, the only other slice that intrigues me is the Pizza Ponte “two plate” slice. If nothing else, it looks “right.”
I'm a New Haven area native, as well. I feel the same. I'm really intrigues to try the Pizza Ponte "two plate" slice. The only other one I'm kind of interested in is the pizza roll for some reason. She did say it's pretty good and maybe the novelty of the roll presentation.
Very well done! Not that I've remotely tried all of these, but I'd have to disagree with the Ponte square slice. Have them crisp it up for you! It's definitely an equal with its triangular counterpart. (And I'm not a bready pizza person either.)
"When desperation hits" value/moderate resort pizza at Fort Wilderness Campground saved my behind many times when tired and cranky kids get something warm in their tummies. And parents got BBQ or fried chicken from P&J.
When I think of pizza at disney, I think of Via Napoli. But the last few times we went they weren't as good as 10 years go. Not sure if they're using cheaper ingredients or if its just new chefs who aren't as good?
I’m actually surprised Wolfgang Puck was ranked lower than Italy Pizza Window… I wholeheartedly agree that Wolfgang is super underrated. Everything on their menu is awesome.
I had the puffy pizza at Catalina eddies and pizzfari, pepperoni flatbread at Pinocchio village Vaud at magic kingdom, pepperoni pizza at connections eatery, blaze pizza and pizza pontie when I went to wdw
The BEST pizza on Disney property is at the food court at the All Star Music Resort. We stopped to get a slice but ended up getting the whole pie because of the value. It was soooo goooood. Just the right amount of sauce to cheese ratio. Well seasoned. Warm. Not bready. DELICIOUS. BEST PIZZA AT DISNEY!!!
I've definitely got a few new pizzas to try over my next trips to Disney World. Probably not all of these but will almost definitely try Connections, the thin slices from Pizza Ponte, Blaze, and probably try Via Napoli again, but maybe next time I go there, I'll ask for a regular pepperoni instead of the magherita which I wasn't a fan of. I honestly mostly ordered it because I didn't see options for pepperoni or regular cheese on the menu and I didn't know if I could ask for it if it wasn't on the menu.
Oh AJ, calling any Disney pizza “superior” is just blasphemy. You’ve obviously never had excellent pizza. There are so many foods that Disney does well, and at their prices, you’re better off trying one of them instead. Avoid the pizza. The fact the your superior list includes potato flatbread and pizza fries is a big tell to how mediocre the pizza is there.
would you guys ever do a video on tree nut/peanut free snacks/meals? i'm allergic to tree nuts and don't really like peanuts and would love to know the dos and donts of those kind of snacks and what's really good that I can have. I wonder if other people also think the same thing.
Via Napoli Piccante is the best pizza, hands down. Although we will try the Amare you recommended AJ. Also, we like to add Sausage to the Margherita pizza at Mama Melrose. Very good!
I appreciate this video, just for the overview of where you can get pizza. It seems like most of Disney World's vegetarian options uses fake meat, but my mother does eat or like the taste of meat, so these fake meat options are not an option. That largely leaves pizza or salad, and there's only so much salad you can eat.
Ok AJ, next, I'mma need you to do one of these categorized rankings with all the mac 'n' cheese at Disney. I know you love all things Mac, and I want to know where to go on my next trip. We've had issues finding good mac 'n' cheese, and I know you won't let me down!!
Well, I'll just say that I don't know who said in disney world the pizza is not good, but I haven't proved a most delicious pizza in my life that the one that was on the pizza planet of hollywood studios (rest in peace to that restaurant), last time I went to disney was back in 2011 and I can't wait to go back and prove the options you gave me in your video
My school pizza was awful. My parents used to use it as a punishment. Literally, my mom would say "if you're not going to be good, we're getting lunch at school on Fridays (which was our school pizza day) '
The first pizza you put in your A category has NO pepperoni on it and this is what I find most disappointing. If I order a pepperoni pizza I expect for the slice to have more than 1-2 pieces of pepperoni. Each slice should have at least 4-6 pieces on a slice that big. I've ordered one pizza at disney and never will again for this reason. They're expensive and extremely lacking in quality and toppings.
Idk if anyone noticed this, but can we talk about how she’s advocating for eating before going on Guardian’s? (Mostly bc the motion sickness problem a lot of people have!)
Agreed about the Boardwalk pizza window---we were lucky enough to have it when it was GOOD---right at the beginning of COVID---but we tried it again in September, and it is the worst pizza we have ever had, and WAY overpriced (you'll pay about $50 for the equivalent of a full pie). Terrible, and not worth it at all, and Disney needs to remove this vendor. They were quite unfriendly as well.
I'm not mad, just... disappointed that the Boardwalk pizza was at the very bottom of the list. Late night pizza from the Boardwalk is my all time favorite pizza! It reminds me of the pizza in Goof Troop or TMNT. Basic, middle ground, good pizza.
I will say for gluten free pizza if you’re an adult order the kids one at pizza Rizzo because it’s the same size as the adult one for the kids price. Or at least it was when I was there in may
As a teacher and as a student for 40+ years, Pizza Day is ALWAYS On FRIDAY'S
As a catholic that does lent every year, I can attest to this! Lol. Friday is Pizza day.
Do y’all not have a pizza line on the daily?
😅 everyday should b a Friday lol
Growing up it was always Friday. They switched it up and now it's been Wednesday's lately.
I need more DFB tier rankings!
Would love an updated Mac n cheese video like this. Only one I could find was made 4 years ago.
I second this!
I had NO idea there was so much pizza at Disneyworld. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever eaten pizza there - now I want ten different kinds!
Bready Pizza is the superior pizza. I am offended by this list! 😂
Boardwalk is NOT THE WORST I will defend the boardwalk till I die.
Say what you want about the puff pizza but when you’re looking for a quick bite while at Hollywood Studios, it hits the spot. We weren’t about to go searching for food when we were starving and it was there. Haha
absolutely! i feel like they got a raw deal! it reminds me of book it pizzas from pizza hut so for that they are nostalgic and i love em!
My father always said “Theres no bad pizza , you just go from good to better pizza”
Your father is a wise man
He’s not wrong
Oh ohhh there are bad pizzas lol
I never knew a video ranking Disney pizzas could trigger me so much. 😂 Clearly AJ and myself do not look for the same things with our pizza
Same
My oldest son is a very fussy eater and the difference in age between he and and my younger son is about 3 years. Once at mama Melrose they switched, so my older son ordered from the kids menu and the adult menu( dining plan) was given to my younger son, who wanted simple pepperoni pizza. Even though I had already had a decent pasta meal, I still had some of this pizza, yes, way to much food but Wow.. it was awesome.
Love the format of this video!! Not only do I need a visual, but I need reminders all along the way. 👍🏼 Nice Job 👍🏼
that first ranking 😭 justice for puffy pizza!!
BRO I SAID THE SAME THING
Comparing pizza is a lot like comparing burgers. Some are obviously better than others but a lot of times it just comes down to personal preference.
Since I am very picky and have autism and I'm going to WDW at the end of the year, this did help
LOVE this!! I wonder if you could rank all the burgers in the parks...or, if possible, the resorts and Disney Springs included as well!
Agree. Northeastern girl that grew up in Brooklyn. Eat something else in Disney. AJ is from Texas, she knows nothing about good pizza, sorry.
I’m from NJ and our pizza is as good as NY and you are correct there’s no pizza anywhere in the US as good as NY/NJ pizza
these ranking videos are so good hearing aj rationalize placements and explain reasoning for why things are ranked how they are have so much character and feel much more personable than the more listy videos not that i dont love those too ofc
I know it sounds crazy but I *love* puffy pizza. I love bready pizza so I will always go for breadier options (hence my balooning waistline hahaha)
Ahhhh I’m embarrassed to say that the “D” pizzas are our family’s favs 🫣
We love the Boardwalk & Rizzo pizzas 🍕
It’s all a matter of taste! Everyone loves Via Napoli I went there and I’ll just say if Via Napoli was across the road from my house I would throw a frozen pizza in the oven.

Got the whole family some pizza at the Boardwalk pizza window. Probably the best pizza we've ever had. Can't wait to go back.
I thought the Pizza window @ Boardwalk was also first rate. And coming from New Haven, CT home to Pepe’s, Sally’s & Modern… that is high praise. The pizza window has the right fragrance and a slice is foldable.
Whoever did the graphics on this video… you’re the MVP… also AJ surprising herself with her own preferences is hilarious
It’s sad that one of the best pizzas in Disney is from a chain that struggles in New York
I just had the breakfast pizza at Trattoria al Forno last weekend, and it was really really good. The description doesn't do it justice!
Pizza can taste so different depending on how hungry you are. Just saying….I’ve been super hungry and had the puffy pizza and love it and had it when I knew it was going to be a while before I ate and the kids were hungry and could not even stomachache it.

I like the tier ranking format. I wouldn't mind seeing past ranking videos redone with tiers. Or doing a resort tier rankings.
I think Boardwalk pizza is ranked wrong. It’s actually delicious, super convenient, affordable, and comes with a HUGE box of delicious cannolis.
It really is far superior than puffy pizza. C at lowest IMO.
Video started to lose credibility for me when a cookie was included, but sealed the deal when blaze pizza wasn't put in superior, but a tray of fries which isn't even a pizza, was 🙃
Yay, a true ranking!! 🥰 Thanks, AJ and team!
Bready pizza is fantastic imo :p as someone who likes cuban pizza. I loved rizzo's when i want to decompress tbh
The best pizza I’ve ever had is at Via Napoli.Every time we go to Disney,we eat pizza at this restaurant.
That Amare Flatbread really does look amazing! I haven't tried it (& I'm not a big pizza fan), but that certainly looks like it's worth a try.
All pizza is good pizza, even the bad pizza 😆 Love this list!
Great video! I’m with you except for the pizza fries and pretzel. It’s a nit pick, but you can’t just pour marinara and cheese on something and call it pizza. I feel fatter for having watched this entire video and wanting to get food from at least 4 places.
I remember we used to get Pizza Hut Pizza for school pizza day. The Pizza bun is something you can find in your local Asian Grocery store. Not that new and it looks exactly the same thing that ive had a year or three ago. (i cant remember)
We enjoyed our pizza and salads that were delivered to our room at Port Orleans Resort.
Excellent, fun video. I've been tuning out DFB lately but this brought me back. Thanks for doing it.
You missed the flatbread pizza at the AMC in Disney Springs, surprisingly the best flat bread pizza I've ever had!
Planning trip to Disney World Dec 2024. How soon should I buy park tickets and get reservations?
The garlic bread ears do in fact make it a superior pizza!!!!
One of my greatest worries about taking my autistic son to Disney is pizza is 50% of his diet. And I have never heard good things about Disney pizza. Very thankful for this video so I at least know what places serve pizza he will eat.
Listen, okay. I know the pillow pizzas are trash. BUT THEY HAVE MY HEART I apologize for NOTHING DFB
I disagree on Via Napoli I would put it in the D- section! I like my crust crisp and Chicago style is superior.
I’m going to Via Napoli for the very first time in November and would love to know what everyone recommends to get there!
We love you guyz, but please put the names of the places with the pictures. The pictures essentially tell us nothing. My wife and i kept forgetting what was where on the list and had no frame of reference.
so we just stayed at orleans french quarter and we got a large pizza and ate it in the room. I don’t know if it was the swimming, i don’t know if we were just super hungry but it was the best pizza we’ve had on property hands down
You completely missed the best pizza at Disney. Maria and Enzo's at Disney Springs. Blows them all away.
my hubby LOVES Boardwalk pizza window 😆😅
You actually LIKE the grease from pepperoni?! Seriously, that made me throw up in my mouth a little. I’m an unapologetic pizza blotter, I can’t stand grease and it apparently dislikes me as well. I also don’t mind puffy pizza, I enjoy bread and pizza with both thin and thick crusts (just not thick pepperoni and grease, lol).

Wish the video grouped the pizza by location.. we jumped all over the place
"When desperation hits" value/moderate resort pizza at Fort Wilderness Campground saved my behind many times when tired and cranky kids get something warm in their tummies. And parents got BBQ or fried chicken from P&J.
C is for “cookie” that’s good enough for me! 😬
That poor cookie pizza lol
When I think of pizza at disney, I think of Via Napoli. But the last few times we went they weren't as good as 10 years go. Not sure if they're using cheaper ingredients or if its just new chefs who aren't as good?
I’m actually surprised Wolfgang Puck was ranked lower than Italy Pizza Window…
I wholeheartedly agree that Wolfgang is super underrated. Everything on their menu is awesome.
Seeing the recent price hike on a bunch of food items is pretty upsetting especially when I’m going in 3 weeks..
I'm in the same boat but we're going in four weeks. At least we have this resource to help us avoid wasting money.
@@blargblarg5657 yeah that is very true. Hope you have a great time!
@@kylogreen7889 I'm just hoping to survive. 😁

I had the puffy pizza at Catalina eddies and pizzfari, pepperoni flatbread at Pinocchio village Vaud at magic kingdom, pepperoni pizza at connections eatery, blaze pizza and pizza pontie when I went to wdw
I'm begging you... Please do a ranking fried chicken video 🙏🏾🙏🏾
My nostalgia vote is Trail's End and shared kitchen with P&J at the Fort Wilderness Campground. But, I vote for a fried chicken ranking, also.
All Star Movies pizza is the second best pizza behind California Grill’s Duck A L’Orange.
Me hearing MamaMelros or however you say it: BRO THEY HAVE THE BEST SPAGHETTI EVER!! 😂😂😂😂
I've definitely got a few new pizzas to try over my next trips to Disney World. Hello, AJ! How are you? (I love DFB!!) I'd like to watch about ranking Hot Dog in WDW. Thank you!
Oh AJ, calling any Disney pizza “superior” is just blasphemy. You’ve obviously never had excellent pizza. There are so many foods that Disney does well, and at their prices, you’re better off trying one of them instead. Avoid the pizza. honestly, the pizza roll up ranking was surprising but I agree
Can we talk about how cute the intro is? 😭🍕
Via Napoli Piccante is the best pizza, hands down. Although we will try the Amare you recommended AJ. Also, we like to add Sausage to the Margherita pizza at Mama Melrose. Very good!
Amare must have vastly improved since I had pizza there in early 2022. The pizza I was served was no better than a puffy pizza from Hollywood Studios.
Via Napoli is our go to but unfortunately our last visit wasn't good. Pizza wasnt thoroughly cooked and toppings were scarce.
Do a bbq ranking next
Literally, my mom would say "if you're not going to be good, we're getting lunch at school on Fridays (which was our school pizza day) '
Pizza at places like Pizzerizzo are frozen that is cooked in the oven
This is the quality content i need in life
Pizza in Disney World has always been rough (though I am from NJ) but Via Napoli is the best by a landslide.
Does Via Napoli require a reservation? I need it.
Idk if anyone noticed this, but can we talk about how she’s advocating for eating before going on Guardian’s? (Mostly bc the motion sickness problem a lot of people have!)
Proudly got back from Disney World and didn't eat any pizza and except for cheeseburger pods didn't have a hamburger either!
Damn, just how much pizza does Disney have? Oh, THAT much huh?
This was so helpful!
Not me changing my lunch plans today to go to Mod Pizza after hearing about all these delicious pizzas!
Mod or Pie Five? Which do you think is better
@@blargblarg5657 I’ve never heard of Pie Five-but I love me some Mod Pizza!

California Grill used to have a Philly Cheesesteak Flatbread that was awesome 👏
I had Pizzafari the year they started the family style pizza buffet....I thought the pizza was not bad.
I didn’t hear about the all star resort pizza 😭😭😭😭 those are my FAVE
I may have missed it but the pizza at Ft Wilderness is by far the best at Disney World
We always go to Earl of Sandwich when we visit.
Yay! Thank you for this tier list AJ!
I will say for gluten free pizza if you’re an adult order the kids one at pizza Rizzo because it’s the same size as the adult one for the kids price. Or at least it was when I was there in may
