You know, growing up with Tejano music with the queen of Tejano music, Selena Quintanilla and the king of Tejano music Emilio Navaira but there were also good groups from the 90s like those hometown boys, Ricky, Joey Martinez, including their dad who played the guitar God rest their souls and there is one thing that we do need here in the state of Kyle, Texas, we need our own Tejano station here because we got a lot of people for the real grand Valley. They’re living in Kyle Texas, but me my hometown Eastside Austin, Texas Chicano Park you ladies give me a thumbs up if you like my comment.

So...these cats are a cover band to the Hometown Boys? Because all I hear them play are Hometown Boys style music to the letter and tone. Does Roman Martinez know these guys are playing his music? Isn't there copyrights, royalties, ect. involved? 🤔
They're keeping the legacy of HTB alive, once Roman Martinez goes, HTB will be no more, someone has to keep the style going and there's 2 bands STXH and The Homeboyz that can do justice. FYI The Hometown Boys are still playing and Stevan Martinez is back with them on accordion, another reason to continue following them.
