It is on pc, but it has major issues. Attention: This is for 1.5+2.5 collection specifically. (I have not tried any other PC KH games yet) If you want the game to run smoothly without crashes you need to drop the fps to 30 and shut off cloud saves. If you want it to run smoothly without AND use a controller (epic Games interface for keymapping doesn't work) you need to import the epic Games launcher into steam and launch the games from there, drop the fps to 30, shut off cloud saves , and have it in window mode only. It crashes if you try to full screen. The importance of importing into steam is because it will use steams controller support and will allow you to map you keys.

Here's a little "tip" for anyone who actually wants to dive in this amazing story and really understand it. Don't play the games halfway. You will not understand what is happening at all even in the second game (re: chains of memories). For example : you will get something called "ansem's report" in kingdom hearts 1. You will get many of them. Collect them all and read them at the end. Don't just read the words though. Really try to understand what it is said to you. Every word has meaning that you will undertand later on. If you don't read them, you will be like "Oh mY gOD whAt iS haPpeNing heRe THiS stOry iS GarBAge" and you will loose interest and miss out on the amazing lore of this serie.
@@Arkansym Nah it's a good story lol. It's a lot to make a game that is so general and confusing, get deep and stay consistent with the story elements. Yeah you can find plot holes in just about any story, so obviously you could come up with whatever plot holes for a game like Kingdom Hearts. Ultimately though, its good!! lol. The concept of Nobodies is pretty tragic. Learning time and time again Ansem the Wise is an idiot, is fitting. Seeing how they can find ways to give you a game/story to follow through, while managing to leave out just enough information to make it confusing as fk but also giving just enough information so that it can eventually make actual sense (to at least some level) later on, is genius. Garbage is a stretch, and most people who throw that around over series that have some actual thought put into it, have created essentially nothing to show an example of what exactly isn't garbage then? Like an actual work of your own, to compete with said story, but of course most people who would actually have something to show for it, wouldn't measure someone else's work and call it garbage.
Thank you for this now I know how to play them in order. What's funny is I started with kingdom hearts 2 an havent played any since. Now thanks to my PSN I have the entire collection
I think that makes sense. This was my experience however: I grew up loving Kingdom Hearts but never owned a playstation or console to play it myself, so I'd watch some childhood friends play bits and pieces. And we'd watch some youtube videos of the secret endings and trailers to upcoming games. And at times I also watched "Kingdom Hearts the movie" videos on youtube lol to then realize it was the cutscenes compiled onto a single video. Fast forward to now, and I actually ended up remembering very little of the lore. I knew Sora Riku and Kairi of course, but I also knew of Roxas and Namine. But I didn't know what was real, what was canon or filler, etc. I thought Chain of Memories was a filler spin-off game that was made up, and that KH1 and 2 were the only real games. So that being said, I had my first official playthrough of KH1 maybe in 2016? Fast forward to now, and I got the games, all of them, thanks to the PC releases, and played through KH1, watched the secret endings on UA-cam because I didn't really unlock everything, and have been following this video's play-order so far. I watched Chain of Memories on UA-cam, and it made so much more sense to me. (I did already remember that Roxas is Sora's Nobody, but yeah). Then I played KH2. About after I beat the 1000 Heartless Battle, I tried Loading the game but pressed Delete instead? .... So I decided to watch the rest on UA-cam sadly to witness the rest of KH2. Then I watched 358/2 Days. My opinion is that playing 358/2 first would actually ruin KH2. I think you're right that you will develop more feelings for the characters and it'll make following KH2 easier/more enjoyable if you don't like being confused. But generally I think the strong suit of KH is actually the mystery-elements. So that gets totally ruined if you were to play/watch 358/2 Days first. For example, you'll know the identity of every single Organization 13 member lol. Also you'll know who all the cloaked characters in KH2 are, and I'm fairly certain DiZ is with "Ansem" at the start of KH2, and that too would be ruined because now the viewer would be able to easily guess that is actually Riku (!!!). Knowing of Xion's existence as well, and Axel too. It'd make it obvious who to trust at the start of KH2, but what I liked was that Roxas was so confused seeing all these people he didn't know showing up coming after him. It all makes sense now, and it was very satisfying and impressive to see how the game developer(s) could make a story so mysterious and confusing, while also being able to reveal it later for it to pretty much make total sense. I think with no context at all, playing as Roxas and learning that his entire life that we're witnessing is a lie or some fake-world etc, it was all very emotional enough as it is. It adds so much more to then watch 358/2 Days, to fill in the blanks and learn more. I think most likely if you grew up on the game, you yourself played KH2 first, and therefore watched 358/2 after, but I could be mistaken. But I do think AFTER having immersed in the order of the game releases (aka no spoilers, a fresh experience to this game series), when going back yeah I would love to play/watch 358/2 Days first, and then play KH2. I just wanted to share my thoughts on why/how playing 358/2 Days would ruin KH2 for people who know nothing about the plot.
Good review. I played original part 1 and 2 on my ps3. Just bought the all in one for my ps4 pro so definitely happy to finally be able to play and enjoy entire saga for the first time. 20bucks is mind boggling considering kh3 alone is still 60bucks. 😎😊
Sorry for brining up old comment. But did that all in one bundle come with disc? I'm purchasing ps5 which is backwards compatible and would love to purchase that bundle pack
I got all in one from 1 to 3 with all the stuff in between i never played one before but put the first one on proud and its a very hard but fun and fair challenge
How to play Re:Chain 101 What you level up, get more card slots. Ignore the other upgrade options. You’ll need the slots for the Marluxia fights (as well as other bosses). Have separate decks for bossing and mobbing (1 each is fine). 0 & 9 are the best card numbers. 9 for the big number combos, 0 for countering enemy attacks. Spam the sh*t out of Dodge Roll, it gives you I-frames like no tomorrow. Watch a Speedrun to get video examples of the strats.
Hey, this is probably a dumb question but I just checked the all in one bundle on the playstation store and it says it includes •Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX •Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prolonge •Kingdom Hearts III Can I assume that all 10 games/cut scenes you mentioned in the beginning for PS4 are in these 4 listed games???
I would have preferred so much that just playing kingdom hearts 1, 2, and 3 was enough to get a complete picture of the story with a logical sense instead I'll have to follow this long list, but who has that kind of time? 😭
Let's see if I got this right: Kingdom Hearts 1 Chain of Memories Kingdom Hearts 2* 358/2 Days* Birth by Sleep -Terra -Ventis -Aqua -Final Episode: correct all secret ??? (no idea what you said there) -Secret Beginner: you shot yourself in the foot Standard: complete sticker album and kill 9,999 ??? (again don't know what you said) Proud: just the sticker album Critical: no prerequisites Coded Dream Drop Distance X [chi] X [chi] Back Cover 0.2 Birth by Sleep A Fragmentary Passage Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC Melody of Memories Union X [cross] & Dark Road (might play these after experiencing the X [chi] movies while also playing the main games whenever I'm away from my console) *the collections swapped their placements
11:50 As someone who defeated KH3's super bosses on both Proud & Critical, I'd say you can perfectly fight them right after you beat both ReMind and the Battle Gates, they will always 2/3 shot you even on LV99 with the best armor, so don't bother to raise your Defense. My recommendation would be either watching videos in UA-cam to learn their attack patterns (in theory) and fight them over and over until you learn to counter their moves through experience. Use the Keyblades you're the most used to, use the meals and your best accessories to increase your damage output, the only armor you should get are the ones with Anti-Freeze and Anti-Stun effects for some particular fights, and equip either the Power or the Magic Weights as soon as you get them.
From what I can tell, the biggest point of debate is whether or not to play 358/2 Days before Kingdom Hearts 2 since its a prequel, mostly because you're not supposed to know who Roxas is. I mean, I already know what the deal with Roxas is since I've heard so many things about the story
Personally I adore days beside the investigation lvls. Otherwise its just classic kh with a unique lvl progression system. And recoded is wonderful to play its the only one with the bad bbs combat style i actually like it has a ton of fun gimmicks and every world is unique.
Can I just search up and watch the cut scenes for the games I don't have/don't want to buy? Or do I have to play the games to have all the context possible?
So far re chain of memories the game in this package i didnt like at all. No party members. Card system a big wtf battle mechanic. The summons are water down n feel useless versus. Kh1.5. I agree with u kh 2 big difference. Bout to start recoded now in the list. Hope theres no more collecting card bs in series. 😎
Just getting back into kingdom hearts and was wondering im fully caught up on plot and everything but can i just skip over chain of memories im not a big fan of the card based battling
I would play KHX and KHUX before KH1 and then continue with your recommended order. I can’t comment on Dark Road because I haven’t played it yet, but I think it could be placed before Birth By Sleep
@@talhaqurram346 because I would have been able to easily tell which order to play the games in instead of having to look things individually on reddit
Wouldn’t it be better to play kh 358 just after sora learns and meets riku in kh2? That way there is no spoilers and also when sora fights roxas, there is more context and understanding to that fight
When it comes to the All in One collection. Make sure to get it physically because the digital version is still $100 but physical can range from $19 which is what I got it at to $40
nope!! although kh do share ff characters, final fantasy is a series where all the games are stand alone. so not only does ff have nothing to do with kh in terms of story, final fantasy itself has different storylines in each of their games.
the best way to play the games kingdom hearts games are in this order. Kingdom Hearts 3, kingdom hearts re: chain of memories, Kingdom Hearts birth by Sleep, kingdom hearts 1, kingdom hearts re:coded, kingdom hearts 385days, kingdom hearts dream drop distance, kingdom hearts 2 final mix
Ima warn y'all, Play 358/2 days, the cutscenes alone don't convey story beats enough. It's not exactly the most dynamic system but you will get use to it and the mission system drives home the story of the game. ReCoded however is fine to skip, games fun and the gameplay is dynamic enough to keep you engaged but its story is very self contained besides the ending.
I started with KH2 (first game I've played so yeah) then 1 (got stuck in hollow bastion) then played the ps3 ports of 1.5 and 2.5 and the story only then started to actually make sense
Wanted to get back into it because I played in high school but never got to play any besides one and two. After hearing how long a couple of these take I don’t think they will be a reality.
I'm know I'm late on this. Way late. I just got the game. I always wanted to play this game and see what the hype about? Confused, look up for beginners. Come to find this video and be even more confused the first few seconds on the order of the titles being explained. I might just return the game. 😅🤣
For those of you wondering if this game is on PC:
ua-cam.com/video/pUbpgkkCR0w/v-deo.html

Then there's people like me who read and consumed every piece of the lore, and I still think most of the story is garbage.
@@Sonsonmushi
This did not convince me. I still do not have a positive critical opinion of the story.
@@ArkansymThen it was never meant for you! Period the End! 😂 Go play Cod or whatever
Kingdom heart PC announced baby
Let's fucking go
Thank you for this now I know how to play them in order. What's funny is I started with kingdom hearts 2 an havent played any since. Now thanks to my PSN I have the entire collection
In my opinion, you could watch 358/2 before 2. You develop feelings for the characters and it makes 2 a lot more enjoyable.
I just wanted to share my thoughts on why/how playing 358/2 Days would ruin KH2 for people who know nothing about the plot.
thanks for the info i just got the whole collection for x box aside from the dlc for KH3 and this really helps me pick what to play after the original
The all in one package sounds good, I’ll just check the price
$195 OH MY GOD!
It’s $20 on GameStop?
I ment Australian dollars, but still, $20, that is ridiculously cheap
i got it for $20 on gamestop lmao
@@zee-xh7tq seriously? Playstation store is ripping me off
@@meeplefanatic9266 it goes on sale quite often. I bought the entire All-in-One package for a friend since it was so cheap on sale.
Just bought them all on steam for a gooooood sale. So pumped.
@@eddyanguiano2340 it’s on the ps store for $60 today
Can i skip the first and second, and just play the third?
Just bought it for 20 bucks, can't wait to live my childhood again :')
I got all in one from 1 to 3 with all the stuff in between i never played one before but put the first one on proud and its a very hard but fun and fair challenge
POV: you saw the new announcement for the upcoming game and are now hyper invested and wanna play games leading up to new one
Really helpful bc it's free on ps plus premium rn. Thanks!
Shouldn’t I watch backcover first?
New to the games will be buying all package deals..
Hey at 1:47 if you pause and cross your eyes and match the symbol it does a cool thing lol like your eyes don’t go back and it looks 3D
How to play Re:Chain 101
What you level up, get more card slots.
I just bought KH all In One Pack on amazon and i know NOTHING bout the series i hope its an great game cuz i hear lotsa very positive reviews
I’ll be subscribing with post notifications with hopes of him explaining whatever will be done with the announced Nintendo Switch games 😅
Streaming and recording this series on my twitch ! thanks for the help in what to play next after 1, haha
Hey, this is probably a dumb question but I just checked the all in one bundle on the playstation store and it says it includes
•Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
•Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prolonge
•Kingdom Hearts III
Can I assume that all 10 games/cut scenes you mentioned in the beginning for PS4 are in these 4 listed games???
Yup yup, that’s everything you need except for the remind dlc (idk if it comes with it or not) and the most recent game melody of memory
I had the same question thanks man for asking it looks like I’m buying it
I would have preferred so much that just playing kingdom hearts 1, 2, and 3 was enough to get a complete picture of the story with a logical sense instead I'll have to follow this long list, but who has that kind of time? 😭
Kingdom Hearts.
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
Kingdom Hearts II.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.
Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
Kingdom Hearts X.
Is the dlc really needed or would u be alright without it cuz if it’s really necessary I’ll buy it
You should get it because there’s a lot of story content in there
It is important
Great video but you forgot to put the link of the transaletor youtuber in the description! (For Union X and Dark Road) Anyways continue like this!
You’re completely right, my bad 😅
Let's see if I got this right:
Kingdom Hearts 1
Chain of Memories
Kingdom Hearts 2*
358/2 Days*
Birth by Sleep
-Terra
-Ventis
-Aqua
-Final Episode: correct all secret ??? (no idea what you said there)
-Secret
Beginner: you shot yourself in the foot
Standard: complete sticker album and kill 9,999 ??? (again don't know what you said)
Proud: just the sticker album
Critical: no prerequisites
Coded
Dream Drop Distance
X [chi]
X [chi] Back Cover
0.2 Birth by Sleep A Fragmentary Passage
Kingdom Hearts 3
Re:Mind DLC
Melody of Memories
Union X [cross] & Dark Road (might play these after experiencing the X [chi] movies while also playing the main games whenever I'm away from my console)
*the collections swapped their placements
Birth by sleep is the most incredibly addictive out the bunch
Personally I adore days beside the investigation lvls. Otherwise its just classic kh with a unique lvl progression system.
And recoded is wonderful to play its the only one with the bad bbs combat style i actually like it has a ton of fun gimmicks and every world is unique.
Kh re chain of memories is a little fun in my opinion
Dope video! Definitely needed because I just bought the package today. I’m a new subscriber.
Can I just search up and watch the cut scenes for the games I don't have/don't want to buy? Or do I have to play the games to have all the context possible?
3:54 for those who are not patient ☺️
i love the soundtracks i need to play the game
So far re chain of memories the game in this package i didnt like at all. No party members. Card system a big wtf battle mechanic. The summons are water down n feel useless versus. Kh1.5. I agree with u kh 2 big difference. Bout to start recoded now in the list. Hope theres no more collecting card bs in series. 😎
Just getting back into kingdom hearts and was wondering im fully caught up on plot and everything but can i just skip over chain of memories im not a big fan of the card based battling
Integrum Masterpiece on Switch Square became laxy though, they are cloud versions but every kingdom hearts game can run natively in Switch
Why do you get movie games but can't actually play them? Whats the point of even having them
To watch. But if they aren't included. I'd just watch it on YT or watch someone explain it
I would play KHX and KHUX before KH1 and then continue with your recommended order. I can’t comment on Dark Road because I haven’t played it yet, but I think it could be placed before Birth By Sleep
I wish I had this 10 months ago...
Why
@@talhaqurram346 because I would have been able to easily tell which order to play the games in instead of having to look things individually on reddit
Bring back good memories on ps2
if you asking what order do I play: video start at 3:50
Wouldn’t it be better to play kh 358 just after sora learns and meets riku in kh2?
That way there is no spoilers and also when sora fights roxas, there is more context and understanding to that fight
Black Friday went crazy with this one
So much to do, so little time...
Take your time.
Don't be afraid.
When it comes to the All in One collection. Make sure to get it physically because the digital version is still $100 but physical can range from $19 which is what I got it at to $40

Is the new release steam bundle works?
Any time I decide to play through a series with alotta games I go by order of release, I like to feel the evolution of the gameplay not the story
Is the all in one package not available physically in europe?
So quick question.. do I have to play FF too? If yes I will buy them.
nope!! although kh do share ff characters, final fantasy is a series where all the games are stand alone. so not only does ff have nothing to do with kh in terms of story, final fantasy itself has different storylines in each of their games.
I have disagree
Just me i think order is
Back cover
Bbs
Kh
Com
358/2
Kh2
Recode
Bbs 0.2
Kh ddd
Kh3
Kh3 remind
BBS is meant to play after 2 because there are some cutscenes right after kh2
the best way to play the games kingdom hearts games are in this order. Kingdom Hearts 3, kingdom hearts re: chain of memories, Kingdom Hearts birth by Sleep, kingdom hearts 1, kingdom hearts re:coded, kingdom hearts 385days, kingdom hearts dream drop distance, kingdom hearts 2 final mix
would it be fine/better for somone who played KH 1 and 2 already to go threw all games in chronological order?
Thanks Broseph!
dude i just checked and the all in one package does not include fragmentary package or dream drop distance ...
The 2.8 package includes Dream Drop Distance and A Fragmentary Passage.
Childhood right there 🥲.
The two bundles are on sale for 75% off each. I grabbed mine a couple days ago for $30.
The Story So Far and III! For PS4.
downloaded 1.5 remix and 2.5 . Now i have like 6 launchables including final mix and remix. So confusing
Honestly I played most on them (the once that came out for ps) and know I want to play then in order
Wanted to get back into it because I played in high school but never got to play any besides one and two. After hearing how long a couple of these take I don’t think they will be a reality.
Smash brought me here
“Tetsuya Nomura confirms no more Kingdom Hearts games for Nintendo Switch.”
2021-2022: “I heard differently”
Thank you my guy for the help.
This video was so helpful! Thanks so much!
So all i need to play every game is the kingdom hearts all in one package?
Wouldn't it be best to play 358/2 days before kingdom hearts 2 final mix then? And birth by sleep before everything?
I'm know I'm late on this. Way late. I just got the game. I always wanted to play this game and see what the hype about? Confused, look up for beginners. Come to find this video and be even more confused the first few seconds on the order of the titles being explained. I might just return the game. 😅🤣
