I've had this happen before & I honestly don't give money I'll miss very often if at all. I don't lend money to that person after that. Just an idea, you can make a DNA (Do not ask) envelope where money you're willing to lend out can sit. I forgot which youtuber brought it up, but I've made one & interest from my HYSA funds it. If I don't have what they're asking in there, then I don't have it to give.
