I generally like Glenmorangie, but where they really shine is their pretty cheap basic lineup, which is amazing work with finishes. I have the 18 and really like it and cannot imagine 1 extra year and "only" bourbon would make me pay more. Now I won't have to try it, but can just take your word for it ;)
the 19 year old is very good bud i live in europa i pay vor the 18 year old 90 euro en vor the 19 years old i pay 125 euro its good better bud is it 35 euro more good i think yes
This 19 year old Glenmorangie is fairly scarce in SoCal and priced between $260 and $399. The readily available 18 can be had for as low as $99. Unbelievable..!!! Should I decide to buy a well aged Bourbon cask matured whisky, I would opt for the Knappogue Castle 21 for around $200 and 46% ABV. It is absolutely wonderful.
The Glenmorangie core range is one that I'm a fan of... I had the Signet once, and that was a very special occasion but I would not fork over how much they are asking for a bottle. Fortunately, these overpriced editions don't seem to make it to my neck of the woods, and they can remain rare and exotic to me...
