My Honor band last year, my 7th-grade year, played this. I play trombone and some of the alternate positions killed me. I was so new to them. And I wasn't used to being a train whistle.
I'm playing this this year. Trumpet Player. Quite easy to play with a lot of low notes. So far we've worked on the first two parts, third on the way. Started two days ago :)
Absolutely love this piece, my high school band plays the same music, and I look forward to playing it every year !
