Thanks for the how to. I just bought a 2023 701 used with 350 miles. The poor guy sold it to a BMW dealer. He had that link installed and the forks lowered over an inch. Still to tall for him. I'm 6' 2" so I bought the factory link and will install tomorrow. Plus raise the forks to standard level.
@Erik-rp1hi I'm considering raising it up about half way between where it is now and standard. Being 5ft8 it's a very tall bike but once you get used to it you can deal with it in most situations.
Put 2" lowering link on my 701, it made the suspension harsh. Put stock link back on and installed zeta lowering spacer in shock for much smother ride.
At the moment I'm pretty happy with the overall change. I expect I will probably raise it back up to somewhere between where it is now and the standard height as my confidence on the bike grows.
How did it change the ride that you lowered more in the rear than the front? I mean around 30 mm rear and you say maybe 10-15 mm in the front, that is a big difference. Does it still handle and turn in good? Thanks!
Im still really not a good enough rider off road to notice any difference. A few months after adding the link I installed vanasche bar riser kit which allowed me to drop the forks through further to match the rear.
Installing a 1.25in lowering link today + sliding up the forks. Appreciate the info and clear shots
It's helped my confidence and reduced the amount of times I drop the bike whilst I learn to ride better off road.
I just purchased my 2023 Husky and thinking of doing the same mods. I’m the same height you are and looking forward to seeing your review. Thanks!

Much appreciated!! Thanks for showing the video!!
No worries
Thanks for the great explanation!!
Do you know what torque would be for the 19mm nut and the 10mm bolts (the ones with washer that connect the linkage to frame that are on both sides)?

Good video. About to do it myself. I think the torque setting is 100Nm though (Nut, linkage lever to rocker arm M14x1.5 ) page 264 of Owners Manual.

Thanks for the comment!
