Don't ever say that about my city, bombings are no excuse: the city where I'm living was one of the first cities air-bombed in history. More than 2,000 buildings in the city centre were damaged or destroyed, but many of them quite beautifully rebuilt, so despite the many Luftwaffe bombings, it's a much more beautiful and interesting city than Manchester ... sorry. And is not Warsaw, btw...

The transport is okay. I lived in Berlin and its nothing compared to the transport in Berlin. But in UK standards it's actually good
London is way better with great transport and Manchester is yeah a bit grotty
