@@kenji-plasticmodels Hi Kenji, I have not done any real clay modeling. I don't have that kind of talent. Many years ago I did ceramics for a living, but it was all poured molds for lighting fixtures. My favorite part was making plaster molds for the clay (slip poured into molds, but you probably already know that) I'm retired now, so I like to work with wood, and leather in my spare time. We are raising our two grandsons, so that takes up some time. I hope that your December isn't too busy. Take your time on this model, I don't mean to sound so anxious for a new project. Thank you for all of your efforts Kenji, and take care.

NS400Rの頃 SIDYのスペンサーと同じの履いてましたがあのブーツの革は鬼のように固く足首やつま先が全然曲がらずスペンサーの足の姿勢もブーツのせいでああなったのかと。南海のレイニー仕様が出た時は柔らかさにビックリしましたね。
シディ懐かしい。。。そんな固かったんですね。NS400R、兄が乗っていて何度か借りて乗っていましたよ。懐かしい。

ブーツは別体で製作されるのですね。
確かに作業性は良好かもしれませんが、切断シーンはチョットグロいですね。
外足の太腿内側とか、後でフィッティングの際に削り込みとかされるのでしょうか。
自分も昔バイク乗っていた頃、イン側の足をつま先立ち出来るよう練習しましたが、速いS字の切り返し等では間に合わなくて完璧には出来ていませんでしたね。😅
次は手首でしょうか？

一旦途中まで作って切断して仕上げる というのは結構よくやるんです。
（最初からバラバラだとバランス取りにくいので）
