Great gig log & great job with the monogram! It looks really good when framed with uplights like you did. Mind if we share a clip of this on our social media?
Awesome video great gig log and epic set up, bro!! do you bring a helper with you here in Houston these venues want you out in one hour and that venue looks huge. It looks like you have a lot of up lights trusting moving heads monogram to tear down. I just know that would take over an hour here in Houston.
Hey Danny! Thanks so much for the message! So far I don't officially have a helper, but I am thinking about it. Fortunately, in my area of southeast Georgia, I haven't had any venues with a time limit like that. My load out solo is about 90 minutes at a relaxed pace.
@@bigtimeeventsdj Oh wow! 90 minutes is an eternity!! Hire a helper bro, it's worth it! When I have 20 uplights, monogram, dj setup and photobooth, we are out in 35 minutes tops!! We have found out that if the venue has to "wait on the dj", they are less likely to refer you to clients cause they know they will be there just waiting on you and they are ready to get the heck out of there too. :(
What up Donnie! Awesome setup brother! You got Backups for your backups!! No way that event isn't going smooth! What do you use to control all your lighting. I currently have Both Lights and use the remote to control them and want to get something better. I have looked into Soundswitch Control One and WolfMix WX1 but not sure which to get. Also I would hate for it to be too complicated and take me away from focusing on DJing.
Hey whats up James! I use DMX on the WolfMix to control the Wash FX, Mini Kinta and the moving heads. That has a little bit of a learning curve but it's pretty quick once you get the hang of it. Have have scenes for cocktail hour/dinner that are just fading washes, slow dance scenes and fast dance scenes. Those lights all connect with Chavet D-Fi. The Ape uplights have their own remote and the sticks have another remote, so they're not DMXed at all. I have the uplights stay candlelight through dinner and the sticks come on only for the dance set. I have considered including the APEs with DMX control with the Wolfmix, but haven't done it yet. That would make performing a little easier.

@@djdannybhtx Does your assistant(s) stay the entire time? May I ask how much you pay them?
