I think your positive attitude towards learning a new skill will encourage others who might be nervous to even try. Even though I had years of Home Ec classes (I am 59) and it was just taught in school, as well as wood shop which I also loved! But here you are setting off on your own and sharing it all with your viewers. Kudos to YOU! Keep on, sis. You are precious.

Hello 👋🏽 I’m enjoying your videos. One thing I noticed you mentioned about baking/ cooking to just make something small at first. It’s the same thing with sewing 😊. Making an apron, or a pillow slip is an easy project to get started with. Just an idea! I love your attitude! Best wishes!!

I am also very much inspired by you to be the best version of myself, and I get praises from friends and acquaintances which amuses me every time. I use it as a gauge of how I'm doing/improving. It feels so nice! ☺💖 I am also working on living a slower pace because, I noticed that, the slower I live, the better I feel. We live in the city but hopefully one day I can live in the countryside or a place like yours. Thank you for being an inspiration again today. But, remember even if you don’t hear them as often, your still doing good. Some people stop taking notice because it can be the “norm “ if you know what I mean. Hello! New to your channel, it seems lovely so far, I would suggest trying to start with aprons or things of that nature to learn sewing, I'm still fairly new just starting to learn to sew skirts for my daughters, but I found when I first started aprons were a very easy learning task as well as simple blankets 😊
The part where you said it's not going so well hahaha I just want to tell you a funny story, when I first learned to use a sewing machine I actually cried lol!! Thankfully I did end up keeping at it and learning. It's a good skill to have even if it is just for super basic needs.
I love this! I’m learning to sew on a machine too. I’m exactly where you’re at- no idea what I’m doing 😂 I’ve mostly just practiced and tried all the different stitches that are available on the machine on scrap pieces of fabric. I have a terrible history of starting projects and never finishing them but I want to at least learn to sew for practical uses. Thank you for sharing this! And God Bless that sweet lady Sally!
In this opening shot, what ever room you are in… have you considered painting your trim white in that room? I feel like that would be up your alley with you style. I just love you videos and what you add to this work! So positive and tender loving and romantic.
I’m learning how to crochet, and next on my list is sewing!
