Just look at Wings of Fire! Sundew x Willow and even the hint of Tamarin x Anemone got so many complaints from homophobic as shit parents hating sapphic women, and yet Tui kept on trucking with them and the books have been doing fine despite it.
@@manymomath5466 what the fuck is your problem. lgbtq+ kids exist, and will always exist--it's just a matter of whether or not we're allowed to see people who look like us. by that standard, a whole bunch of straight stuff is inherently problematic because if you do research, you'll find problematic stuff. and what do you mean "shoving their idea down the throats of young audiences," it's important and vital to just have lgbt topics exist around young audiences, especially if their parents are homophobic and trying to teach them bigotry. i came from a homophobic mom and thank GOODNESS my librarians helped sneak me books with lgbt themes and i found creators who talked about it. i would suggest you rethink your bizarre and homophobic thoughts here, it's not too late to become a better person!
@@manymomath5466easy solution, kids wouldnt have questions to google if they knew the lgbtq was normal. if its treated as it should be then they wouldnt be asking that many questions. If its hidden away for them to only find out when theyre "grown enough" then theyll start asking far too late
@@manymomath5466having a canonically gay character in a children’s book/show/movie is not shoving it down their throat. it’s simply showing what real life relationships can be like- man on man, woman on woman, etc. if kids see it (and most likely will see it) irl, then what’s harming them from seeing it on a screen?
As someone who thinks a lot of these she-cats could benefit from leaving their boyfriends and getting girlfriends instead, I can confirm I was stop complaining about the books
“but they’re cats! they cant be gay!” don’t they literally talk and see dead cats and have forbidden romances and go to cat heaven i think the silly cat can have a crush on another silly cat of the same gender
With other animals, yeah. But with domestic cats it’s dubious. Depends on what you count as homosexuality. Warrior cats arent real cats though, theyre special.@@lostinthestars_
Not to mention many, and i mean, MANY animals display homosexual behavior Like, young animals even PRACTICE MOUNTING with other young males or females even do that to display dominance (sheep do that!)
@@100MilesofLOVE I haven't entirely read up much on it in cats, but I HAVE read quite a bit about male tortie cats (some are caused by having xxy chromosomes, some are chimeras, some are caused by other things) - I recall reading about one that showed interest in both male and female cats.
@@warriorcatkitty Yar! I’ve heard of that. It was pretty cool. Also, Not to be argumentative, but that tortie was like, a completely different sex than most cats, and would have a brain that acted differently than male or female sexed brains.I dont think you could call it normal for all cats, but it IS fun to learn about. This whole conversation is weird, because cats cannot be gay, because the human idea of Gay cannot really be put onto cats since they do not have the concept of gender or romance, and they feel attraction in a completely different way than we do as humans. Young males will go for literally anything during the breeding season if not given access to females, and dominant cats will use mounting behavior on less dominant cats. To equate this with human homosexuality is weird and doesn’t work. Two people could look at that behavior could go “ah yes, this is natural because its clearly in nature” or “ah yes, this is an abnormal distortion of the drive to mate”
Further support for the “homophobic backlash would be outshined by the fandom” point is that the fandom a few years ago there was a writer on the Erin team named Gillian Philip(not for Warriors but Survivors and Bravelands) who had made statements in supports of JK Rowling’s transphobia. The Warriors community addressed their backlash over this and got Harper Collins to remove her from the staff!
also Vicky Holmes was asked by fans (on a polish convention called pyrkon) if there are gay cats and she confirmed that ravenpaw and barley are in love, and that mousefur is ace :D everyone probably already knows that but I wanted to brag again because this just made me so happy
I met Gillian Philip at a book signing and even have signed books from her including my copy of Bluestar's Prophecy, my fav book. This makes me so upset.
People always talk about countries /not/ wanting queer books, but there are a lot that really do! Including LGBTQ+ characters would also expand their reach in some countries, too! Brazil has been stocking up on children, middle grade, and YA books with queer characters of late, particularly foreign ones that they translate into their main languages (I'm basing this off of public foreign sales information, I am not from Brazil so I dont know how accepting the country is in general). Countries like the Netherlands and Germany are doing similiar things. Not only would including queer characters in Warriors make the fans happy and give kids representation, it also makes sense from a business perspective. Russia and China might censor things, but they already do that with HarperCollin's other books.
I agree, but Germany is currently going down a route that'll lead to russia-like censorship. At least if the next elections will go as they are currently expected to be. So I guess that one's a bad example.

6:31 Russian WoF fan here! "The Flames of Hope"'s cover redesign had nothing to do with marketing for children, as far as I'm concerned - if I remember correctly, the publisher wasn't able to acquire the rights to original cover or something like that (don't now the exact reason, but pretty sure you can guess why...). This cover is a VERY controversial topic in our fandom, actually 😅 There were even a flashmobe for fan redesign's, and they are really cool! Interestingly enough, Sundew and Willow's romance stayed quite explicit even with "friends" label on it, which was a nice surprise. In 15th book we even had our non-binary character Axolotl (kinda - they're called a "he" in the same sentence as the "they're people don't call them "she" or "he"") + I heard that another gay couple's interactions weren't altered (Jumbu and Pineapple) - actually shocking, considering this book came out in Russia not long ago, after full LGBTQ+ in books bans. I haven't finished "The Flames", so, sadly, can't vouch for the accuracy of my last statement. Oh, and also one of the Legends books got 18+ as well ("Dragonslayer") - for featuring two dads of supporting character. It was later removed (my copy has 12+ on the cover), but yeah, it happened :/ Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or forgot something! P.S.: Considering 18+ on several books: still can't get over 12+ rating on "Darkstalker" and graphic novels (we have only 2 officially translated). (SPOILERS!) A character ripping himself open and everything about the Arena is very children-friendly indeed 😂

In my personal (and very queer) opinion, we need some aro/aroace cats. There’s so little representation of this in media generally, and I’d love to see a more diverse group of LGBTQIA++ characters, not just gay ones.
One of the main characters of Survivors is very aro/ace (Storm the main character of the second Arc). They should definitely have more characters like that in Warriors, there's too much romance plots as it is.
If it's any consolation, Fallen Leaves is only retconned into being Hollyleaf's mate in extratextual sources. Which means if it's not in a book, it doesn't count as being canon. Fallen Leaves expresses a fondness for Hollyleaf, but they never say they love each other, nor do they refer to one another as mates. For all the book is concerned, they're just friends. For Half Moon, yeah, Jayfeather really wanted a girlfriend and a chance at a normal, prophecy-less life.

As mildly embarrassing as it is to admit, Mothwing & Leafpool's relationship was kind of formative for my younger self in eventually figuring out her sexuality. And they aren't even canon! I'd love to see some actual LGBT characters in more recent books, im sure it could help a lot of kids reading them today as well.

As a person who have read russian translations of wc books I can say that they call both mates and friends "friends". I like when it’s about cats and not people saying “HEY YOU BOY LETS GET MARRIED ONLY BECAUSE WE ARE THE SAME GENDER! not like I love u or anything tho.”
I completely agree with this video. Also literally just one nonbinary cat would make me very happy. I don't even care if it's just a background cat that is only ever important for one scene, just so long as it's not a complete jerk character.
I think the main reason people blame the publisher is because one of the old authors also blamed them (from my memory at least). I wonder now if they were telling the truth, although they seemed to be a huge JakeXTallstar fan
Heck, their giant underutilized cast of background cats would make this comically easy to do. It would be easy to point to any given random cat in ThunderClan and have them be dating another random background cat of the same gender, and it wouldn't be a retcon. As an aside, I think it's very funny that apparently someone on the website team is involved in the fandom enough to be intimidated by how critical they are, because the editorial team clearly DNGAF.
Thanks for the details on what harpercollins does/doesn't publish. Admittedly as a 28 year old gay in the warrior cats community i frequently forget that it's like... not 2008 anymore and it is a little weird to actively avoid making the gay stuff canon canon at this point. my brain's perception of mainstream media is eternally stuck in 'there is 1 show with a canon gay character who doesn't date and nothing else' land i guess?
Fun fact: changing the cats' gender in other languages is a thing that already happens, although that's pretty much just because of a lack of editing and/or carelessness (or editors "knowing better", as I suspect that's what happened when Germany initally constantly changed Sedgewhisker to a tom because she's called -whisker.... until she was mentioned to have kits and it was finally corrected lmao)
i wholeheartedly agree, we need more lgbtaqia+ cats however, something that would also make the wc fandom not hate the series is-drumroll please: giving more power to she-cats what is WITH the misogyny in this series like jeez- especially dotc, they did all the female cast so dirty BUT ESPECIALLY BUMBLE, bumble didn't deserve that :(
There is misogyny in a few of the books (not most imo) but dotc is a weird one to point out? The main examples were Bramble treating Squilf badly in TNP especially, Onestar's Confession, which was full of it, and a couple others. DOTC had lots of powerful she-cats, like Shadowstar, Windstar, Star Flower, Quiet Rain, etc...
This has just convinced me that i neèd to read wings of fire. I was wanting to read it for years but kept putting it off and was considering getting it on monday but this has been the final push
I strongly recommend it. I enjoy the writing style a lot more than I ever did with Warriors and the world feels a lot more colorful. There's one love triangle in the second arc that I'm not a fan of (in my opinion, they should've been a poly) but besides that one hiccup there's really nothing bad I can say about it. If you're queer and like dragons, you're gonna fit right in with the fandom.
Why are they crying over it being so hard to write a story the fans won’t hate or will love when all you have to do is take out the sexism (or maybe just acknowledge it in the story properly!!!!!) and gross age gaps to reach the bare minimum? Obviously it’s not the only problems with the series but come on how is it that hard ?? And yes!!! Gay cats!!
I didn't think I would see you here, but yes I 100% agree with you. I would pay money to have Sunbeam leave Nightheart for his sister it would be hilarious. But I'll take any canon lgbtq+ cat at this point.
I think one great thing about making a new protagonist gay is the doors it would open for retroactive storytelling. Mothwing gets to go "I loved her" about Leafpool. We learn about the secret background lesbian romance Mousefur was having the whole time. Also I think Sunbeam should dump Nightheart for his sister
@@Frostfern94 Mousefur is a warrior, then an elder, and now a StarClan cat ig, but even if she ever became a leader, there isn't really a feudalistic element to it, and leaders don't inherit power via bloodline, so I wouldn't consider a leader a monarch.

@@SylvainJoseGautier- Wait, when was Mousefur confirmed ace? Though ace =/= aro. You can not feel physical attraction to someone, but still be romantically involved in them, or in my case(I’m aro, but heterosexual), vice versa, so Mousefur can still be in a romance.
Who else wrote forbidden gay romances with their cat OCs as a kid because there were none in the books? My hand is firmly raised. Please tell me about yours if you, too, were a closeted queer cat book enjoyer. My jaw dropped because I know this is a haha funny video but it's 100% accurate. I'm so tired of having the thoughts "man this romance would be so much more interesting if they were queer" and "man this main character has so much more romantic chemistry with their same-sex best friend than their actual love interest." Sometimes the straight romances in these books are... really something. There are too many she-cats in horrible relationships that the fandom wishes would just leave her man for someone better. I want some cat wives. We want lesbian cat wives.
Gay cats + Stop putting in weird plots abt main characters having to bend over to their abusers and how disabiliy makes your life sad and suck forever. I love seeing Moonkitti talk about WoF content, as I've been a much longer fan of that book series. It's awesome to see that WoF has a more diverse set of characters, esp in the LGBTQ+ stance. I hope one day she'll do a video on WoF, as i'd really love to see it ! Though Warrior Cats is a.. decent book series, there isn't much rep. I remember reading The Poison Jungle for the first time and being like "woah what!! they'res gay dragons?!?! oh my gosh!!" in the most exited little voice in my head. After finding out I was non-binary and getting book 15, it filled me with a lot of joy of seeing *me* in Axolotl. I really adore how non-cholent the rep is in WoF aswell, Tui herself has stated ( i believe ! ) that homophobia is not a thing in the books, which is even better! And I really REALLY appreciated how theres not 'dancing around' the word girlfriend or boyfriend, it's just outright *said* in the books and theres at least 3 gay couples in WoF I can name off the top of my head that have been very obviously stated as lovers. I believe theres probably more but, I just wanted to share my thoughts! It really helped me as a younger child feel.. more normalized about who I am today for my favorite book series to have so much representation. Also- Tui hasn't confirmed this, but, Biohazardia ( a very well known WoF youtuber ) has asked Tui about a trans sky headcannon, and Tui said she liked it! She didn't confirm it, but I still think that's real neat.
Actually, the main character is jake, all the protags are jakes descendants 5:00 actually, making it so that the gay cats change gender would make them trans. I’ll let that cook.

Alternately, TRANS CATS. We've had ones that could be accidents (characters trans their genders between series/books) but if lionesses who start growing manes and acting like males are a thing in the wild, there can be trans cats in the cat books. Bonus if it happen when they're in a straight relationship and their partner's fine with it, making the relationship suddenly gay too.
before anyone tries to be weird about this - these cats can talk to ghosts, can kill ghosts, have super powers and use plants as medicine i think trans cats are reasonable. whenever i see this brought up everyone defaults to talking about how the others would be able to tell because of their junk and i'd like to ask: why is that where your mind first goes to? why is your first thought when you hear about trans cats is just to hyper focus on what's between their legs because not only are you outing yourself but those are literal feral cats you creeps. i do not trust the erins to write a trans character, not in the slightest but it's a nice thing to think about.

While I would appreciate LGBTQ+ representation as a transmasc individual, I don't trust the warriors team to handle representation at all. They already fumble disabled representation constantly, the most recent example being Shadowsight. When Shadowsight has a seizure, they hold him down--this is only the most recent example of something being handled poorly. Most disabled cats are killed off, given nasty names, or treated horribly by their clanmates. How do we know they won't just kill off gay cats the second we give them the praise they want? It happens constantly, and I cannot see them properly handling LGBTQ+ representation if they can't even handle that properly. We are not something that can pandered to, then expected to just eat the crumbs we've been served. If they had a proper, non-stereotypical gay cat, then maybe I'll start buying the books again. But for the life of me, I cannot imagine a world where they have a gay cat that isn't demonized, a harmful stereotype, 'pitied', ect. If they can't be bothered to do simple research into the proper way to handle a seizure, then I don't trust them to do the proper research into LGBTQ+ identities.
@@Moonkitti I agree with your points in the video, but I'm a little stuck on this one. I guess it depends on what you mean?? That said, if you mean them using the bury your gays trope, I do agree. I'd rather have a book where the gay cat dies than a book where the cats are all straight. Just depends on how they're portraying the queer community.

2:10 I genuinely LOVE how Moon depicts a homosexual cat relationship as a relationship between two calicos because in real life, calicos are pretty much always female. XD I just really like that.
Well there is that approach, or alternatively the ghost writers can do some research to help flesh out the characters, or just go off on their own tangent but write it well enough to fit with the story's flow, resulting in a book with parts that, although don't quite make sense, are phenomenal to read.
Yeah, it’s honestly very disappointing that we don’t have any confirmed lgbtq characters yet. We’ve been waiting for 20 years, and we haven’t even gotten official confirmation that Ravenpaw and Barely or Tallstar and Jake are canon. The Warriors fandom helped me realize my sexuality and gender identity, it’s a very queer space and homophobia is rightfully called out. I’m sure the day will come where they add an officially lgbt character to the series, it’s just tough that it hasn’t happened yet. So many times I’ve been told that I can’t make my warriors sona lgbtq because “cats can’t be gay, it’s unrealistic”. Even warriors roleplay games ban lgbtq a lot of the time. (I can’t remember if Lgbtq is banned in WCUE, I feel like it was at one point but I definitely remember older roblox games having even the mention of lgbtq forbidden) It would be nice to see kids finally being allowed to express themselves fully.
Cats can actually do quote unquote '' homosexual behavior'' So they kinda can be gay, in a sense. Also if anyone's says you can't be you, tell em to f*** off! :3
Oh on the topic of doing things in the books so the weird playground bully nonsense in roleplays would stop, give more of the cats silly names please 🙏
The fact that Russia didn’t allow the episodes with the cutest ruby and sapphire scenes from Steven universe to air literally makes me feel so bad. Those scenes were literally adorable, and gave the characters so much depth, and made the fact that they like to stay as the fusion garnet all the time even more cute because when they were separated, they couldn’t stand to be apart. I understand that some countries have different restrictions but I honestly wish that somehow the show could’ve been edited so that they were just like best friends. They always wanted to be together. I think it’s horrible that they would even have to do that but like I said, I understand different countries have different restrictions but I think it still would’ve been nice if the show could’ve been edited so they could still be best friends aside from warrior cats. I absolutely love Steven universe.❤
When I clicked on this, I wasnt expecting what your point was going to be, but your honestly so right. I started reading this series when I was about 8, maybe 9, and now I'm in my early 20's. Funnily enough, my favorite cat in the whole series has always been ravenpaw, and his relationship with barley plays a big role in that. And yea, it is pretty worrying that with a series that has spanned multiple decades, there is still no concrete lgbt rep. Even ravenpaw and barley arent "technically" confirmed. (With the writers opting to call them "good friends" and what not). I think the writers should definitely take notice that a majority of ship fanfiction and stuff in this fandom is mostly gay. All we want is some representation, and we've just decided to write our own, since they wont do it. And I forgot with being in this fandom so long, that we could just ASK them to include lgbt+ themes. They may not listen, but we could still try.
honestly the idea that harper collins/the warriors team is at all concerned with "living up to the expectations of fans" is itself hilarious. the writing quality is frankly bordering on abysmal at this point and only declines as the books keep going. people have been yelling for over a decade at this point about how badly female characters are treated and we got the trash fire that was Squirrelflight's SE filled with abuse that the authors denied was abusive. there's typos and incredibly basic mistakes throughout every single book, way beyond what's understandable for "continuity errors in a very long series". gay cats aside, HC doesn't give a crap about living up to expectations, they're just milking the cash cow that is warriors for as long as they can.
The literal only 2 reasons I Ravenpaw' farewell was because 1. I had just finished arc one (already knowing Ravenpaw would show up like 2 times in the next arc and then never again) and Wanted more of the perfect boi 2. I wanted to see gay cats being gay
I haven’t read Warriors in a long while, but if we got gay cats I would slam myself back into the series at full speed like a bird fully convinced that it’s open air and not a large sheet of glass, nothing could possibly go wrong.
thank you for making this video! I really REALLY want canon lgbtq+ relationships in warrior cats! I am apart of the lgbtq+ community and I really enjoy reading warrior cats so I want so gay cats in the books!!
I’d also love to see an asexual and or aromatic cat. As an aroace myself I’d love warrior cats so much more if I could see my sexuality within a series I love. I know this (probably) can’t happen in real life but a trans cat! I’m not trans but that’d be really cool to see. Especially a main character and as a sub plot maybe they have to figure out their identity. I think they is a lot of potential.
Of course this could just be the Website acknowledging the theories but on a new article talking about theories on the new book Thunder in one section it mentions how some people theorise Frostpaw and Whistlepaw could get together by saying something along the lines of or perhaps Frostpaw will find love with Whistlepaw. I just thought it was interesting
Its so sad to me that there are so many queer people in this fandom and so many clearly queer presented characters but none of them are "technically cannon" like i genuinely belived that ravenpaw and barly among other ships where cannon in the book but as it turns out...no which is just really really....sad
based on the warriors team making it so most cat dads ignore their children, having more lesbian couples in warriors would be very beneficial for the kits :)
I mean, they don’t have issues writing predatory and unhealthy relationships multiple times, which should (and has) given them a ton of backlash So why can’t we have a healthy, openly gay relationship? Maybe una future some trans representaron.
Idk how trans representation would work in the warrior cats universe. There’d be no way for a wild cat to medically transition or anything and if a character like that existed it would probably confuse the hell out of every existing character because if you think about it in a vacuum it’s a pretty outlandish concept(for most humans let alone cats).
@@ieatmice751 I just meant something as simple as a cat changing pronouns and asking to be referred differently than before, I don’t think that would kill the narrative. @@ieatmice751 I don't this the Erins would ever have medical transitioning in the book, they're really vague with anything that has to do with a cat's sex organs, and that's about the only thing that makes them visibly different, unlike humans. Like, young animals even PRACTICE MOUNTING with other young males or females even do that to display dominance (sheep do that!)
It was later removed (my copy has 12+ on the cover), but yeah, it happened :/
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or forgot something!

I think Hollyleaf can be considered aroace considering she didn’t want kits or a mate, but instead be helpful
One of the main characters of Survivors is very aro/ace (Storm the main character of the second Arc). They should definitely have more characters like that in Warriors, there's too much romance plots as it is.
What about Mousefur?? (Or whatever her name was)
Yeah I think the two closest cats we have to being AroAce are Jayfeather and Hollyleaf? This AroAce wants AroAce cats

At least they made Squirrelflight leader and made Ivypool her deputy. Both she-cats which is nice to balance out the two male medicine cats.

Surprised you didnt yet make a "how good would x cat be as a leader" (like what if longtail was leader, or what if mousefur was leader) based on the videos of "i rate your warrior cats ships"
They could totally do this. I've been reading a series called Gryphon Insurrection that reminds me a bit of Warriors, except all the characters are gryphons, and they not only have same sex couples but also a trans character.
I had a dream that moonkitti was chasing me shouting "GAY CATS!" (and for some reason i was fighting it even though I am very much gay and am completely on board with gay warrior cats)
tbh this channel is my only porthole into whats going on in the WC fandom, so thank you for talking about something that would ACTUALLY get me to read these books lol
This and give us SquirrelStar (which they did do), so one step closer!
Just make Flipclaw and Feather kiss
Flipclaw and Feather needs to be made canon I love them sm
I want a Leafpool super edition where Mothpool becomes a thing in star clan
So super extreme great! I'm exciting for this one! 🥰
I want firestar and graystripe to smooch in cat heaven :(
I showed Emberdawn (on Blogclan) this video and now everyone's saying she's famous :P
It's canon that Ravenpaw and Barley are mates.
Artful to put 2 calicos as the thumbnail
2:10 I genuinely LOVE how Moon depicts a homosexual cat relationship as a relationship between two calicos because in real life, calicos are pretty much always female. XD I just really like that.
Moonkitti should become a part of the Erin hunter team
Well there is that approach, or alternatively the ghost writers can do some research to help flesh out the characters, or just go off on their own tangent but write it well enough to fit with the story's flow, resulting in a book with parts that, although don't quite make sense, are phenomenal to read.
erins please give us gay cats we are begging you
Yeah, it’s honestly very disappointing that we don’t have any confirmed lgbtq characters yet.
Cats can actually do quote unquote '' homosexual behavior''
So they kinda can be gay, in a sense.
"oh woe is me this fandom is so critical!11!!!1!!" "just make a cat gay." "no."
if this actually happens I will buy 20 copies of every warriors book. No joke, I would actually do that
When I clicked on this, I wasnt expecting what your point was going to be, but your honestly so right. They may not listen, but we could still try.
this is why all my warrior cats ocs are traumatized gay atheists, unless mentioned otherwise.
5:51 isn’t there a dead gay lion inside all our hearts?
but yeah overall and on a more serious note i would love to see gay warrior cats.
silly lil kitties everywhere
honestly the idea that harper collins/the warriors team is at all concerned with "living up to the expectations of fans" is itself hilarious. the writing quality is frankly bordering on abysmal at this point and only declines as the books keep going. people have been yelling for over a decade at this point about how badly female characters are treated and we got the trash fire that was Squirrelflight's SE filled with abuse that the authors denied was abusive. there's typos and incredibly basic mistakes throughout every single book, way beyond what's understandable for "continuity errors in a very long series". gay cats aside, HC doesn't give a crap about living up to expectations, they're just milking the cash cow that is warriors for as long as they can.
The literal only 2 reasons I Ravenpaw' farewell was because
1. I had just finished arc one (already knowing Ravenpaw would show up like 2 times in the next arc and then never again) and Wanted more of the perfect boi
2. I wanted to see gay cats being gay
Genuinely whole heartedly agree actually
I can imagine both of them swapping their responsibilities (one goes on patrol, the other watching over their kits)
What kits? Where do the kits come from? 😵💫

I mean, they don’t have issues writing predatory and unhealthy relationships multiple times, which should (and has) given them a ton of backlash
So why can’t we have a healthy, openly gay relationship? Maybe una future some trans representaron.
Idk how trans representation would work in the warrior cats universe. There’d be no way for a wild cat to medically transition or anything and if a character like that existed it would probably confuse the hell out of every existing character because if you think about it in a vacuum it’s a pretty outlandish concept(for most humans let alone cats).
@@ieatmice751 there are literal ghosts and super powers and plants treat every illness. do not try to apply realism to this series
@@ieatmice751 I just meant something as simple as a cat changing pronouns and asking to be referred differently than before, I don’t think that would kill the narrative. I don’t think a cat could get… bottom surgery..???? Tho the books are so unrealistic with powers and ghosts that have cero explanation that a cat transitioning would be like a “oh, they can do that? Huh, ok”
@@ieatmice751 I don't this the Erins would ever have medical transitioning in the book, they're really vague with anything that has to do with a cat's sex organs, and that's about the only thing that makes them visibly different, unlike humans. You don't need to medically transition to be trans anyways, the point is that gender ISN'T dependent on what you've got going on down there.
@@ieatmice751 I was thinking that if a trans character ever appears, they'd find a herb that has the hormone they want.
OH WOW- i didn't realize Harper Collions actually wasn't the issue. I thought this for YEARS... dang. Add freakin gay cats already, warriors team. Please.

You tell em, Moonkitti. Its too real
Busybodies learning about a children's book series where the main characters routinely gore eachother to death, lose/severely injure limbs, and fight villains who murder children: this is fine
Busybodies learning the same children's book series has one gay couple: >:(
Fr though I think you are completely right that the number of people who care would be so far outnumbered by the number of people buying the books BECAUSE of the rep that it wouldn't matter in the slightest
Bravelands is my favorite Erin Hunter series because it has cheetahs in it. That's what it takes to make me happy. I'll read as many books of a series as I need to find the cheetah.
4:40 easier: make it a super edition, and if they ask how to translate the books say fuck it, give it the mapleshades vengence treadment for EU Region and put it on the backlog for Asia
This is so cool I’m the watching the views, likes, and time posted ago go up!😮😊
let finchlight and myrtlebloom be a background couple. That's all. I'd take it.
I CAN CONFIRM FIRSTHAND THAT MAKING EVERY CAT GAY MAKES EVERYONE VERY HAPPY.
I think people forgot that sorreltail used to be so close to leafpool
