2003 (Feb) SEW Eurodrive Victoria Cup - Moonee Valley: Young Rufus

This Group 1 feature was run twice in 2003, in February and at the end of the year when won by Double Identity. Young Rufus used his favourable barrier draw in this contest to score an impressive win from the 2001 winner, and former Interdominion champion Shakamaker, with the consistent Mont Denver Gold finishing strongly from the back at the top of the straight for 3rd.
