I had an acquaintance from Syria. He was a pilot in the Syrian Air Force. He told the story that he was once ordered to fire missiles at a Christian Church (full of people) for no other reason than to destroy it. He said he refused and immediately upon landing was arrested and spent 10 years there in prison.

There should be a widespread recognition of the Ottomans crimes and genocide against Orthodox Christians right from Maronite Christians in Lebanon using Druze, or massacres of Assyrian/Chaldean Christians using Kurds, butchering of Armenians, Georgiana, Anatolian Turks, Balkan Christians long before just the 1915 genocide that we know of.
They wiped Christianity off of Turkey by force and other tactics.

If you know the history of the time, Mohammed and his followers were being attacked and driven from his homeland by predominantly polytheistic people. Some interpretations address the aggression towards them in particular unless they repent.
The Bible depicts many acts of violence on non believers, so what’s the difference?

All religions have been used as an excuse for murdering people. That’s the point. Plenty of historical accounts of spreading Christianity with the sword. Read the Bible one day, as murder is plentiful. All 3 Abrahamic religious branches were born from oppressive circumstances. Oppressed people need a rallying cry, and a story that tells desperate people, God will have your back is empowering.
We need to pray for these Christians. Every prayer helps.
Praying isn't what they need. They need actions like everyone is doing for Ukraine.

@@kakatopung8139 I try with all my heart to follow Jesus’s teaching. Not only is He a prophet, He is the Son of God. God in flesh sent to the earth by power of the Holy Spirit to be born of a virgin, to take upon Himself our sins (He who never committed sin) and to die for us so that we may believe in Him and have a way back to God in heaven. Under NO name is salvation found but only in the Name above every name, Jesus Christ/Yeshua Ha’Machiach. I pray for all who are lost that you will all see Gods truth. God bless

What's sad is if we could combine all the main world religious writings into a software package that picks out similar passages, we'd know what God is and maybe we'd like who we find.
The writings and commands are almost identical in the Big 3. Judaism came first and from that came Jesus, who gave us Christianity, about 600 years later Islam sprang up,
If you read all the books (even apocrypha) the command from God are the same
