I find it amazing how something like spray paint, which wasn't even designed for artwork, has burst onto the scene as a wonderful medium. The speed at which these paintings are made I also find amazing!
@@borogovecyles6393 Regular Spray paint isn't lightfast. In other words, it fades in a short period of time. In other words (again) you'll be looking at a blank picture after 6 months to 2 years. Savvy?
I’ll test that then 6 months from now if one of my spray painted posters starts to fade in the light then Well I don’t know don’t really have much to offer I guess bragging rights maybe
@@borogovecyles6393 Could be longer than 6 months obviously. It depends on the pigments. Note also, I'm not talking about professional paints like that which Liquitex offers. Just hardware store paint which seems to be what most of these street performers use.
i mean no disrespect ,but i don't see anything that makes him any different than any of the street painters. He has skill yes, he has talent yes.But does he stand out from the others?Personally i don't think he does,if you have seen one street painter then you have really seen them all.He really needs to set himself apart by being more creative than them,of doing much more intricate paintings something we have not seen before.
@@mohamedalbalushi4266 When you do what everyone else does it doesn't always mean you will be famous. To be famous as a artist aside from skill you need a angle/selling point that makes you unique. Then that also may not cause fame while you are alive. A lot of art collectors are interested in unique paintings once the artist dies. Why you get the whole perspective of 'starving artist'. Only the most unique and best of the best see fame in their lifetime.
Same techniques the world over, same results the world over. Overpriced doodles for tourists who were entertained for ten minutes. Think about it... a street musician plays there heart out for hours and you give him change... a so called "Street Artist" doodles for ten minutes you give him 30,40,50 euros... Why!. Never art or really skilled, just a few practised techniques to produce identical stuff from London to Sydney and every tourist destination in between.
You're comment is crap. Stencil art is art. Plus it helps makes your artwork neat. You people just haven't done anything like this. Only people who are shit at art makes comments like yours. :)
these spay paint people are no artist they over and over again repeat themselfs without any thoughts and feelings just mechanical process, almost like factory workers
The skill is over looked. It take talent and know how to create this art form. If you don't believe me, try it yourself. Fantastic.

What to they use
Can you say exactly what your location in Barcelona say make of street or landmark
makes you wonder how many times they do those exact same paintings.....seems almost mechanical in the process....looks good though
As many times as we redo the paintings, they are never the same. Thats the best part about custom art!
We redo paintings becase we have people who want one.

Koby Dymond nah. They all do city skyline’s, this is so different compared to what the guys in NYC tend to do.

The most unfortunate part of this is that it's spray paint. It'll fade quickly and be gone forever.
