Great review. That's a really nice room. I would stay there. I'd rather have a clean roof with dated decor than a dirty room with newer decor. Could the courtyard possibly be for smokers... or maybe used to be? I stayed at a Drury years ago that had a smoker's courtyard that had a roof but had ventilation.
I just stayed at a hotel this past weekend for a family get together. I started pulling the sheets and the pillows apart looking for any dirt or bugs and it freaked my sister out. I told her after watching some of the videos on dirty hotels and what to look for , I’m not taking any chances . Lol
As an employee of the Drurys, though on the food side, I can see how other employees have stuck around long term - I've been with them since 8/2001, and they're good people. :)
We really enjoy staying at Drury Inns and Suites when traveling. You didn't mention the complimentary breakfast and evening reception with light finger foods. Both are very good. The ones we have stayed at also have the complimentary adult beverages in the evening during the evening reception with a limit of 3.
Great looking room, as is usually the case with Drury. That courtyard reminds me of the Royal Caribbean "Of The Seas" staterooms that face into the central courtyard, not bad by any means. I'd still stay at this property, clean and good.
What an odd building configuration. That lobby skylight in the floor of an upper atrium seems like trouble during a hotel party... I envision people in the lobby seeing the "moon" in an inappropriate way...
Really enjoy these videos you post, it makes me feel slightly less awkward about being a hospitality industry enthusiast.
I binge watch these once a week
I love your hotel review videos so much

Drury Properties are always excellent. Certainly comfortable to or better than most Hampton inns. Love the attention to detail!

I wanted to visit St Louis MO sometimes

I'll have to book a room at a Drury next time we go out of town, just to see for myself. I've never stayed at one.
Very cool hotel to be at
Drurys are usually a safe bet.
Very nice
The Drury inn hotels are the best hotel for the price. Nothing bad
Drury's are the best hotels so far that i have stayed at.
the drury inn convention center also has interior courtyard facing views
Nice 😀
Those types of shampoo/soap dispensers are better for the environment.
The Drury in Nashville is pretty depressing. I was actually shocked at how bad it was.
Wow, this was nice, what type of elevators did they have?😸😸😸😸😸😸
I want to stay in one with a suite room
Try to find a tandem surfline carwash and in Brunswick Ohio there's a carwash named rainforest carwash c if u can do that one
Interesting fire map
IF the courtyard is enclosed.. where is all the heat from all those AC units going?
I just looked at the property on Google Earth. There appears to be a vent on one side of the skylight. goo.gl/maps/JvsLkfRCGBcuuo3S6 Good catch.

Room 244 Tour 0:16
So I'm confused- If the courtyard is enclosed, how are the climate control units exhausting outside?
Wisconsin Sirens & Signals Because the courtyard is so big that it airs out so fumes and stuff isn’t a concern.
@@disneyfan9099 But.... it's just constantly dumping heat from all of those units into that enclosed space....
Very nice
