    Hi Zlata! I play classical piano and I just started on the violin. Your online videos are a tremendous help to me as an absolute beginner. My husband plays 12- string guitar by ear and your videos are helping him to read notes for the first time. I plan on using your free lessons as long as you are offering them because I enjoy your teaching style and you play so beautifully. We are making an animated movie called The Adventures of Lieutenant Leeta, which is a sci-fi musical comedy that also deals with real-world problems. We wrote all of the music in the movie as well. You can hear one of the songs, "Umomma" in part one of the movie on UA-cam, with many more songs in part two to part five. If you can, try to catch it on UA-cam. Thank you so much for this fortunate opportunity to work with you on our lessons. Sincerely, Laura and Mike Tampanello from Delaware, USA

      @@violinlounge zlata I may have asked you somewhere else but while it's on my mind can you tell me the difference.. when you notate "C major" instead of just "C" on YOUR written music What is the difference?

    • @violinlounge
      @violinlounge  2 роки тому

      @@deadmanswife3625 C is one note. C major is a key and scale.

      @deadmanswife3625 2 роки тому

      @@violinlounge okay so that means I'm playing in a different scale starting with that notation. Which I guess that means this is the reason I should start focusing on learning my scales. Is this correct?

    Hi Zlata. Violin newbie from Denmark, I tried this video last night and from now on I will use it as my daily warm-up. I bought my violin last summer and I guess you can say I came in the back door learning the violin which always fascinated me, I and not sure if there´s a ring or wrong way of learning the violin as long as we pick it as our instrument.
    I am watching your beginner lessons and I will highly likely ask you some questions. Thank you for sharing so many amazing videos with us 🙂

    Zlata and team. This is in response to your request for introduction and feedback if I understood it correctly from the "free lessons page". Folks the first thing you need to know about me is that I'm a compleat computer idiot. I probably shouldn't be responding at this location. That being said , I'm a 66 yr old just learning to scrape on the violin because I'm impressed at watching you and others that are so accomplished. And I need your company so I'm fiddling around with your free lessons stuff. I have a low cost Karl Knilling Sinfonia . (best I can do). I'm at this point having a peek at the Soundslice page for the scales with hopes to figure that out without goofing something. Thanks for you guy's company , encouragement and lessens. If I ever find some 💰 I will get you what I should

    Hallo zlata. Als reactie op je mail. Ik ben heel erg dankbaar voor je duidelijke instructies en video's. Bedankt! Ik ga nu de lessen stuk voor stuk bekijken, ik haal overal iets nieuws uit! Ik speel deze december 2 jaar na jaren lang dromen. En met een beetje ploeteren lukt het aardig! Maar je slaat de spijker op zn kop. Soms klinkt het een dag later naar niets! Deze warm up ga ik gebruiken.
    Ik kwam ook af op je vibrato tuturials. Maar ik kom er nog niet uit. Ik heb ongeveer 1x per 3 weken les. En dat is echt een voorrecht. Liever elke dag! Dus je bent geweldig om dit te delen.
    Lieve groeten!

    What is the best way to tune? Tuning fork? Tuning apps? Tune in 5ths? Tune each string separately?

    • @violinlounge
      @violinlounge  4 роки тому

      Yes, yes, yes and yes ;). For a beginner start by tuning every string at a time with a tuner (an electronic one or my online tuner): violinlounge.com/violin-maintenance/how-to-tune-your-violin-as-a-beginner/ and with more experience switch to the tuning fork and tuning in fifths: violinlounge.com/violin-maintenance/how-to-tune-your-violin-with-a-tuning-fork-advanced/
