Hello, thank you for making this tutorials. They are very helpful. I have a question regarding the time frames of the que's when are being applied. For example i want to make a day time and night time restrictions for a specific client but i can't manage to make it work. I've tried making two rules with different time frames-in my case rules1 is host 192.168.88.239 limited to 256k up and 256k download. In the time dropdown menu i have entered Time: 22:00:00 - 05:00:00 and a parent of all bandwidth. The second rule is with the same host limited to 128k up and 128k download speed, the time frame for this rule is set to 05:00:01 - 21:59:00 and the parent is all bandwidth. However when i apply the second rule it turns red and its not working, where do i make a mistake? can you help me?
hi will it work if i set all limits to "unlimited" ? , because in my country the isp doesn't give us the up and down speeds, and it's dynamic with the city's usage... so will the queues work?

This is what i'm interested in "block Access" and the tool "make static" tying an IP Address to a Mac Addresss ?? and how do i see which users are downloading or using up bandwidth... Option block access, send messenge "nak". Client for example 10.2.33.32, not receive ip address from dhcp server, simply block access receive ip address from dhcp.
My Queue was red in the queue list and was not doing anything, even though I tried to to everything just like in this video. Turns out I needed to close the little time panel. I opened it but didn't check any of the days of the week so I had essentially set it up to never apply. Clicked the little arrow to collapse the time panel and then it worked. Perhaps this can help someone else in the same situation.
i checked the setup, it did not work well even if i assigned the targedted subnet. I already have another simple queues which are disable due to this new rule and even they are on different subnet. You did not show the Total Queue Type? Also, if we have another pcq types defined for Queue Tree, can we use them in your simple queue or we have to configure separate pcqs for this simple queue rule. Thanks

I have a 5MB total bandwidth to be shared with 14 different users, each user has their own IP Address. How do I set up the queue in this scenario ?

Yes you can with one drawback, you would have to add each ip within that range individually.
