This is quite horrific. Sending love to his family, friends, and classmates. If the idea of kids dying in explosions and being buried under the rubble that happened with Hurricane Helene a few months ago and now this doesn't make you think of the people in Gaza who have been dealing with this for more than a year, with more than 200,000 casualties, then I don't even know what to say.
I live about a mile away and I could hear the explosion and assumed someone dropped something upstairs. I had to go to bingham for a practice just a couple minutes later and I watched as a giant cloud of smoke filled the air. I uave several friends who live in the area who mentioned glass and insulation all over their yards, how they new the kid who lived there, it got more and more terrifying as I heard more from them. Three hours later, I was driving home and the road was blocked and firetrucks were all over the street. My friend who lives on that street just a house down was sobbing, wanting to go home but terrified that her house might explode to. This is just so, so sad. I sincerely hope his friends and family will find solice in their grief. We love tou Logan Hansen. Fly high dude.
May he rest in peace Even though i live elsewhere in utah and don't know bingham well I have been there for cross country meets in high school and drove through several times in recent years I know the pain the family is going through I still have my own pain after losing one or my best friends dads two months ago in a road rage homicide incident in jordanelle
If there had been a gas leak, and he walked into the house and flipped on a light switch, or turned on something electrical, that would be enough to set off an explosion. Unfortunately we will never know if he smelled the gas. Horribly tragic, prayers for the family.
Thoughts and prayers for this family. This is so very sad.
So very sad & tragic for family. How do you even recover from something like this. 💔😭💔
Thoughts and prayers to this family and community

RIP Logan Hansen. He was the only one in the home when it happened. I’ve been friends with him since elementary school
I am a close friend of Logan Hanson, I am in shock right now. I was on call with him three days ago…
It’s terrifying it can happen to anyone.

I think this was the case 🥀💔
He was my cousins bsf and he is so devastated rn and he watched the house blow up too… he lives up the street. 😢
We felt the explosion on 11800 S.

So sad for the boy dieing. God bless those hurting. 😢
Mercy 😢
my heart is broken 💔
Probably it was leaking gas
Couldn’t have been the “smart meter” could it?🤔🤔
The Meter connected to the gas or what you mean??
