Great teaching. JESUS himself said “give me the old”…. the “new” should be in direct alignment/agreement with the old… let’s keep in studying, learning, and understanding.
Thank you Dr Hendricks for you addressing the Same Gender Loving (SGL) matter involving our community and churches. There is nothing new under the Sun. There have always been SGL people in the church, families, and professions etc. Some were/are afraid to come out because of fear of persecution or repercussions. Denial and deception doesn’t work for me. Live and let live. Liberty & Justice for All. God will be the final Judge of all of us.
I disagree with his teaching concerning Paul and Jesus teaching Jesus talk about the kingdom of God and preparing us to praise and worship him to be holy and blameless for GOD kingdom when we get to heaven. Paul spoken to us to stop our sinning and that we all can be conversion and be accepted to GOD . Jesus was not a mystery person because no one ever seen him Jesus did speak to Paul and told him who he was Paul was the second person that heard Jesus voice, besides the Israelites in the old testament I notice that he is wearing a purple jacket that's the phonciean color that something to think about and the negatively he is speaking. 🤔
I am starting to look at continuing to follow Alfred Street. I see Dr Wesley start bringing in persons who support his tolerance of homosexuality and abortion. I am starting to loose interest in this church and the teachings she is sending across the world wide web, Is it membership the focus is on now?
A now he wants to talk about abortion right there here he go again no abortion is not in the bible but what is in the bible is GOD said do not kill it shows that he has a high opinion for sin and a low opinion of God,
I believe in The Bible, it is the word of The Lord!

I think purple is also a color associated with royalty.

So, the teachings of Paul are suspect and this preacher is the authority?
