They can speak english, but the french are very stubborn when it comes to their language. They mean that people should use French instead of English! They actually dub pretty much all the movies before they premier in france, thats why premiers in france are very late. I live in Norway and I saw the maze runner two days after the premier in the US i believe, I went to france a week later and it was a lot of posters for it, but it premiered three or four weeks LATER..because they had to dub it
