According to me if you are getting DU also or some good govt. University, you can do MSc there and during MSc clear the CSIR NET-JRF and try applying in IITs or IISc or abroad for PhD.
@@phdinterviews6971 is it worthy I mean the kind of exposure which I get in IITs can't get in any other universities and it can affect my project work also
@@kumarsaumya5867 Yeah it will be an advantage if you do MSc from IITs or IISc but I have seen many students who have done MSc from universities other than IITs or IISc but got PhD offered from IITs and abroad. Even some professors in IITs and IISc have done their MSc from universities but yeah later they have done other higher degrees like Ph.D or post-doc from good places.
@@kumarsaumya5867 But also one thing if you doesn't want to do Ph.D later, it will be more good if you get MSc degree from IIT. And also if you really want to do MSc from IIT, you can prepare for the JAM.
