Destination MT ain't too bad on Ice Road, slush and slush-mud conditions however if melting all day and icing during the night yes very slippery, but still better than the best 4x4 truck

What made you choose the Hybrid over the gas only Willy's? Was it just because you had no intention of buying either once lease is over? I have a 2020 Rubicon and considering an update to the 2024 Hybrid as lease prices are so attractive...but I am struggling with then likely not wanting it after lease due to concerns with the relaibility of the Hybrid system. I typically like to keep my vehicles a long time but the extra safety featurs of the 2024 I find attractive

      I have a 2022 4xE rubicon. I’ve had a 2013 ford plug-in (my son still drives it), and we still have a 2018 Bolt with 95k miles.
I don’t worry about the hybrid any more than I worry about all the power train components. It is a Stellantis product with all the negatives that come with it. I actually worry more about the turbos than the EV side.
My wife uses it as her daily driver and we do lots of trips to the desert and the Sierra. In between trips we basically never fill the tank.
We’re only 27k into this rig, I intend to keep it around. Ideally we’ll replace the Bolt in a few years, with whatever EV is up to date at the time…EVs go obsolete as quickly as phones so I don’t want to buy again until we have to.

It was the price and the fact that after owning an EV, I don’t like having something that doesn’t plug-in. Personally I don’t know if I’d own anything made by Chrysler that’s out of warranty, hybrid or not.

Also, the lease price was really attractive.

@@santiagohills3997 my issue is with a first generation stellantis EV long term. the 2.) Turbo was around prior and I have 60K miles on it and no issues at all. I think it may turn out to be the most reliable modern jeep powerplant based on complaints I read about the other engines.
