@@brittonnevans2208 the video says it is but as soon as he felt positive emotions from the healing the dark side energy healing him went away. Not to mention the self loathing that likely prevented a lot of it in the first place
You should be able to do it if you remained focused on serving the darkside. Say if he was joyous about becoming more powerful and being able to challenge his master. That would be healing for a dark purpose.
This needs a part 2 where vader reforms the empire. But great video, this is vader if did what emperor said and overcame his mental block to achieve his full power in the darkside.
That was a POWERFUL and fascinating story. You have a vivid and delightful imagination, that is more in line with George Lucas and the concept of the Star Wars galaxy and the force than any, if not most ALL of Disney's writers. I also thoroughly enjoy the music in the background, it's not only appropriate... but it's haunting! I love it, I have no idea if it's a part of an actual composition or an excerpt. However, I'm GLAD you continually use it because it amplifies the stories intrigue. Your channel is amazing, is growing and I definitely subscribe because I find you a fascinating individual, your research excellent and your voice and captive storytelling superlative. I could listen to you all day talk not only about Star Wars, especially Darth...but just about anything because you make it "exceedingly" interesting. 💖
If Anakin could heal himself he would overthrow Palpatine. It would be too much of a cake walk in Star Wars and I don't think George would want that to happen. There would have to be a struggle in the story and Anakin's fall from grace, overcoming the suit and the dark side would be that struggle for Anakin. However healing his injuries from his torso but keeping his prosthetics would make for an interesting challenge with Palpatine. What would it be like if Anakin's prosthetic arms were made with cortosis or he had a cortosis armor like the helmet and gauntlet like Qimir?
Palpatine knew that Vader would easily mop the floor with him if he healed his injuries and reached his full potential. Hence why Palpatine intentionally weakened Vader with the suit to be powerful to be his enforcer but not powerful enough to ever challenge him. Palpatine intentionally put limitations and weakness to force lighting to keep Vader under his control and easily kill or punish if Vader ever tried to retaliate against him.
Very cool, love the Vader insight, but I think you've underestimated Palpatine. Given his knowledge of Plagueis, he's surely considered the possibility. I think he'd have some kind of psychological gambit planned, presumably involving the kids. Play off the joy-cancels-the-healing cycle, maybe? I think the version of Vader painted here still overcomes that one last hurdle, so the story ends in the same spot. And sign me up for the group that wanna know, what happens next?
💀💀He would be so strong not only because of the healing it’s like the zenkai boost of the sayains like the with ever-increasing potential and combat adaptability
I sometimes wonder if Vader could "heal" himself with the Dark Side of the Force, or if it was just some other kind of enhancement power? I don't dislike the idea that the Dark Side can heal; Cade had Dark Healing/Transfer, so there's precedent I support, but if Vader actually healed, then why would it need to be maintained? Why would it revert? That sounds more like time shenanigans, or enhancement. If he actually healed, that should be a new baseline, and maybe he'd struggle to keep pushing it even further, and FULLY heal his body, but Amy rejuvenated tissue should have remained better, even when he lost his rage, and couldn't keep doing more of it. That's just me, of course.
I Think That This would have been possible to happen During that Time Hade Founde out That Luke was His own son And Hade Told His own son About That He is His father Anekin Skywalker.
Yeah George always said that because he lost four limbs and had so little of his physical body left, he lost his potential in the Force. That's something that hasn't really been carried over into the new canon lore, so I decided not to focus on it in this story. Instead I wanted to focus on how Vader's suit really limited him, and without it, he would basically be back to Revenge of the Sith Anakin again in terms of mobility and speed. I also wanted to imply that he was able to unlock some new powers and become stronger through the dark side nexus on Mustafar when he healed himself.
Yeah thank you and I don't know about you but the loss of limbs redusing power kinda go against the concept of luminous beings Yoda mentioned in the original trilogy
She didn't even get hit with force lightening either did she? Not at that point anyway, I thought the whole point of being able to use it you had to actually get hit yourself with it.. as you say, bad writing 🤷♂️ At least she didn't magically bleed her kyber crystal by holding her saber hilt 😂
Anakin could NEVER reach his "full potential", unless he could somehow regenerate his arms and legs. BUT, since he is now mostly whole, what does he do next? Does he go back to resurrecting Padme? He must, at this point, feel invincible, like whatever limitations he had, are behnd him. So powerful is he, he feels, that even his past failures to bring Padme back are beneath him now. Surely, he would feel, not even THAT failure can hinder him now. He IS the Dark Side of The Force. And he will bend it to his will in a way not even PALPATINE, or VITIATE, or REVAN could.
Well, thats a very complicated area of lore! It was George who stated that Vader was weaker because he lost his limbs and had so little of his physical body left. But in the new canon, that doesn't seem to have been carried over. Force users still maintain their strength regardless of losing limbs or any injuries. Maul got cut in half and he didn't get any weaker!
🤔 I’d have to go look in books, but I know that he had tubes going inside his chest because his lungs were completely scorched. Idk if he had mechanical lungs replace them
Vader beat the emperor. He simply throw it .Grab it and throw it down the tunnel . Vader can beat the emperor. Any way he wants. But choose not to . For political reasons. And wanted his son.
You missed an opportunity to enhance your story. Vader now fully healed, hid his new found strength from the Emperor. He maintained his armor and the appearance of his dependency. Although knowing he could easily defeat his master, Vader knew there were many secrets hidden from him. It would be foolish to waste those advantages with a quick strike. “Patience!”
I don’t see Vader overthrowing Palpatine. The Emperor was a brilliant politician, tactician, strategist and combatant. Vader was a good fighter, but that was about it and he showed signs of being less than intellectually gifted.😢
You’d think that healing would absolutely be a dark side power, as it is bending the will of the Force for self service.
@@brittonnevans2208 maybe not healing but attaching missing limbs in a very painful way ti your body defenitly should be

I agree! This was awesome
💯 Yes I need more also
Yes, need a part 2 ASAP
The secret Force Ability to control Life & Death that Darth Plagueis kept was that he used the Light Side to do so.
You did a great job with the fan fiction. The callbacks were on point. I especially like “This is the end for you, my master.”
Absolutely loved this one! Please continue with a part 2!

Definitely want to see you continue this! Vader healing himself and defeating Palpatine is a great idea! Awesome as always!!!
What if Vader decided to use his dna to create new limbs and lungs with the remaining kamanoins
Pretty fun. Ya, should have a part 2, see how meeting Obi and the kids goes.
This definetely needs a part 2 on how Luke and Vader will meet
Awesome story!! I love any story where Palps gets his comeupence!
First time listen to your videos great job
Good work man
That was good. a really good what if scenario. i loved it
I love how this story implies that Palpatine absolutely _could_ have used his power to reverse his deformed face, but just didn't want to.
Better than any Disney Star Wars. I'll give you that.
This is such a wicked hypothetical scenario! 😁👏👏
It seems he achieve what Lord Plagueis managed to do with his Midichlorians! Restore his body, to much better and younger state
Midichlorians Duke
Would love to see a part 2 of thie. Great video 👍
I can’t wait to hear this !!! Let’s go !
Very well done.

2:40 I think would be interesting if in another universe, plagueis gets in touch with vader and secretly teach him how influence the midiclorians.
So do I…
Vader should have run the damned show from the get go.
Sidious wasn’t what was needed for the task.
Vader was…
Hail Lord Vader!

Great story and would be awesome for an alternate universe!!
I believe Anakin would have sought out every means to restore himself.. transplants, cloning, even a new suit..Palpatine would have tried to stop him.
Great story!
well done!

what if vader used the dark side to re-grow some of his limbs
Or used the resources of the empire to clone his limbs and have them attached.

It is really ironic considering the empire had countless ressources they never could have heal vader
The emperor wanted Vader in that broken condition. That’s why his armor was sub par. Did you not know this?
