My first truck was a 75 kw. 318 Detroit, overdrive 13, and a walking beam suspension. The guy that trained me ran it a lot between portland and boise pulling a reefer.
Been waiting on the backstory on this truck for well over a year and a half. Happy to get filled in. Its a great looking truck and nice to know that it can do a little work if needed. Appreciate each and every video you take the time to make.
Tried to say hello at Plymouth but ya were pretty chatted up 4th. Really appreciate yer enthusiasm and level of detail as a truck fan! Cheers and hope to introduce myself in person next year! Cheers
Beautiful job on restoring it. Is there any chance you could sometime do a in cab ride along carting some gravel or something? Thanks for sharing this beauty👍
Credit to your family as this looks in real good condition and if needed fit for immediate work! Just not sure how the colours fit comfortably with dump truck work = lots of truck washing!! Regards, Dan
Your W900A is a great old rig. The Cat C12 repower was a great idea. Pretty cool to see an electronic CAT in an old truck. She sounds healthy! I would love to hear the Jakes at some point! 🎶 I have a question. In regards to California Emissions regulations now.😔 😔 How are you able to run your equipment with an older engine? I am curious? Thank you. See you on the next one! 🌲
Hey Cody, I need to do some driving videos of it, the jakes have a good sound. This truck has historical license plates so its technically not a for hire truck anymore, so it doesn't need to meet the current emission crud. There are still some exemptions for trucks to use I think such as 1000-mile yearly limit and some Nox exempt counties, I think. Thanks for the question and for watching.

The C12 was a great choice for a repower , it's the little brother of the C15 !!
Yes, I really like it and has plenty of power for a ten-wheeler. Thanks for watching
