// I honestly think The 1975 are truly the most amazing band in the world. They possess the power to transport you to another world in no time. They have lyrics that you could relate to, they have stories some could relate to, they are 100% real and they don't care whether you like the real them or not. Sure they aren't like so many bands they don't have the looks you would find in other modern day bands (you know the ones that are photo shopped) but still they are more attractive than any other. It's like they can reach down your soul and touch it. The chills that they give you are not like any other. The chills are the ones where your arm and back hair stand up but it's warm that you want to feel it again and again, I honestly can say with every ounce of my body agreeing that there will never be a band like The 1975. I feel bad for the generation.People won't hear what absolute genius The 1975 music is. I love The 1975 // May they always be heard forever.
I love how you can vaguely hear "I'm scared" at the beginning and end of the song. it's like the repetition of "I'm not scared" is him trying to reassure himself and trying to push away the truth.

this production is so special. George Daniel really is a genius with electronic music. and obviously Matty’s songwriting and voice…it’s just a perfect match
The line "there's been a piece of broken glass and a terrible sound" really resonates with me. Unfortunately, two years ago someone close to me, smashed a glass cup into my head. I bled profusely for hours afterwards and I couldn't stop myself from weeping loudly and gasping as if my life was coming to a terrible end. I feel much better now but can you blame me if tears are rolling down my face as I type theses words. Thank you The 1975 for making my life in infinitely better.
I hate how people in fandoms or whatever only judge people if their real fans or fake. See I'm not any of those because I really dont care how old they are or any personal detail about them but their whole album is on repeat and I really am I'm love with this band. So to the people who go crazy when somebody doesn't know what's their favorite color don't immediately call them a fake fan, maybe they don't give a shit about that. Maybe they just want to listen to their songs.
When that extra layer of background instrumental starts at 1:40, I go somewhere. I hadn't listened to this song in a good while. I came back to this because it one of my favorites and when this song came on I never paid attention to that small yet powerful piece. It suddenly became a new song like I was hearing it for the first time. Not often that this happens. Listening to this Album straight through many years ago after a hiking trip. Just driving through the night and listening was one the best experiences I have had. Truly a piece of art.
and everytime i return, it’s always me falling in love with the 1975 again and again. it’s been 5 years since i first found you, yet you’ve always made such a presence in my life.
The 1975 is absolutely a genius band. They are musically the group, no matter what emotion you are going through can listen to all the time. Matt Healy reminds me of David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Prince rolled into one person. They are really amazing and need to keep creating great sounds for decades. 1975, you're #1 in my book and 5 stars. Keep rocking and rolling.
Always keep coming back to this one, remember being 3rd year varsity in 2013 when I got into these guys and too this day I am still a huge fan, bigger than before actually.
10 years later and this is still one of my favorite albums ever made. I was listening to this in my senior year of high school and I'm still listening as I finish my master's degree
