Nope I wash and use sanitizer throughout the night at work, because I have to touch other things I know are dirty, I’d rather know my hands are clean. I mostly wear gloves to not get food on them, other than that I wash.
Stuff happens from time to time, but a lot of the problem is that people don’t do their jobs anymore. They don’t take care in their work. They did get back to me though, which many companies never do, so I'll give them credit for that. It ended up to be part of a cleaning rag!! I kept a little piece of it just in case and I could see it was a ripped piece of a rag. That was over 5 years ago and I haven't eaten anything from Hostess since then.

Well if you use fresh spinach or anything that grows in the garden, you should put it in a colander and rinse it, and watch for anything that might've accidentally gotten in there from the garden.
Exactly. How do people not know this? I remember biting into apples we picked as little kids and finding the occasional worm. It’s a normal part of nature. You need to anticipate it and be mindful.
Don't matter there're attempting to make us eat bugs anyway,Bill Gates is partner with the food NOW ,. I got a salad with a LIVE CRICKET (grasshopper) in it once at a local pizza place. Lol. I wasn't all that traumatized actually 😅 I mean, it was still alive & critters do get in food. You literally can't stop ALL of them. But I feel like it is getting worse lately & these companies just don't really care because the government doesn't care either. I returned the salad & didn't reorder anything. They gave me a refund of the salad and other food items too.
There is a video put out by some KFC employees showing how they’re trained to ADD the days, old and unsold food to the new food meant for the next day to sell to unsuspecting customers which contaminates it and includes both the chicken and Mac & cheese.
My boyfriend ate sooo many raspberries daily, until one day he found a worm in one. I didn’t think it was a big deal, I mean they are grown in the wild it’s a fruit these things can happen, but he sure freaked out. Didn’t eat them again for many many years. He’ll eat them now but nowhere as much as he used to.
The fact he found a worm in one means the raspberries didn’t come from a farm that uses pesticides, which is good in hindsight but terrible for those who found bugs in their fruit 😅
Heinz ketchup was made in Canada for 100 years until 2014 and then it moved to the USA... when you move your factory where standards are a lot lower you get stuff like that.
Turbatrix aceti (vinegar eels, vinegar nematode, Anguillula aceti) are free-living nematodes that feed on a microbial culture called mother of vinegar (used to create vinegar) and may be found in unfiltered vinegar. They were discovered by Pierre Borel in 1656.
Always wash your prepackaged salads !!!!! Always !!! And refrigerate your condiments after opening. It’s even says on the label. And about the ketchup. I have encountered something like that at a restaurant. I was eating fries with my ketchup and then noticed white stuff in it. To me it looked like cheese in the shape of worms. It was weird. I stopped eating after that. Maybe that’s why the little worms, or vinegar eels are showing up in the ketchup. It has vinegar in it.
Do people not realize how many bugs, insects & other like things are in things we eat. No matter how clean, or careful, you can not completely prevent insect/bug parts. Peanut butter is a very good example of this. These will not harm us.
In the US it is more concerning, what chemicals are allowed to be used in food, countless of these are banned in Europe, which is why those companies often have to change their recipe for our market.
About 10 years ago I went to the Olive garden in Salem Oregon with my sister. I was eating the soup tuscana (I think that's what it's called) and there was like some thick worm like Caterpillar type things in it, I pulled like three out...Of course after I already taken a couple of bites of the soup. I showed it to my sister and she called over a waiter who then called over the manager and everyone to look at it...needless to say our whole meal paid for and they tried to give us a gift receipt for like 60 bucks or something but yeah I never went back

The woman with the spinach frog is not an isolated incident. They had a woman not too long ago that found a frog alive in the package at the grocery store.
When they say isolated incident they mean that THEIR products were not affected outside of this one incident. They are not saying no one has ever or will never see a frog in a package. They are investigating to see if the frog being found is an actual issue with their product or production or if its just an isolated freak incident that occurred only in her package.
Yeah, someone also found a frog in their spinach and kept it, it made me happy, but seeing that frog in the salad made me sad, and the frog is a aquatic frog I have no idea HOW it got in there.
I make my own condiments because I cannot digest sugar, and most everything on the shelves these days has sugar, or high fructose corn syrup; which is even worse for our health. I make my own yogurt and cream cheese as well. The flavor is so good. I can add raw honey or full fruit spreads, with no added sugar. I make my own fruit jams by cooking down the fruit till soft, then add honey to taste, then freeze in small jars.
Wow, CSID is rare. That sucks. Not sure why you'd struggle with HFCS though, as the sugars are almost completely glucose and fructose, the same as in honey.
I can't believe I'm finally hearing of yet another person with a sugar issue! A girl I knew in high-school and middle school had a sugar allergy, but in a different way than you. She was severely and dangerously allergic. She couldn't even have fruit either..... There was an incident in home-ec where we were making homemade candy, and the vapor from the stove sent her to the hospital! It happened SO QUICKLY too. I felt soooo bad for the poor girl 😕 She always had to bring her own food to school parties and events, etc..
Im not surprised this happened... Heinz is in high demand for their ketchup so much so that at some point they had a huge shortage. So restaurants trying to squeeze every last drop of ketchup they can get from their Heinz bottles sound about right.

Nope I wash and use sanitizer throughout the night at work, because I have to touch other things I know are dirty, I’d rather know my hands are clean. I mostly wear gloves to not get food on them, other than that I wash.
My skin gets dry but it’s worth it
So grossed out I know one thing that I'm not eating anymore.
Stuff happens from time to time, but a lot of the problem is that people don’t do their jobs anymore. They don’t take care in their work. You treat that food as if YOUR family is eating every product or meal.
They don’t look beyond themselves or their paycheck to realize they could be harming someone else. It’s really sad. 😔
Minimum wage minimum effort.
@@handling_this_handle.-. Would be true IF it didn't affect someone's health/possibly life.
@@handling_this_handle.-.
People got paid much less back in the day, but still took much more pride in their work. If you are being paid to do something, you do it.
Are You ok with people being negligent with products you work to pay money for? Are you ok with people being negligent with the food your family eats? The vehicles they travel in?

Well, ain’t you just precious?
I worked in a large Southern California Hospital in their Anatomic Pathology department. We received thousands of surgical specimens. One day, we got a bit of a surprise, someone sent in a partially eaten muffin from a grocery store, and in it was a part of a mouse. Ugh!
I was at a friend's house and I asked her why she don't her ketchup in the refrigerator. She said she doesn't like cold ketchup on her hot fries and it haven't been a problem before. I rarely eat at her house anymore
Those ketchup dispensers they use at fast food restaurants need cleaned EVERY DAY not once a month😭😂if u cleaned it once a month it would literally be caked up and disgusting
Me, who never has eaten ketchup:🗿🗿
bro same
You've never been to heaven? Have you?
Most people don't know how to keep food safely and don't read the instructions on the label; they also don't observe if bottles and cans are integer before buying and don't clean them before storing them in the pantry.
I was eating one of those Hostess chocolate cupcake with the white cream inside and a white swirl on top and I bit into it and there was a long stringy thing in my mouth!! I called Hostess, they arranged to come pick it up and gave me some coupons which I threw away, I couldn't eat them ever again! They did get back to me though, which many companies never do, so I'll give them credit for that. It ended up to be part of a cleaning rag!! I kept a little piece of it just in case and I could see it was a ripped piece of a rag. That was over 5 years ago and I haven't eaten anything from Hostess since then.
Lucky the worst thing I've found in my food is a piece of cardboard in my can of Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup. That was several years ago though and I haven't seen anything weird since then.
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW RELIVED I WAS WHEN YOU SAID VINIGEAR EELS ARE SAFE TO CONSUME-
Dude the glove in the pizza was the most reassuring and comforting thing I've seen this video. I was like "OH NO NOT EVEN PIZZA IS SAFE FROM DISGUSTING LITTLE WORMS AND MAGGOTS"
This was the wrong video to watch while eating dinner
2013 McDonald's across from the Hardrock Biloxi MS gave a child a vanilla ice cream cone. When she took a bight it was pink. Ends up the ice cream cone had human blood in it. These things happen so much.
I rarely go out to eat. Now I don't know if I'll ever want to again.
Don't matter there're attempting to make us eat bugs anyway,Bill Gates is partner with the food NOW ,. On the other hand, there's thousands of recalls on many foods above normal
Quaker Oats, Spanish, Catalops, lettuce and on and on, There're always been recalls but not on this scale. In addition some people have died but not many and some hospitalizations.
A lot of eople don't want to buy Bragg vinegar now because he has control or partner with that now and the ingredients has changed as well.
In the past year I have noticed. That the more I watch these types of videos. The more I've lost weight.....Bring on the famine. My body is almost ready. AP
I have never liked ketchup and now I have another reason not to
My thoughts exactly 😩
You understand this can happen to virtually ANY food and had nothing to do with Heinz but rather people not properly caring for it...right??
@@michaelhaydenbellnah bro she just doesn’t like ketchup you can like it
I have had Heinz most days my whole life and never had this issue!! D
Bro they was worms all inn that ketchup 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ what if you ate half of that so I’d say 20 worms 🪱 would you get a parasite?
Most nasty thing I’ve ever gotten is ants in my Chex mix, didn’t know there were ants in it until I tasted metal & checked the box😭
I got a bag of lays chips from a vending machine like over 20 years ago when I was a kid and got to the bottom of the bag just to find dead ants. They were the really tiny kind. I was really little so I remember thinking "wow I'm gonna be a millionaire" cuz of a lawsuit but then I got bored and threw it away later that day.
"pasta á la kermit" sent me out of the known universe ☠️☠️
I got a salad with a LIVE CRICKET (grasshopper) in it once at a local pizza place. Lol. I wasn't all that traumatized actually 😅 I mean, it was still alive & critters do get in food. You literally can't stop ALL of them. But I feel like it is getting worse lately & these companies just don't really care because the government doesn't care either. I returned the salad & didn't reorder anything. They gave me a refund of the salad and other food items too.
The way this girl says "...YUP" with that smug tone makes me so angry 💀
luckily I’m a picky eater 😍
Yeah.. I'm pretty sure I'm never eating food again. I'll just become a breatharian 😂
mood😅
Maybe try making your own food. I think you'll like that more than starving.
“Pasta a la Kermit” 😂😅😂 Bon Apetit!
"Pasta à la Kermite" 🐸
There is a video put out by some KFC employees showing how they’re trained to ADD the days, old and unsold food to the new food meant for the next day to sell to unsuspecting customers which contaminates it and includes both the chicken and Mac & cheese.
My boyfriend ate sooo many raspberries daily, until one day he found a worm in one. I didn’t think it was a big deal, I mean they are grown in the wild it’s a fruit these things can happen, but he sure freaked out. Didn’t eat them again for many many years. He’ll eat them now but nowhere as much as he used to.
The fact he found a worm in one means the raspberries didn’t come from a farm that uses pesticides, which is good in hindsight but terrible for those who found bugs in their fruit 😅
i found a worm in mine recently 😭
some things I wish I never knew..
Heinz ketchup was made in Canada for 100 years until 2014 and then it moved to the USA... when you move your factory where standards are a lot lower you get stuff like that.
Has nothing to do with the country you are in . Has to do with upper management. i bet they are all Canadian right ?
I make it a habit of never look to close at my food. It's better for your mental health and I don't remember being sick from eating.
😭I just had fries and ketchup before watching this
Once you switch to Dyer Mills ketchup, you can never go back to the other stuff. But Chick-fil-A sauce is still where it's at!
A LA KERMIT HAD ME WHEEZING
nothing is safe
Now i will never look at my ketchup the same again
See? It's not only America!
Pasta a la Kermit got me at the end there 🤣
I've never tried kombucha. Drinking sweet vinegar doesn't appeal to me, I don't get it.
This is why the only good food at red lobster is the buscuits
About 10 years ago I went to the Olive garden in Salem Oregon with my sister. I was eating the soup tuscana (I think that's what it's called) and there was like some thick worm like Caterpillar type things in it, I pulled like three out...Of course after I already taken a couple of bites of the soup. I showed it to my sister and she called over a waiter who then called over the manager and everyone to look at it...needless to say our whole meal paid for and they tried to give us a gift receipt for like 60 bucks or something but yeah I never went back
When I was at university in 2013, I bought a tub of marshmallow fluff (from the UK, had never seen it before) and after I opened it, discovered a tonne of whoppers/ maltesers at the bottom of the jar?!
free perk
See, that what happens when you don't refrigerate a tub of marshmallow fluff. It's the perfect environment for malteasers to thrive. 😋
That sucks. Not sure why you'd struggle with HFCS though, as the sugars are almost completely glucose and fructose, the same as in honey.
congratulations?😂🎉
THAT IS SO NASTY 😭🙏
I once had a jug of Arizona tea. I drank some of it, but when I looked closer at the bottle I saw a fuzzy ball floating in it. It looked like a knot of mold living in my tea, straight from the grocery store. 🤢🤮
Bleh
Lol. Are worms vegan? Funny that the vegan guy said go ahead. Drink it. 😅
I am glad to live in Germany and we voted against adapt to American food culture etc.
Best decision ever
A lot of people don't refrigerate their ketchup, even though the bottle tells you to refrigerate after opening.
The guy with the pizza, you could see the glove was baked into the pizza, so idk why someone would think it was faked.
14:21 when people use gloves , they sometimes forget to wash their hands. remember that
Does no one remember the “ketchup has an “allowed” amount of bugs in it” claims from the 90’s? 😂
All food has an acceptable amount of bug parts.mould, rodent hairs etc in it. That's just life. It's absolutely impossible to guarantee otherwise. Google "FDA Food Defects Standards".
The USDA allows a certain amount of insects, insect parts and mouse poop in food. Go to the goverment website and see for yourself.

the "best by" date on food is for UNOPENED food. you can't open something that expires in 2 years and expect it to last 2 years
How is the receipt for the pizza proof that a glove was cooked into it?
I didn't understand that either. However, I definitely believe the dude. Because it was really cooked in. There wasn't just a pizza that was taking a part in a glove just put in it. That was def cooked in the pizza
This is insane. No more Heinz for me😟
I stopped liking ketchup when I realized its basically sugar.
i think the restaurant i work at is one of the most sanitary places to get food from. we clean everything daily and replace everything at least every other day
