- Shoutout to Jeremy from Strides Running in Calgary for this tip. I hope this prevents at least 1 fall from a viewer this and every other winter.
Stay safe

My pleasure. They are called icespikes. Icespikes.com. I got them at a local run shop called Strides.
thank you
I am extremely nervous walking on icy areas, how safe are these for an older person?
Very nice and helpful tips.
How does that screw-tip not poke into your feet? How does one know how much leeway there is?
It doesn’t penetrate very far at all. You don’t even notice it.
Thank you 🙏 much needed
My pleasure. Hope it helps you as it did to me.
Thanks for the tips. On the Peregrine 11 those round areas on the grips are made for screws are they not? Slightly lower than the lugs and should work. I was just looking at mine today for this reason. I was thinking of using 1/4 inch hex metal screws but the ones you have would be better.
My pleasure. I believe those areas are for screws. These work very well. Cheers.
Where do you find those screws?
I found them at a local running store, but I do believe you can get them online.
