I think she should’ve auditioned but idk if she really had the vocal abilities to really play Ariel considering the live action actress actually sounds like Ariel when she sang and could do so much more with her voice. Any white woman can “look like” Ariel but if you can’t actually sing it’s a major deal breaker.
