@@GrimRize he probably tamed it down because he had a tendency of not landing his runs, not because he isn't capable but because the tricks he would do were so technical and easy to mess up.
my man from japan (cant remember his name) would have won it all had he done his semi final second run in the finals. i still dont know how he did not finish better. anyway, great contest, really enjoyed all the skaters!

His brain wiring is different, I know this because it's recently happened to me where I crossed the bridge between sub-concious and conscious thoughts, I can snap in and out of focus on command and am completely attuned to my body, I can also control stress levels and dopamine which is a huge plus. I won't bore you as I know it already sounds like the ramblings of mad man, but since then my progression and ability to learn tricks is fucking crazy and I love it. I could be pro in 5-10 years if that's the goal I mentally labelled, but I haven't, skating is just strictly fun and dopamine on tap for me now :)

so good to see shane finally put down a decent score in the final after 4-5 years of witnessing "the unravelling of shane o'neill" in chris cole's words. tbh I was really surprised he won and assumed the ps5 was a commiseration prize. really wish nyjah would have been there because it was such a tough competition and nyjah really had his work cut out for him
No live scores was sick! Maybe next year they should add no running on the ramp decks for setup and board must go above quarter pipe coping at least twice🤣
this has annoyed me, when they jump off the board instead of having a continuous run. should be plenty of points for flow in the round .when they jump off the board, the aesthetics of the round are broken

For how good Shane is, it's a shame the run was so boring yet so good somehow. Basically he just finally put together a run of all the tricks he usually does at Tampa Pro. Glad he finally won though.
