Financial Assistance Revise Rates 2023 | Appointment on Rule 17A Discontinued | Lump Sum Grant |

In continuation of this department's policy letter of even number dated 15.08.2017 and in pursuance of decision of the Caretaker Provincial Cabinet in its 32" meeting held on 21.11.2023, I am directed to state that the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to approve following revision in the provisions of Sr. No.1 & 5 of para-1 of existing Financial Assistance Package notified vide Finance Department's policy letter bearing No.FD-SR-I /3-10/2004 dated 15.08.2017 for the families of civil servants who die while in service. It shall be applicable w.e.f. 21.11.2023.
Appointment of one child or widow in BS-1 to BS-11 (including the post of Patwari and Junior Clerk) on contract or regular basis as per provisions of Rules 17-A of the PCS (A&CS) Rules, 1974. Discontinued.
