Timeless this song is 40 plus years old. Yet everyone can sing along with every word. I truly believe if Ronnie was still with us they would still be on top of the charts
Love ❤️ Love this. Saw LS like 10 yrs ago, in the sun, 120 degrees literally and the Best Concert ever. Well besides Shinedown. They would be so proud of this, so many bands and people have killed this song, and Brent your the only one with the band that has made this so beautiful. You guys are so talented.

I remember being here at this show and it being one of the most special moments I've ever seen at a show. The video doesn't fully capture it, but it the crowd absolutely went insane when she introduced herself. I don't think I'll ever forget this moment
Yes it is a great song but who could ever pick the best one?every song is a true masterpiece! He sure was an extraordinary man to write that many masterpieces in such a short life 😅 Cant wait to scream Free bird from the back row when I see them all again💕💟💖🌈🎸🎸
Yes Brent and Jasin Todd had a long talk during TTS tour when they came to Jacksonville Florida & they are good. I guess Brent finally wanted to talk to him after the scare he had when he slipped up and was mixing Benzo and alcohol. He has admitted he had a bad time in interviews.
@@maryhelenbuchele7342 my cousin Jason Cornell turned me on to shinedown at the very beginning. He built stages and stuff before they had hit and I have loved them since. We lost Jason to the big h and now I have a daughter that is sadly lost to drugs also, but shinedown is always there for me. They write the soundtrack to my life and they keep me alive. I will always be grateful to my cousin Jason for giving me my light in the darkness ✨️ thank you shinedown for everything 🥰
I agree with you I yeah I used to go to them, it's nothing but trouble it's nothing like when I went to them with my brothers & friend's but your so right 🥴😆
@@EscapingElyisum i agree total relief for her if that's the case , he totally let her off the hook Just think about singing in front of all them ppl ??
Last concert I we t was lynerd s with Gary Johnny arty eddy king at Nassau Col l l I NY she is a great gurl ronney would be proud I think she got grand dads hair
why he didnt give her a mike to sing along or at least share his...especially since they only brung her out for the last verse...why not the whole song for her to sing along...she knew all the words..after all it was her granddaddys song that put shinedown..on the map
Yeah... he offered the mic 8 times to the audience... why the heck would he not share the mic with her at the end? (I really don't like singers tossing the mic so the audience can chime in...)
He should of just let her sing. He did the singing, talking and mostly just talking. About all these reminiscing clips that have shown up on UA-cam in the last few days are all like that. I’ve been a fan since I was 14 years old and now I’m 58. But I feel that they wanted to do a reunion tour I understand but they let it go on too long. For what ever reason they had is their business. But now the remaining band members are calling it quits. There are those that do what this clip has done just talk pretty much through out the whole songs they are playing they do show footage of the original band with Ronnie on the big screen.
Sadly Jacksonville has been hijacked by a bunch of Yankees who would never understand the southern band that Ronnie or his band were..Very few southern Florida natives left..
Shinedown they are from Jacksonville, Florida i seen them before they were as big as they are now.!! Remember when they were just a band that we would go see at the bar’s!!!!
I only heard him !☝😳 Not her, I real like I got ripped off. He actually couldn't sing the song worth 💩👈. Well , that's 4 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.🤔
All I can say is the a holes in this crowd deserved to sit through this awful version. To be honest though, even the original Skynyrd’s live version doesn’t work well either. I can see why it didn’t make the original release of One More From the Road.
seriously ?evident you never seen the original band with ronnie play it live and you dam sure wouldn't make that remark to rvz or I wouldn't have advised it lol !
Greatest song ever written
very nice, thank you for sharing....Ronnie would be so proud
Timeless this song is 40 plus years old. Yet everyone can sing along with every word. I truly believe if Ronnie was still with us they would still be on top of the charts
That was super sweet seeing Ronnie's grand daughter singing with the audience. Definitely felt magical.
It definitely was, how proud she must be for all the great music her Pappa made, and how it's a part of her....
I'm sure Brent was humbled to have her sing along as well! Shinedown is a class act no doubt!
RIP Ronnie, what a talent we lost, great cover by Shinedown
My son and I danced to it at his wedding. Absolutely the only one we could agree on. He's a country boy and I love Rock!

Best song on the extremely long list of classics that Ronnie wrote.
True, i want them to play it at my funeral, next to free bird and highway to hell :D
But all in the original, Ronnie and Bon singing it.
Agreed. Excellent music And lyrics.
THIS SONG HAS AND WILL BE ALWAYS MY FAVORITE BY RONNIE JOHNNY AND THE REST OF THE BAND. ALWAYS EXCELLENT

RIP Ronnie, Steve & Cassie.
I was really hoping to hear one of Ronnie's kids or grandkids using the mic. and to be able to sing, I shall wait, patiently.

Ronney had to be convinced to do this number Gary said he d if t really like it
So dang sweet on so many levels ♥️
All the racket in the crowd /drunks is the reason I don’t go to concerts .
Me too!
totally ruins the video.
Is everyone supposed to just sit there completely silent like they're at a Opera? Im sure nobody would want your pretentious ass there anyway.🤣
Well then you don't go to concerts I consider that stupid
And you assume because people are being loud and having a good time that must mean they're drunk probably because you're that lame
She looks like Ronnie . Beautiful family.
I love ,love, love this! I hope this means that Brent and Jasin are all good now. As a fan from the beginning it made my heart sing to see this 💕
What happened?
Yes Brent and Jasin Todd had a long talk during TTS tour when they came to Jacksonville Florida & they are good. I guess Brent finally wanted to talk to him after the scare he had when he slipped up and was mixing Benzo and alcohol. He has admitted he had a bad time in interviews.

Did you notice that when the whole crowd started singing the loudmouths got quiet especially when Ronnie's granddaughter started singing
Goddam!!!! That is powerful man!!! Holy shit, happy tears. . . .
I wish these ads clowns would show some damn respect!
Nothing beats a Shinedown show...

YES THAT WAS COOL BUT WHY DID HE NOT GIVE HER THE MIC !!!
maybe she's not a good singer and didnt want a mic, but wanted to go on stage either way?
Idk, im just guessing

J n D Van Zants great niece

A lot of people don't realize Ronnie van zants granddaughter is actually jasin todds daughter , jasin was married to melody vz
Geez he could of let her sing some of her Grandpas song!! I’m sure she has an awesome voice as well!! Great song!!
That's what I thought he didnt let her sing into the mic 😥🤯

Give her the freakin mic. Just saying. I hope she pops up to keep the band alive.
I think some one in Shinedown. Is related to the vanzant's some how
Jasin Todd who was the former guitar player was married to Ronnie Van Zant’s daughter Melody. They had a daughter together.

Why didn't he let her sing???
Cool video. Too bad the one a**clown guy just kept blabbering and spewing on and on and on.
Took away from the whole production. Smh
Good video but did he say Jacksonburg, aka Pittsburgh
He said Jacksonville, Shinedown and Skynyrd's hometown.

I dont like all the cameras going, just watch the show. Nobody even watches it later. Kive in the moment and enjoy
Actually I watch them pretty regularly!
Is she the same little girl on the Shinedown video?
She is, she’s also the daughter of Jasin the original Shinedown guitarist.
Took long enough to bring her out.
She is the daughter of Jasin Todd right?
Robin?
@@BPC1980 I think he was married with Melody but I’m not sure.
