...Yet another exceptional song sung by the professor of Music-Ustad ANUP JALOTA- although this song has been sung by many before him..every one has sung in their own style and grace..but as a promoter of music I listened to this version and I feel that it would be a great injustice if I did not give Anup Ji -99/100 for this -since a lot of his skills have become visible in this song..especially the twists and turns taken.I also have met Ustad Rais Khan who sang this song too..BUT?

poet is qateel shifai.......every body sings this nazm...from the best one was sung by abida parween in sibi mela during general zia era......when female singer sings this nazm create absolute impression on ur heart.....pankaj udhas version is also very melodious.......if some body have the recording from that sibi mela will be welcomed.....

This song was written by a Pakistani Poet "Qateel Shafai" ; sung by many pakistani singers like Mala etc..... & as happened with many pakistani songs, finally it was copied by indian singer.... But, if a person copied a song and give its credit or tribute to the its original writer & singer then it is admirable (as many new singers does it ) otherwise it is not good a practice ....
Only Anup could've sung it in a form that makes you hate the original version sung by ustads and ladies of that era. Sorry everybody, nobody sang this song better than Anup Jalota ...
