Hi there! Thank you for all the useful material you've been posting so far!
Maybe I missed the part where you state the correct letter for question number 4. You say "it's the one that has his name on it, daniel smythe", however, it could be answer a or с. thanks : )
Maybe I wasn't clear there, but the dialog also mentioned that it's black. Sorry for the late reply.
I think what helps the most is visualization. Pretend you are one of the characters or you are there at the occasion and the thing they are talking about concerns you. Visualize the environment around, washing machine, laundry, and people's faces and expressions and remember it like a movie or a story that happened to you. Also think about the problem/conversation don't just listen. Try to figure out how to solve the problem and how can you help them.
Yes, and remember to be detailed in your description
6 of 8! Almost

Does it involve less paraphrasing than that in IELTS Listening????
It's used extensively in both.
7 out of 8
Well done!
Hi Presto
I got them all right, thank you very much for the content. Does this practise test has the same difficulty level in average as the actual exam ?And the accent in this test is quite unusual for Celpip test, correct?
We try to make it similar to the test. In celpip, you will hear Canadian accent (which is almost identical to American accent, unless it's French Canadian)
I got 8/8!
Perfecto!
I got 7!!!
That's awesome!
Hi
I am confused with ques.5 it usually happens with me in this type of situation. Please help how to know which one is the best suitable answer.
Thank you
One type of the questions in CELPIP is listening to the details. Sometimes these questions give you answers that are all plausible, so one sure way to know the answer is to have the information written down in your notes. Guessing may not help much. To get better at this, you need to practice more and practice often. For that reason, we created this complete listening practice tests, prestoenglish.com/store/celpip-listening
Answer for question 4 should be c. Because, the color of the memory stick is black, it does have white sticker for putting the name.
That's correct. I didn't say it in the video, but it's option C. She said that's its black.
Got 7 out of 8 woo..
Great! Feel free to check out our website for more CELPIP materials and practice. You can also join our online 7-day training at www.PrestoEnglish.com

got 7 i confused with 3 rd question ,did they mentioned any where about where she forgot the memory stick ?
The question is when, not where. She mentioned it around the 3:02 mark.
I hear some background noise in the video ,will this happen in the real test as well ?
You won't need to worry about that. Visit our website to get a free CELPIP speaking guide, www.PrestoEnglish.com
I scored 8 out of 8. It's quite easy one.

why british accent? i thought in CELPIP only American english
Actually, CELPIP website says that they use Canadian English which is influenced by both American and British English. It won't hurt to get used to British English so we thought of using that here.
@@PrestoEnglish No at all, Single North American Accent it´s preety much clear on the Celpip Website. It could be easy for you, but for listener that english is not our firts language it is very different.
We'll post more listening practice in the future, thanks for the feedback.
You cannot use British accent in a CELPIP test because it makes a huge difference for a test taker
Section 1:
1.Go to lost and found office
2. Behind the student union
Section2
1.Earlier that day
2. C
3.Contact her if someone returns
Section 3
1.He didn't know how to operate the washing machine
2. Covered by his dirty pants
3.Contact the professor
What's the most difficult part of the listening module for you?
Following the directions
How is CELPIP than IELTS
Maybe this video we made can help you decide ua-cam.com/video/XnkvfZq_s3I/v-deo.html
I hate British accent That's why I try to start Celpip... most Canadian accent is North American's I don't know why they use it in Celpip.
You're right, most of the time, what you hear will be American accent. I believe there are a few times that the speaker as a slight French accent too, but I could be mistaken.
Why is this in a British accent
This is an older video. All of our newer listening practice sets feature only canadian/North American accent. Here's an example ua-cam.com/video/MvJiBZnb5sc/v-deo.html
Got 7/8
That's quite good. Visit our website for more practice, www.PrestoEnglish.com.

You should aim for the same result for the rest of the listening test.
@@PrestoEnglish I am really struggling while taking notes, and sometimes I can't even understand my own notes. That's the point where I am faltering.
That's when practice makes a difference. Journalists practice to take notes to record interviews and we should too :)
