Looks like it could be an awesome starting block for build projects! Also that looked like Welsh limestone in the background at the beginning Also that jam was soo good! 🔥
You forgot to mention - BOTH tones operate when in position 4.. (Bridge and mid pickup selected) BTW... Troubled Heart... first real song I learnt from your PDF (on my acoustic at 60yrs old)... Love it... aslo the vid you did to to accompany it.. you should plug it more :)
Nice guitar, nice gig-bag. But, the Squier (Indonesia-made, signed by Fender) represent a bit better deal, when it comes to dirt-cheap yet good Strat-like guitars. For 120 $, I just couldn't hope to find anything else in that quality range. "Fiesta red" color scheme, standard 3-pickup design, floating tremolo bridge and a synthetic strap with "Fender" logo.
Thanks for the great review. I've been looking at this guitar for some time, even the same color. I've seen both good and bad reviews on this model, but for the price and features it seems to be good. As a novice trying to learn the guitar I can't see investing in a one or two thousand dollar guitar. I really like that this model is a HSS and that it has a split coil. Why didn't changing out the tuners work? That's one mod I would consider doing. I also wondered about swapping out the pickups for Seymour Duncans and maybe switching out the pots for 500. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your honest review.
There's lots of mods you can do that are just a waste of money. I changed the machine heads and the ones I removed were probably better than the replacements. The replacement machine heads aren't as solid as the originals which are very solid and do the job well. I don't suggest doing any mods unless you have to. get a guitar and play it for a while, then judge for yourself what really needs doing.
@@donaldpruitt6787 No problem, thanks for the question. I haven't weighed it myself but according to the Donner web page it's 5KG. 😊😊 Have a great weekend
