I adore the Witch Sister deck. It was my favorite deck this year. Julia Jeffries' art is so evocative. I like her Hidden Realms tarot as well but this new one just speaks to me like nothing else. Now I have to get the Call of the Morrigan oracle.
I'm grateful you were able to make the list this year. I've purchased two of "Good Fortune Tarot" based on inclusion on the list. I've been really focused on indie decks for the last 2 years so this is coming as a welcome relief from (sometimes) disappointment from supporting a deck that doesn't turn out as I had hoped.
I love the Under the Oak so much!!! It made it to my top 10 too :) The Nightfall is gorgeous but my copy came with heaps of issues (cards always glued to each other...) and I trimmed it. It looks stunning without the borders but the glue issue still remains. Looking forward to see what you'll do, trim or no trim ;)

I just got the bee tarot for christmas, looking forward to working with it. love witch sisters even more than tarot of the hidden realm. I had never seen the star maiden tarot before but loooooove that artwork and put it on my wishlist.
I’m using Witch Sisters in January for a single card draw. I’m loving it! Reading the guidebook is essential but I also lean into my intuition for extra layers of meaning. For example Two of Trees had me thinking about when a branch divides into two. At that point, I have to make a choice as to which branch to follow. These choices lead me along a path of ever-branching possibilities and make up the complexity of my life’s story. But the image on the card of identical twins (like conjoined twins) led me further into the complexity of the choice being made at that moment. Each choice carries equal potential, credibility and value. This means that at the moment I choose one over the other, I face a loss. It’s a win-lose choice. This rambling of thoughts came from the renaming of the card from Two of Wands, to Two of Trees, the image on the card and the numerological meaning of Two as ‘choice’. I will be using this deck (and other witchy ones) while reading and working through Kelly-Ann Maddox’s book, Witch in Darkness. This promises to be an amazing journey.
That is a great way to interpret the Two of Trees and I feel that my approach to the deck will be similar to yours. Kelly-Ann's book is so fantastic too!

I got the Mystical Realm tarot because I wanted an art style match for her one of a kind sci-fi Mystic Martian Oracle - which is absolutely fantabulous lol I love sci-fi decks/spreads, but there are not many. The Mystic Realm tarot is wonderfully diverse & a great addition to my futuristic family of decks. edit: I also wish they were bigger like her Martian oracle. I also picked up the Journey to the Goddess oracle deck too. All her decks are great readers too.
I totally get that. I take them out of the boxes and put them in storage. I have an old canvas bag all of my boxes for the decks I am working with are. I used to throw the boxes out and then put the decks in pouches and then the book on my book shelf. That works too. :)

The universal folk tarot looks great 👍 guide books are 1# important to me in choosing any deck whether it’s Oracle or tarot so thanks again I’m totally going to look into getting that one or putting it on my list for sure and the Barbara Moore one looks good too I have her Alice tarot which I have to start using more actually. The star maiden was the main deck I used for inner child work in 2024! I’ve been using it recently as a bedtime deck. It’s beautiful

I’m a big fan of that one too! It was SOOOOOO hard to choose this year. Mass Market decks went HARD in 2024.

The only thing that puts me off buying Llewellyn deck is the big boxes. Other than that, I love everything else about them.
