Following the Barbel Qeens - Season Opening

June 16th is the long-awaited day in Uk that anglers have been looking forward to for three months. Packed with all our gear and kilograms of bait, we head to the River Trent, hoping to encounter the queen of barbel. The first few days are exceptionally challenging: the weather is uncooperative, and the river swells, bringing along branches and various debris. These obstacles persist for three nights, causing us to lose hope. But then, morning brings a breakthrough. Desperate, I decide to stay one more night, and it turns out to be the right choice - the views are breathtaking, and the fish are strong and beautiful.
