Dr. Bean statistics revealed by youtube are not reliable (likes, views, etc..) and shouldn't bother you, it is staggering the popularity of your social media platforms especially during this COVID 19 pandemic, the simplicity of your explanations, examples, and illustrations makes so easy the non-health professional like me understand easily and it is the greatest help and continues to be. Thanks dr. BEEN again for your education. Just a note for everyone that ALA is confusing as it can stand for 3 different fatty acids: Alpha linoleic acid ( omega 6), alpha linolenic acid (omega 3), and alpha lipoic acid. Here the ALA concerned is alpha linolenic acid. Pls do not confuse as the 3 fatty acids are VERY different.

In answer to your questions at the end, yes, yes, and yes. Where should we share the information so you can receive it?

Someone asked a question about Furin. Dr Klinghardt of Sofia Health in Seattle and Klinghardt Institute in Switzerland mentioned Andrographis as a herb that inactivates or interferes with furin which affects the attachment of the virus to the cell or entrance into the cell..not sure which.
He talked about this in a UA-cam video covid19 update in March or April.

Thank you for your videos. I hope you & your family are feeling better? I bought Fish oils in March thinking they may help my joints & hoping they'd be useful! Still on them. Lost over 2 stone in weight since lockdown began in UK but my cholesterol has gone up. I eat porridge every day and do eat fish. My current cod liver oil with fish oil only has 93mg of EPA & DHA. Seems I need a different capsule with a higher dose. I've not had Covid-19. 3 friends have died & my friends Brother from Wolverhampton died. I have some friends who are long haulers. Praying my family remain safe. I am continuing to shield & coping with hermit life!!

Supplements: New this year, my dailies are Vitamin C, D (including fish oil), some of the B's (benfotiamine, B6 P5P, methyl B12, B2), bovine liver fat, zinc acetate, and I just ordered some phosphatidylcholine because it's hard to get enough in the diet, even though my diet is nutrient-dense. I've been supplementing minerals for years. I'm also considering sphingolipid enhancement and am investigating how to do it. When I feel a cold coming on, my stack is zinc, NAC, berberine and pau d'arco.
Best wishes to our "sick been" and I hope she gets better soon.

@@magicnier211 Hi there . . . thanks for responding, if you really intended to comment 'to me' . . .
I will say that lecithin does fantastic things for my digestion (the choline helps with fat breakdown/absorption/metabolism - and helps get the bile flowing, something I need more of . . . however, sadly, the lecithin (high grade, organic, etc 'natural' granules/powder) builds up in my system pretty quickly, and even with small amounts also causes: INSOMNIA! (there is plenty of other phosphatides in Lecithin, and I believe that some are highly stimulating : (. ). SO . . . I attempt plain old 'choline bitartrate' supplement, and I do not have the same faith in it, as it now feels like taking a 'drug', not a sunflower seed ingredient . . .
Maybe you meant the comment for someone else, yes I take NAC, Zinc (w/quercetin, to help get it into cells), Mg, Selenium, Boron, (all in modest amounts) . . and others.
I recently am putting my toe in as to berberine, first test is digestion, of course.
      Have no experience w/pau d'arco . . .
      Take good care!

As I understand it, fish do not make Omega-3 Oil. The Omega-3 is made by krill, and moves up the food chain, and is ultimately stored in the fish. As a result, if you buy farmed fish, i.e. "Atlantic Salmon", it may not contain any Omega-3, depending on what they fed the fish. Similarly, depending on what cows and chickens are fed, sometimes there is Omega-3 in milk, or eggs.

I'm plant based and have puzzled a lot over the years as to why nature puts such a low amount of ALA in plant foods. It seems that even when it's abundant we only convert a small amount and that a normal size brain, although containing high amounts of Omega 3, only requires a small amount on a daily basis. Plus it has a long half life. Also, there used to be a lot more in the environment. But also, the body would have defaulted in the past to a more inflammatory state, optimum for fighting infectious disease. This was speculated years ago when looking at the high mortality rate in Glasgow. Average life expectancy was very low and it was thought that it could be a throw back to the tenements. Children were continually fighting infection and that continuous inflammatory state saved them at that part of their lives, but the consequences were very damaging later on. Plant based diets can get a much cleaner, purer source of ready made EPA and DHA from Algae oil capsules which are made without harm to the environment and are pollution free. However, it is thought that eating the parental oils, ALA and LA are better and let the body convert as required. This takes a bit more effort as the ratio of the 2 is important, but flooding the system with highly unstable preformed Omega 3 can be a problem. It's almost impossible to get fish oil that's not rancid and if you do, as soon as it enters the warm human body it's going to quickly oxidise...it's designed for very cold fish. Finally the worst offender for screwing up cell membranes is the junk supermarket vegetable oils that are such a staple part of our diets. They are so damaged during all the processing that their long shelf life acts on making our cell membranes impervious...like plastic. If you consume a lot of these as we routinely do, you can image what the state of our cell membranes must be like. So, like with a lot of dietary advice. Don't try and fix it by taking lots of supplements, rather remove the things in the diet that are getting in the way. Trade out junk oils for organic, cold pressed oils, or much better still, get the oils from the whole foods, with all the other benefits that brings. Many thanks again for your wonderful lectures!

What is moderate amounts Omega-3 ?
    Is this too much?
500 mg EPA makes my skin surface look like a ‘fine mesh’.
    It is a temporary effect.
500 mg DHA doesn’t do that.
My mother has a severe allergic reaction to shellfish, maybe crab.
I am older now: I had an MD tell me no shellfish.
I had anaphylactic shock and stage Ii kidney failure, in 1972, from medical dye for a contraindicated BSP test I did not need. I was in hospital for three 24 hour urine collections. Fortunately, my liver handled all but the smallest fraction I was told.
    Iodine?
No one here can tell me.
Is the skin response to 500 mg EPA an early warning?
Is krill a bad idea for me?
    Is there something else?

I have taken Co q 10, quercetin, NAC, vit d, vit k2, for a few years and continue those when I added vit C and zinc when I was forming my protection against Covid19. In a NIH article about NAC it was mentioned that NAC chelates zinc and helps its removal from the body! Have I been putting it in and removing it before the Quercetin can help it get into my cells the past 5 months? Have you ever heard of this? I really couldnt find anything else stating this.
