I’ve watched what feels like a zillion videos on how to install a fence and this one has an idea worth 10x all the other ones. Use 8 x 4s from post to post to do the measuring for you! It stabilizes the post, and makes sure it’s in the perfect position! THAT IS GENIUS!!!! A thousand upvotes!! And thank you for helping me with putting up my first fence 😊
Most codes require that the smooth side face the neighbors. That also prevents kids or whoever from using the cross boards as a ladder to peer over it.
you have the inside on the outside and the outside on the inside, this is good for thieves and defeats the purpose of a privacy fence and gives and gives access to peeping toms
Thank you for this video. I have the issue of placing wooden post next to the metal, existing ones. Can you explain how you were able to install the wooden post next to the metal ones; or is there a video you have/ can share? Thanks you!
@@CreativeProcessDIY very low db level.. about half what it should be.. I'm on a pc with 100 watt (rms) and Cerwin Vega floor speakers (bass reflex, with tweeter, mid, 12 inch woofer.. 4 ohm) normally 12 to 25 'level' on amp volume for yt covers most vids, but 40 for this one still wasn't high enough) All this info is for a reference point.. People on phones may be getting better results idk..

Glad it was helpful!
Well that should stop the zombies.😁,nice job
Ha! ... unfortunately the Zombies around here would drive their cars and trucks through a wood fence just to see what’s on the other side.
