This is true because they settled in my neighborhood but also that wasn’t the only one that came down bout six or seven factions of Chicago gangs came down as well as California,but the Chicago gangs banged hard and yes got into shit but when they went to prison some got recruited in prison gangs even if there were beef there’s always a rival faction that will recruit you ,some became Christian in jail with lengthy sentences,others became orejones (tango)

Dip squares the Ambrose would smoke a lot. I have cousins that were from Throop St. I was 26 back then. I used to go to 18th st and hang out with them. The crazy thing is i also had cousins that were Latin Counts and I would go over to Racine and Allport and hang there also. My family wer3 old Spartans and Rampants.

I don't know about San Antonio but they came down to Dallas and Houston my uncle is Louie limas my grandmother left Chicago and came to Dallas and my other uncles came down here

I grew up with Fabian and Curly Cano on the South Side of Chicago, 67th & Artesian/63rd & Francisco. They moved to San Antonio in the early 90's and started a branch down there. Curly has since been released and living a peaceful life.

Phabe Dawg (Fabian Cano) and Curly (Danny Cano) had the city of San Antonio shook. I grew up with the Cano brothers and their original Outfit in the early to mid 90's. Before the Cano brothers showed, there was a gang called Chicago Gangsters which consisted of several gangs from Chicago. Chicago Gangsters were made up of 2wo 1nes, Deuces, Bishop Counts, 2wo 6ix, Imperial Gangsters and Ambrose. 2wo 6ix and Ambrose ended up expanding their numbers and broke away from the CG's, which caused the CG's to defect. After the AA's branched off from the CG's, the AA's made a name for themselves by taking on all the big and major gangs of each side of San Antonio.The AA's converted, or made the (South East) Vega Klik flip AA's, and made the AA's double in their numbers, and become more violent and powerful. After Curly and Digger got locked up for a convoy shooting against the Klik, I lost touch with the AA's.To this day, it amazes me to see fresh new tags of the Almighty Ambrose. Amor! 🔷❤

I'm originally from San Anto and banged heavy in the 90's. I vividly remember having beef w/ 2 6 and a loose alliance with different sets of the Ambrose. People can talk all the mess they want but at one point in time the Ambrose were one of the most hated in San Anto, they did their thing and stood their ground in a city heavily King ( Latin, WSV etc..) influenced.
Thank you for another confirmation of that. Yes, some people (I think mostly youngsters) don't always know the history of local gangs. I think it is important we learn from the past to create better futures.

Back in the day it was different yu had blue circle n black circle...kinda like people n folks but blue circle were allies n black circle were allies. Ambrose and bc and damage and two six and vlb ...alot of others made up the blue circle, Puro Ocho, STL, different bloods , CA13 just alot of random gangs made up the black xircle. Taggers kinda came and started getting people from everywhere n the gang bangin slowed on that type of combined bangin.

Im currently in San Antonio but originally from Elgin Ill and when I got to San Antonio 1992 I hung out with a gang known as the KLIK and saw tons of Ambrose graffitti all over San Anrtonio but never ran into an Ambro , I heard of a dude named Curley that was an Ambro and they started a klik in SA of Chicago gangs but didnt last .
Yea curly was a curly boy Ambro but there was alot of sets of ambrose in san Antonio. Presa boys , denver street gangstas, wild side ambrose...there were alot. Theres still alot but they had a green light in the 90s for refusin to pay taxes and most stopped claiming ambrose.
