When Sachin batted for India, the whole country was in front of TV, and there was prayers in every corner, and his batting, was absolutely beautiful as a poem. I think no other cricketer can bring back that feeling, even if others break his records.

Well, virat is of my age, just about 6 months elder, I just cannot put to words what sachin sir meant to us, while growing up, he was beyond everything and anything. I can empathize what virat feels of sachin, sir. It's surreal. Virat is lucky to have met and played with someone who has been an icon for his entire generation. Respect 🙏🙏
You may disagree with his timidness off the field. His silence about controversial events during his career. His failure as a captain. But you can't disagree about his contribution to the sport of cricket and for making more than a billion people to believe in themselves. His rise was India's rise. Historians will look back and mention unanimously that his career played a pivotal role in driving India to becoming one of the superpowers of the 21st century.
But tbf Sachin's failure as Captain was mostly the fault of the Board and his own teammates. When Sachin took over Captaincy in 1996-97, most of the Indian players such as Azharuddin, Sidhu, Jadeja, Venkatesh Prasad were in career slump and Azharuddin, Sidu & Jadeja were involved in a full blown match fixing. Other players such as Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid were very young and erratic. More imp in Sachin's Captaincy was plagued by thrown matches such as Sahara Cup 1996, Titan Cup 1996, Singer World Series 1996, Independence Cup 1997, Asia Cup 1997 etc. Azharuddin and Jadeja reportedly threw a number of crucial matches. In fact the entire SA tour of 1996/97 and Australian tour of 1999/00 was fixed. Things came to a flashpoint in the SA tour of Ind in 1999/00 when Hansie Cronje confessed his involvement in Match Fixing. Another imp reason was the constant tinkering by BCCI wrt team selection and management. Barring Sachin, Rahul & Ganguly most players in 90s were injury prone. This was especially problematic when India toured West Indies in 1996/97.
What ppl often fail to realize that the success of Azharuddin as a Captain was chiefly a result of Sachin's performance. When Sachin played well, India won the match. In the 90s Sachin was literally the backbone of the team. When Sourav Ganguly became Captain, his Success was also the result of Sachin's batting. Although by this time there were other proven Batters like Dravid, Sehwag, Yuvaraj, Gambhir and Bowlers like Nehra, Bhajji, Balaji & Agarkar. Even Sourav himself was an excellent Batsman.
Anyone can break Sachin's record, but no one can become as next Sachin. Those are the days where we watch cricket only for Sachin and turn off when he gets out.
Hey Graham I love all your episodes !! Your style, your personality, your willingness to listen, your intelligent questions, your humbleness and your comforting connection with the guests makes all yours episodes the best ones. Awesome work man ❤️❤️❤️
It's hard to express what has happened in the past in words. But when Sachin was saying as he was wiping his tears, I also did watching his emotional words. He has given so much to the sport and the expressions are making everyone in tears. Two genius cricketers in Indian cricket from those anyone can get the motivation. Thank You Gentlemen!
Father's make world. See how much both Tendulkar and Virat keep talking about their father is something we all have to learn and bring up our children for better world
I watched cricket just to watch Sachin bat. He was the biggest thing for me growing up. However, if you think with absolute rationality, the reason why Sachin became such an icon, a phenomenon and an emotion to all of us was thanks to the pathetic and inconsistent overall performance of the Indian team throughout the 90s. Sachin became the only consistent performer and stood out mighty impressively amongst the ruins. Despite being a part time bowler, he even won matches with his bowling efforts which just escalated him to a divine status! So while he would make the list of all time greats under any team, I doubt he would have enjoyed such an elevated status had he been part of today's very successful Indian team or even the Australian or SA teams during their heyday. Just an observation.
It's sad to see that people compare these two. As much as I think that SACHIN is the Goat and shouldn't be compared to others, it's better to respect them both and feel proud they represent our country.
Sachin look like his 16yr old face xactly...luvvv u master blaster for giving me a enjoyfull childhood...2003 wc ind vs pak sachin's innings was vry entertaining..and 1998 shajha cup also..and and blasting to shane warne alsoooooo🤣😂😂
when I see these 2 greats, I always think of Harsha Bhogle's video.. " Sachin got out in his last innings, and the new batsman walked in, none other than Virat. He hit the first ball for a beautiful boundary and Harsha said to himself "the baton has been passed".
As a 90 kid I grew watching Sachin playing on the field. And I didn’t even realised for even 1 match that he played casually. He played every match enthusiastically. Contributed both with bat and bowl. And let me tell this generation kids that no one I repeat no one dared whether it is selection committee or Captain of the team to make him sit on the bench without asking him. He had such an aura during his career and people used to watch cricket just for Sachin ❤️
See, when it comes to Sachin it is really not just about Cricket but the way he carried himself as an Icon of this country for a long time. He proved that if you got the real talent and hunger in you to succeed, success will follow you rather than you chasing it. Sachin is a real role model beyond imagination

If Sachin was there, there was hope. There was some Godly attachment with him. After he retired, my interest towards cricket is almost reduced by 50% or even more..!!!
Wow... Same here!
Same here
Sachin is an emotion❤️ also people who says virat is egoistic, arrogant dont see his humbleness towards senior players ! Actually this is how generally every delhi boy mindset is he gives his best on the field and being aggressive but outside the field he is very humble and fun guy
the god of cricket
What we all should learn from him is the dedication and hard work he has put in to achieve what he had aimed to achieve
Never listen to haters and keep working towards your goal
My idol🙏
'Imagine for 25 years there's one name thats been constant'. The line go so much in it and same goes to Virat as well!
Sachin Tendulkar u will always be missed on the field.... A reason to why I started watching cricket .... Hats off Sachin 🙏🏼
Personally as a kid who grew up in the 90s, sachin is sacred. He is something beyond cricket. I stopped following cricket after 2013 so religiously.
I dont think world would ever see a man like tendulkar on the field.
He was humble, never disrespect anyone ever, never saw him abusing swearing anyone no matter what the situation is, never been into any scandal.
You will see Lara, Gilchrist, Ponting, Inzamam, Kohli, Kallis, Dravid into ugly argument on field with the bowlers but we never saw Sachin doing any ugly act.
He was a class and he has his own league !!!
No one could ever match his character!
Personality, one in billion. Sachin Sachin
They are like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson of cricket 😭❤️🙏
@Sam Yaa he's referring to both of them! Sachin do admi kaise ho sakta hai🤯🙄
@Sam Yaa kya ho gaya😟
True 🇮🇳🇮🇳
Both could not become Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali...Mike Tyson is legendary athlete
@@deepakjena3628 So is Sachin
The way SACHIN talks about Virat and vice versa touches my heart and brings a smile on my face ♥.
Sachin don't make me cry again.
Same Feeling Buddy.... Can totally relate
Sachin is Sachin for a reason. Check out the way he's so humble when he talks about Virat.
He doesn't make the mistake of sounding patronising while praising Virat.
I'm amazed not only at Sachin 's talent and stature but also at his maturity....
What a gem for India 👍❤🇮🇳

Sachin revolutionised Indian cricket. He is the main man behind cricket's widespread popularity in India and Indians around the globe.
Virat took the mantle beautifully and is the modern icon of World Cricket. India is lucky to have two such legends of the game.
Graham is one of the greatest interviewer of all time when it comes to framing questions and knowledge and guests around the globe. Truly a difficult task to do so with such class.
Thank you so much, Aumkar! - DF

We couldn't have asked for any more. Sachin sir, not just an inspiration to Indian Cricket, but for the world cricket. So humble and down to earth. No wonder he is known as the God of cricket. I'm happy that I was born in his ERA. ❤❤❤🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🫡🫡🫡
this video brought tears in my eyes , this tells u about how great sachin sir is , and our virat knows how to give respect to greats , he might look arrogant on the field but he is truly humble and a super human who enjoys his teammate's success more than them and is ready to give everything for his team , god bless you both❤❤
When Sachin batted for India, the whole country was in front of TV, and there was prayers in every corner, and his batting, was absolutely beautiful as a poem. I think no other cricketer can bring back that feeling, even if others break his records.
Kohli 😍😍
Something which ll never change in any great personalities is their gesture to another ..
Salute both legends💌
Sachin sir ...always gentle in field & off the field...! Virat though aggressive in field but a great person off the field..! Lots of love to both❤
Sachin talking about Virat is like Mohammed Ali talking about Mike Tyson, super wholesome!!!

Sachin's conduct on or off the field, his passion towards game is footpath to younger generation.
I'm die hard Virat Fan but there won't be other Sachin Tendulkar man. He was just perfect like any other god. He made india believe that they can win when nobody used think about winning!
Man mam just tears..what a beautiful gesture by Virat and more to that what a wonderful reciprocation by Sachin.... The greatness of Indian cricket is there we see.. Man I love this game sooo much more and hope 1.3 billions Indians do❤️❤️❤️❤️ with love ❤️ cheers
Sachin tedlukar how he was sitting showcase his personality, humility❤
Awesome Virat to offer his most precious gift. Awesome Sachin to return Virat's most precious gift, and honor later's late dad in kind. This is what legends are made of.

Sachin is an emotion we never forget! You just brought tears in our eyes after seeing this video! Thanks
the way Virat talks about Sachin,it's what all of us felt.
Respect 🙏🙏
Sachin and virat both legend ❤️
So many players became popular because of Cricket but Cricket became popular because of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar
U talking abt Sachin or Kohli?
@@aakashsaini2184 Sachin.
Sachin
Awesome work man ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! - DF
Both the guy are priceless. Not only bcoz of there game, but because of there thinking ability. How rich there mind is.
Wow… it’s amazing to hear these legends talk. Love from Canada
U r indian..
From Pakistan but have to respect and admire genius, what a player. Legend. Heck, what a human being.
I was at this match and am lucky to be in the wnkhede stadium to see him off. He is the best
Sachin got out in his last innings, and the new batsman walked in, none other than Virat. He hit the first ball for a beautiful boundary and Harsha said to himself "the baton has been passed".
Hopefully Gill will do the same after Virat or even now
