I love old commercials. There's just something about it that makes it better compared to ones made today.

Yeah it sounds good old
i have the same feeling as you do
I love the look of sheer joy on the mom's face when she finds out that yes they can dump more ketchup on her shitty fast food hamburger
likely it was fairly ok food back then.
larks tongues ! hahaha well placed !
@KingCrimson82 tbh with you In the Wake of Poseidon is my favorite but the Lark's Tongues cover is cooler yknow?
Back in the day fast food was actually decent
I love how they remake jingles from the vintage days. The first commercial was cute.
Why would you love it? The remake is shitty.
You love? You love a commercial jingle? Truly the consumer generation
@@boogietunt6862 Yet even the "consumer generation" isn't stupid enough to consume your bs. Stop complaining over a random person you don't even know LIKING A COMMERCIAL JINGLE. Don’t worry, that isn’t the only commercial and they actually have the entire song.

@@Honey56595 Dude, it's pee quality, and earrape audio! How can you like it?!?!?!??!!? 🤔
@@GamingPlayz804 I don't care about the quality of the commercial and my ears aren't sensitive to loud sounds, and plus I just liked the song more in the old one
as someone born in 3031 I can agree
I cant believe they actually brought back the vintage jingle in a new way.
I can't help but laugh at when the modern one starts playing
Same how can you not lmao
Bro this fr so catchy and funny I was just singing it randomly through the day
the "you rule" at the end is so funny
The original makes it look so much like crap.
Grooming minors whopper whopper
This is why I love older commercials. Their jingles are so melodic compared to today's commercials.
I agree
It's the same melody you troglodyte
Music before DAWs.
I remember the indiana jones coke commercial being the closest I got to wanting to drunk diet coke
Burger King isn’t a good example of this
The old one felt really natural, like it was a daily thing to burst into song
The new one sounds like it was recorded in a school bathroom at break time
The 70’s slaps
I never knew about the old version until now! That is so cool!
I only found out about the old one because I was singing “bk, have it your way” and my mom asked me how I knew about that commercial and I told her that there were all these new Burger King commercials but she told me that it was a really old song
I just found the old version.
Nah, the new version is waaaayyyy better.
I mean, it’s from 1974
Old one: Happy, actually makes me wanna go to BK
New one: *W H O P P E R*
HOLY CRAP LOOK AT THE LIKES
100% correct
be gay have it ur way
are you seizing the day with all of those likes?
The new one is stronger as it's especially made to enter your head so you keep thinking about BK
Old BK ad: "We don't care about your preferences, just as long as you're happy with the product."
New BK ad: "PLEEEEEASSEEE BUY OUR BURGER oh and you choose whatever you want i guess."
The old version is kinda catchy no cap
“Can I have 1 whopper with no pickles and no lettuce?”
“No sir.”
Edit: I know that he said “do I have to wait long” I was just trying to be funny
"Can I have a Whopper with extra cheese?"
"Sir, this is a Wendy's!"
"Can I have all the toppings?"
"Sure."
*gets none of them*
To be fair, he asked if he would have to wait long 🤷♂️
Well to be fair, having custom orders like that was unheard of at that time. Any other restaurant would have said "no sir". Burger King really took the step forward for us.
Add ends
So that's why the new ad has that 70s aesthetic (font, transition, colors, and the model's attire)
Yea but BK also went back to it's OG branding recently. You can see that in their "new" logo
@@MrCelroy The 70s ad also has a black version
There is a different between the font from the remake logo and the original. The original font had more of a groovy look while the remake reused the font from the 1999 logo.
@@retroryan838Nope, they actually didn't use the font from the 1999 logo. The logo font is a readjusted version of the original to make it more square-ish and less "imperfect".
The commercial itsellf uses a 70s styled font as well. I really like how they made a 70s branding look modern tbf.

Mate, it’s a commercial, they are going to make them look good
I’m gonna cry cause the old one is great
The 70's jingle is kinda nostalgic and ahead of it's time lol.
Both. Both is good.
I actually had no clue Have It Your Way was BK’s motto.
That was their motto because if you went to some place like McDonald's, they'd just say, "oh sorry well we don't do that here." That was why it was seen as so much better to go to Burger King in those years.
new one old is cool
How long have you been on this fucking earth
@@theslaya1576 I went to some ratched ahh McDonalds close to the outback and they had these terminals where you could choose each ingredient. I used it and get a burger with no tomato on it even though I didn't take out the tomato. When I ask for my tomato slice the worker dead ahh tells me that I didn't order tomato as if I hadn't just gone through a list of every ingredient before finishing my order. Even if there was some mistake with their computer can't he just give me a damn tomato slice? I'm not asking for a new burger. I got of the road after driving for hours, finally coming by this place to eat wich wasn't even busy. Anyway I didn't particular like McDonalds to begin with and the burger sucked even when I got my tomato slice. It was my last time going to McDonalds.

The old version is so frolicky and almost beautiful
Then the new one starts playing and I gotta burst in laughter
It’s so sad thou the old version, because the chorus is so good.
People at school when they hear the new whopper ad:
*I WANNA BECOME A WHOPPER*
the old one is very wholesome,
while the new one is literally just a great meme song that exists.
The old version just screams better, it just has more of a charm to it to see a family get excited to eat some grub at BK while still having that "Have It Your Way" song. Plus, the woman listening to their orders while still singing that jingle just was that nice extra detail that beats the new version.

Ahhh i love the 1973 my favourite just sounds cool, and groovy wish music and everything in general was like that.
The old one puts a tear in my eye, it’s so heartwarming. Why can’t people be like that anymore?
I wish humans could get along again
They weren't like that back then either, that was just an ad

I personally like both of them. The old one is very wholesome because of how nice the workers are and it just feels good. The new one is actually catchy, sure the dude is just saying whopper a hundred times, but I personally think it’s still cool.
It helps when someone makes a stronger better faster remix with it.
I agree.
The old one is pretty much burger king

The old version makes the new version sound like some bumpkin they picked up on the street
I love how the new tune is kinda based on the old one
0:36 i love this sound ❤
Finally someone recognizes the old one 😭
I can't help but notice that the modern burger king ad says something that is so easy to notice but many don't even hear it
The thing i love about BK Ads is that the melody used at 0:22 is the same used at the new commercial at 0:59
Literally one of the best easter eggs in a commercial
If it wasn't for this I wouldn't have realized they made the new ad in tune with the old one. That gave me chills when I started recognizing the tunes on the old one towards the end of it.
Is it just me or do the old fast food commercials make them look so heartwarming? Like the old McDonalds commercials and the old Burger King commercial?
The old ad got the point straight and was so nice new ones are so fast
Both are different, but both are still certified bangers
Wow, I didn’t know the new commercial were inspired by the originals.
Maybe that’s why there becoming so iconic.
The old employee headwear is the most impressive thing in either of these ads ! I witnessed it first hand 🤣
The old Burger King ad: have it your way!!!
The new Burger King ad: WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER!!!
I love the orchestration and sweetness of the old music, and I didn't grow up with it.
Both versions are good. The older version has more dialogue and the lyrics are catchier, and the newer version sounds like they just took anyone to sing the song which makes it sound funny, also it’s upbeat and the audio sounds cleaner. I understand why they wanted to recreate it.
An old Burger King commercial looks like a VHS horror
The old ad must be so pissed off that it has become this

Whopper whopper whopper whopper
Evrything for some whopper
I wouldn't mind longer commercials if they were this wholesome
i find it really interesting that the values back in the day are so different from now. like commercials back then usually focused on family ( i.e: the family going inside of the burger king together ) because the norm back then was that you had to have a complete nuclear family to be accepted in society's eyes. this also comes with the husband having more "control" over the decisions the family makes ( i.e: the being the one to initially speak for the family while giving orders ). today commercials are more focused on trying to grab your attention ( which burger king does by creating this catchy jingle ) and make the food look as appetizing as it can be ( compare the burgers shown in the first ad vs the one in the second. while the burger in the old ad still looks pretty well its more focused on the actual "story" of the commercial than with the newer one being focused on how well they can make the burger look (( and the song obviously )) ). just something neat i noticed

That “old commercial” has the new logo 💀💀💀
they brought back the old logo
when it cuts to the new commercial it's like seeing an old friend
Retro advertisments are a treasure that need to be preserved.
The old one is more happier in the new one is more depressing
I think the new one makes BK actually look good, I mean that patty looks so juicy, and the old one is a bit longer, it could be better if it got straight to the point, but it probably took a long time to make the old one, so i’m not gonna be picky
The entire old commercial was the point. This was back when McDonald's assembled and packaged entire burgers well before you entered the place so they could hand them to you the instant you ordered; additions or subtractions from the standard version meant you were either outright denied or asked to step aside from the line and wait for a whole new burger to be made.
People have different time spans nowadays, back then things used to be longer.
Emphasis on *looking good*
Back then having it your way was new, it had to be advertised.
McDonalds didn't let you pick what you wanted on a burger, it just was what it was.
I like that you don’t want to be picky, I guess you don’t want it your way at BK
The old one is heartwarming
The new one is catchy
There's a certain charm in the old ones
