They always played this version on the radio here in Canada, to the point that when revisiting Karma I was like “wait, I though this sampled Superstition??” Lol
I remember discovering this version Spring 05. Mash ups are either awesome or epic fail this one just fits perfect like it was made for the song. I just can’t in my head believe it was 16 yrs ago omg where does time go?!
I use to here this version on the radio. And then they started only playing the original version. I thought the original was an unpluged version and this was the orginal. haha. This blows away the original version. It doesn't get any funkier than this.
I hope Stevie loves this as much as Alicia apparently did, according to the comments below. They are two of my favorite musicians, and this is insanely awesome!
Even though I usually hate whoever dares in mixing the undeniable genius of His Majesty Stevie Wonder with some today-stupid-faint-pop songs.... well... I'm lovin' it! Amazing job! Go on!
I get it why people say they would prefer original or remix from which ever they've heard first To me I just focus on the creativity of what ever might be thrillingly good to listen to
I don't mind the original version of this Alicia keys song But mixing the lyrics in with this Stevie wonder classic suits it so well Haters who rather it the way it was originally made can go to hell
Karma is in natural minor & superstion in more of a blues. That's why sometimes the horn parts are playing a major third over a minor chord. I find the song has more funk that way though, and that's never a bad thing.
Which one was the one where both Alicia and Stevie are singin together in the same song? I heard it on a radio broadcast once. This one just has Alicia singing.
Never released commercially - only promoe'd - Alicia loved it, but labels couldn't agree. The mash up was done by Mark Vidler commissioned by Jamie Topham. xxDenadaTVxx
Super HOTTTT! I just discover this song! I can’t believe it’s Alicia keys.

This smokes!! Why so few views?
Because not many people actually like good music ... Most of them like shit commercial bolox with JB in it ;-)
I've come back to this hundreds of times in just the last year - I wish I could "Like" it again every time.
Never released commercially - only promoe'd - Alicia loved it, but labels couldn't agree. The mash up was done by Mark Vidler commissioned by Jamie Topham.
