I re-watch Amélie movie every 4 or 5 years, there are always things I have forgotten in between BUT NOT this scene (as it is my favorite), and also the Bretodeaus’s box scene (which always reminds me of my childhood)

It's quite usual in Paris and other french cities. It's usually in the morning when shop owners clean the pavement in front of their shop, and water running down the street like that.
