Good to know I'll always be a part of TJ's memories 😭
😅🥺🥺
New memories at the league when we get em back for ya 💪🏼
Tommy Jones is a legend and loved his advice
He's got some great advice!
@@TheHouseBowlingabsolutely and he's a cool man that I meet. Glad u get to bowl with him
We need more cameo appearances like this! Great stuff!
This interview and the one with Belmo are pure gold. Absolutely loved them.
I really cannot think of any other bowler who could be more informative and knowledgable. A genuine legend. There are very few people at this level. Thank you Tommy and Packy. I loved every second of this video. Please make more videos together.
We have a couple more coming up these next few weeks!
I love this series of interviewing HOF players, the wisdom we can glean from 10 mins with them is inspirational. Thank you Packy for the amazing content. Much love. Keep it up.
Definitely don't give up when you are off your game. Bowled my first PBA Regional this weekend and was -97 after 2. Games 3-5 were better but nothing over 190. Game 6 made a ball change and went 247, 203 (1 split) , 194 (2 splits). Just keep grinding and be willing to try something if nothing is working. Finding something when you are struggling is a huge confidence booster.
I bowled 8 regionals before my first cash and I got a title. But it took a lot of work and a lot of changing my game. It is so worth it for the results you will see. Keep bowling and keep learning. You will get it and don't give up
@@bowlnow824 I'm not giving up, but I'm old for today's game. I get to start doing PBA50 events next month. But I'm still going to mix in some regular regionals. Bowling with and watching the younger bowlers is fun.
I lived in SC for a few years and got to see TJ bowl as well as a couple other pros, in my youth I had aspirations of making it on the tour and really looked up to TJ, such a legend. Sadly my tour dreams never became a reality but I'm just getting back into the sport and seeing interviews like this is really awesome and motivates me to get back out there.
Just wow! "Pressure is a privilege". I never thought of it that way. That definitely changes how I look at pressure. Thanks Packy and Tommy.
"Pressure is a privilege" That's deep stuff. But, you earned that pressure! Enjoy it and make the most of it!
Keep doing these. The legends you've talked to have dropped gems. Mental advice that will NEVER go away.
This is a great video. Thanks for the honesty in your answers.😊
Packy I am loving these Q/A games. good stuff!
Thanks! Who would you like to see on here next!
@@TheHouseBowling Darren for sure lol. Honestly, everyone. Anyone willing to take the time with you, just go right down the list.
Great show! Thanks Packy and Tommy.
Packy This one of the best videos you have made keep them coming. So informative. Always thought Tommy was quiet and reserved. He a book of information and inspiration
Love this great advice I have gone from from a 165 in League to a 195 ,Just stop being my worst enemy, Tommy Jones thank you for sharing all the great , experience you have Had in bowling, please keep the Great videos coming ,
I saw myself in the background haha I was bowling a few lanes over while y’all were making the video.
Much Love TJ!!! thanks for the vid Packy!!!! 💯💯💯💯
Excellent video title, sign of a true YTer with years to come on this platform. Cheers, Pack
EXCELLENT SHOW‼️‼️‼️
Very informative.
Thanks
My guy TJ 👏🏾🤙🏾💪🏾He definitely knows what he’s talking about 💯
Thoroughly enjoy these chats with the legends of the game. Hope to see more of these as allowed.
Outstanding! That was excellent . I love these type videos , I learn a ton with every upload . Thank you !
Grew up watching guys like Tommy that made me love bowling. Great video guys!
Thanks!
This was so cool to watch! I would love to see you do one of these with Pete Weber!
That would be awesome!
I needed this video. I bowled in a tournament at a house in the middle of nowhere yesterday. All wood lanes and wood approach. I had never bowled on wood lanes before. Long story short I bowled the worst I’ve bowled that I can recall in my adult career. It made me want to actually never bowl again. But like tommy said I learned a lot on what not to do when the mini tour stops there next year. Thanks for that.
TJ is a class act. I've loved watching him throughout my life and truly could see both his passion to win but his love for the sport overall. It's much like you Packy. We are both Kansans but haven't met, but I love what you are doing for the sport, love what you're doing to represent us in the Midwest, and just love how you are as a professional bowler. I believed I could be that good, had several reality checks, and am now just trying my best to revamp my game to be the best I CAN be, not what you guys are BUILT for! Keep kicking ass in all ways!
I love this kind of content.
Thank you Packy and Tommy
Fantastic video, many thanks to Tommy and Packy.
Getting past the "stick points " , is such good advice! Changes the game from frustration to delayed gratification!
I'm 54 and and started bowling at 11. I made my first tournament final ever this weekend. Sweat was pouring off me and I had four splits in the final to get blown out. I didn't think of the pressure as a privilege at the time but it sure feels good later. Hopefully, I will appreciate the privilege more again some day :)
Absolutely! Keep working hard and youll keep making more finals!
This video by far, is the best! Tommy Jones was very informative. Panky, great questions.
Thank you for "showing" everyone this side of Tommy Jones. He is a great guy, bowler and mentor for bowlers. Awesome advice and kudos to you Packy...and your folks who help...on another great video.
This is such a fantastic video! From all of the bowling tips to showing just how much fun this sport can be. All bowlers regardless of their average, should watch this video. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks Peter!
Great video guys, good information
Im a lefty bowler and ive been watching your videos and learning to do two hands and I enjoy bowling and im a big fan of you packy and becoming a two handed bowler im loving it so much
Thank you Packy for this. I have been a closet Tommy Jones fan since I first saw him on TV back in the day. I won't admit it being a lefty but yeah I like Tommy Jones especially his hit song "She's a Lady" LOL!!! Seriously though this series of videos talking with legends is brilliant! More please.
Packy is a Sox fan? No wonder I love his content. Much love from Boston.
🔴🧦
I loved your answer to the "getting over the hump" question.
In a similar video to this, Birgit Noreiks was talking about her training and mentioned the same thing. That she didn't just want to be excellent at one thing and ignore the rest, but at least be competitive in all the playstyles without ignoring what she's best at.
And it served the both of you well. 💪
Need more vids like this packy
Super interview, Packy! This and the Belmo both outshine 'pro' interviews by virtue of real questions with heartfelt replies as opposed to the stock-in-trade with vanilla answer or controversy-of-the-moment ones that force the interviewee to choose a side to an issue (s)he doesn't want to talk about, neither of which actually interview the person. Nice job; good insight.
Thanks! Trying to bring you something a little different and new!
I loved this video and I learned a lot, I'm a big fan of Tommy Jones and Packey.
These are always great videos.
This is a great video love the banter
Wonderful video -- perhaps the best one you've put out yet. Keep it up.
This video helps so much i’ve been bowling for a solid 7-8 months recently joined a mixed league near me and been feeling a little stuck on my improvement till now
Tommy Jones is a class act. Thanks for coming on youtube for us fans!
Excellent advice from both of you,, loved it .
😂😂 ahhh..he killed me with the Bo Burton comment. He's absolutely right though. Literally all we had, while watching the great Earl Anthony do his thing. That was awesome. Appreciate the laugh Mr. Jones! 🤟✌👍👏👏
He’s hilarious lol
Related to that Bo Burton comment reference so much considering I grew up in the same era. I did the same thing.
These are awesome videos. Definitely do more of these if possible.
Tommy's smack talk is the absolute best. Nice way to end it. lol
Good choice with Tommy Jones. Great conversation and questions. 👍👍👍
Im a huge Darren Tang fan but Tommy’s 300 at the Hall of Fame classic was absolutely legendary. I always rewatch it when it pops up on my recommended feed
That run he made was unbelievable!
I met Tommy many years ago such a great guy gave me some great advice and helped my game so much
I agree with the others. This is an incredible series. It gives us access to thoughts and conversations we wouldn’t otherwise have. Thanks Packy!
Thanks!! Who would you like to me have on next time I do one of these?
Love this content! Thank you Packy and TJ!
i love when other pba pros ccome on the channel you should do it more often! bagger video
Awesome video. I love hearing this kind of things. My coach in high-school wanted me to go pro, I ended up chosing to focus in getting an engineering degree but always wondered what it would have been like going a different route. It's been cool seeing the other side of pro bowling besides the show on TV
コンサルタントち
Loved the smack talk at the end lol
Fun video. Loved it.
2 of some of my favorite bowlers. I really enjoy watching that. You both always seems very happy and kind persons :)
great video i really enjoyed it
These videos are fantastic i hope you can get more people to join on the channel to donthe q and a
Great video Packy and Tommy, very informative answers for those in all areas of their bowling game.
I seen Tommy at junior gold last year. Last day two lanes over was a guy he was coaching. I didn’t meet him but it was really cool to see him in person
He’s even better after ya go and talk to him!
Great Vid. TJ is a PBA legend through and through man. Have to soak in everything that guy says.
I love Tommy Jones. And his personality is fantastic I grew up watching him glad to see him on channel
He’s hilarious! One of the best guys out there!
Tommy Jones is one of the best of all time hands down! I really enjoyed this, Packy I think you're only getting better and better. You need to teach TJ to celebrate 😂
OMG, I'm so glad to hear a pro with the same pet peeve I have! I'm not saying you have to rush, but when you are up be ready to bowl! I left a league team that I had been on for years because we had 1 teammate that wouldn't get out of his chair when he was up. He is the nicest guy and we are still friends, but I couldn't take bowling with him.
That drives me up the wall crazy too lol
This one is an absolute treasure chest of information. Going to make sure my kids watch this. Here's a question/suggestion for you Packy. Having the guys that bowl on tour is a ton of great information. Can you get one of the ball reps that we see you guys go talk to during the match? I'd love to hear what they say and what they're seeing during a tour stop.
Nobody teach Tommy the internet or we may release the biggest troll ever!
Super fun video! Look forward to more.
Tommy got some great banter lmfao
Awesome you had Tommy on. He's been one of my top 2 bowlers of all time besides PB3.
Love PB3
Hi. Been watching the channel for about a month now. Are you originally from Massachusetts? If not, why a fan of Boston teams?
I've been watching for a couple years and I picked up bowling about 6 months ago I'm decent I suppose lol but definitely gonna be using this advice!!! Keep up the amazing videos
Will keep ‘em coming! Thanks for tuning in Jared!
Awesome video!
This was a great show tonight
Thanks Tommy....I wasn't sure if Packy was a Boston sports fan....Connecticut could mean NY or Boston....but now I know. Cool that you're a Boston fan Packy! Says this guy from just east of Boston, but not East Boston.
bowl for the love not the money 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
i love these videos so ik for sure i would love a "the house bowling podcast"
Packys gonna culminate skills and advice from all of the hall of famers and become the next legend. Thats some stuff straight out of a movie.
Would love to become one! Just trying to soak it all in while i can!!
Tommy's 300 at the Hall of Fame was absolutely one of the top moments in the history of televised bowling. A perfect storm of happiness.
Great Video!
Thank you, Tommy and Packy. I hate slow bowlers. It was awesome to meet you Friday, Packy.
You put out a lot of good content but these are quickly becoming your best ones. Too bad Norm won't roll 'em anymore, because he would have been a great subject. Chris Barnes probably needs to be featured here more than anyone else I can think of who is still bowling. Parker Bohn would be another good one. Walter if you can get him. Stu Williams is always entertaining. But I'd also like to see some of the younger guys to get their perspective in the newer era. Kris Prather is really good in Q&A formats while he bowls. E.J. would be good to hear from. Bill O'Neill as well.
that "End of the basketball, hockey season" question freaking hurt mannnnnnnnnn
It's funny that every time when Packy threw his pad on Tommy's towel, Tommy removes it immediately. lol
More of these videos please
Who would you want to see on the next one?
All the tech, 2 handed RPMs, house shot…. Packy leaves a 5 for the interrogation
"You guys can watch videos, you guys are gonna learn a lot, watching me and packy throw shots. I didn't have that"
Being able to learn from these pros first hand is such a privilege.
I just love being able to connect with the fans and bring them along the professional journey!
Cool video talk tech bowling bowling ball packy
Great insights! Tommy is a stitch!
Tommy Jones is one of my favorite PBA bowlers
Packy, some people might say you don seem to take it seriously enough? Personally, I like watching you because of it!
How are you doing? I have a question about my bowling game. When I go to release the bowling ball my hand always goes behind my right leg and I cannot find the pocket on the lane. What should I do?
Do this with other PBA players as well. Good content.
A 5 pin? From a two-hander? Packy, how much does that green ball weigh? 13lbs.? Anyway, this might be THE BEST video you've ever done, and here's why. First, Tommy is one of the 'connectors' between "Billy Welu" bowlers, (Carter, Weber, all the St. Louis bowlers), and the modern, Earl thru Roth, and onto Norm and beyond to today's you-tubers bowlers, (of which, obviously, you are a part.) because HIS game took ALL of the past and powered the piss-out-of-it in a way that matched the growth in the technical changes in the game. This video is VERY insightful, so people pay attention, Tommy knows what he's talking about. And that 15 to 20 range I think is pretty much correct. I hope he's enjoying himself and his family these days. Kudos to you Mr. Jones well done, and Packy keep it up. Real good stuff, but get a ball that will carry a 5 pin, eh, beauty.
Tommy Jones is my all time favorite bowler, this video made me feel like a kid in a candy shop lol
I love that!!
Maybe bring on Billy O, Pete Weber, Wes Mallot, Sean Rash, Walter Ray
These could be good ones for sure!
Excellent video
Tommy is one of the best. Honestly though there is nothing in his game that is pretty until the ball hits the pocket. His aproach reminds me of a big crane or other big winged bird taking flight. Ugly, yes. But it works great for TJ. This was one of your best videos. Q &A was great. I thought for sure you'd have him throw 2 more shots for a 300!! Maybe next time. You should do more of these. Thanks, Packy.
