for those wondering the total dark crystal obtainable from one time rewards is: 33,330 which is 222 pulls for the red nuclei, if you play the game for a year and saved you can expect over 460 pulls at least, that's for the limited banners cause you don't wanna use dark crystal for anything else

If you hate pvp and will avoid it entirely reduce 700 (since just do it once for 100 dc) from 1v1 and reduce another 300 (800/3 per month rounded down) from br. Honestly most players won't get to the highest rank you should've just include the lowest dc one can get from those pvp contents instead of the highest

We actually get less DC in Break from destiny in global…it’s 800dc at maximum and 250 for bronze
Not quite generous considering that 24 pulls on a banner that has a 80 pull pity means you will have to farm 3,5 months for future banners and never current ones

This is also only counting the renewable sources though, and not one time events. I think that's an important thing to remember. If you only count the renewable sources on other gacha games as well, I believe this game does come out as pretty generous in comparison.
But if you're unlucky and lose the 50/50 at 80 pull pity, you need 40 more pulls to buy the limited ssr

Let’s say, ~30 pulls per month from just generalised playing, that’s still 4 months for a guaranteed banner character and most people suggest starring them up. It’s a little scary.
Yes it's a little scary but if you manage to get the limited then you buy there dupes from standard shop after they come in standard banner after some months

we'll figure out the amount global players can get once we've been a month into the game, remember this is assuming that the amounts are unchanged, of dark crystals are unchanged, global could have more or less dark crystals than CN, for dolphins and whales these amounts don't really matter tho lol
@@Hhhh22222-w for dolphins is still does matter because dolphins aren't big spenders. battle pass players fall under the dolphin catagory so it literally does matter.
As a member of a small friend group crew that thus can't get any meaningful activity rewards and who loathes PvP with a burning passion it sounds like about 2k a month is what I should expect, passively.

I think battle pass and monthly pass is a compulsory in this game. Just like genshin. There is no way u can get any extra BC other than that. The amt of free BC u can get again is way too little for pulls. In genshin without buying BP and Welkin i am struggling so hard to even pull, so for this game I think it is somewhat similar. Its not that expensive to invest 17 bucks per month getting the BP and monthly pass, just go work a part time for 3 hrs u can have it.
as a f2p i think the only thing i would spend money on, its the Battle Pass cos all the things it gives you, from upgrading materials up to yellow cores. And its not rng based like the pulls.

You'll have enough for Saki, don't worry, you just need enough for 120 (if you wanna get her in her first banner and not her rerun) then you can get her copies once she's added to standard banner.

If you are not a fan of PVP things(include BR) maximum you can get is about 2600 dark crystals per month.

I finally got my first SSR from black nucleus pulls (it was a bow dupe) after what felt like throwing like more than 200 nucleus into the void, but finally I got lucky. Now I don't pull anymore and just let them stack up.

I've spent 160 red nuclei so far, in the hopes that I'd get Frigg at 1 of the 2 50% pities.
I didn't, and I've had the most fun using Shiro, so I probably messed up and should have saved for Claudia instead. I guess I'll hope for more Shiro and any Coco dupes and enjoy my healer team in multiplayer, and use my ice balanced team in solo play. IDK if I should spend for Saki or Lyra or if it's possible to get both and Lin, if I stick to 110 or less per banner.

My dude, how many grand marshal and commanders do you think we have here? The majority hit the minimum for those categories. You should’ve done a minimum crystals for average players to compare with the busted maximum crystals earned for try hards you just did. Thanks for the video tho, at least now I have some idea.

I don't see how that is generous considering you need about 110 pulls to guarantee 1 limited character (at least 10 less than 120 because you get extra red gold pull currency if you get 4 star dupes your have already maxed).

People here are doing some future math giving u yearly accumulation of crystals when what u really want to know is how much u can accumulate between each limited banner, and if that is enough to get each limited banner if not how much money u need to spend to get them or if u are gonna skip a limited banner because u dont have enough currency to hit pity.
For F2P
- Minimum 20 pulls/month
- Maximum 60 pulls/month (I wouldn't bet on it tho, you have to be extremely active)
- As F2P, you can get at least 4 limited SSR/year assuming you have to hit 120 guarantee each time (keep in mind you only need 3 characters in a team).
For low spender, to get each limited banner character you're looking at $150 or less, depending on how lucky you are ((using me as an example with the free dark crystals we get in the first month (50 pulls) + monthly pass I spent $20 (80 pulls) to guarantee Nemesis in her first rerun, then within a year of saving (240 pulls) I'll have enough for Tian Lang and Lin when they release)), and then there are reruns so it isn't difficult at all.
There are 9 upcoming confirmed characters, 11 if we include Bai and Marc, but we don't think they're coming to global

Genshin is nice to me . Win 3 50/50 in a row and im a f2p haha. Tof is p2w and stingy tho even tho i have Meryl,King,Huma and Samir(ssr selector) Genshin is better but this game is good change of pace waiting for sumeru
Genshin is actually better, for what chinese players are saying we get 1 limited ssr each 4 banners. Genshin gives you one limited each 3 banners as average.
Tof just give more standard cons.
@@pontoancora Actually genshin lets us try 50/50 every 1.5 banners and doesnt punish us for losing it. The guaranteed limited character after losing 50/50 is what lets us try our luck on 50/50. But this game makes sure we must reach 120 pulls before pulling as losing 50/50 will mean no limited character guarantee even on next banner. So for f2p, its obvious that any limited char is better than no limited char and it forces us to only pull once every 3 months only after we get the guarantee. Whereas in genshin, people who play regularly pull a 5 star every 1.5 month and the ones who win all the 50/50s will literally have double the number of 5 stars that tof gives and its actually possible for f2p. Also, powercreep in genshin isnt very prominent. People can clear abyss with any limited 5 star.
@@sayanbose4931 Yeah, totally agree. We can easily get almost all characters they launch each year. Of course, new players need much more luck to get old chars. But isnt hard to keep the pace of 9 new limited each year.
in ToF you only need 1 copy of the limited banner, since you can buy the rest when they get added to the standard banner using gold tokens, you can C6 your limited SSR in less than a year
$20 worth of dark crystal monthly pass (80) + 1 month of dark crystal farming and all one time dark crystals resources (50) + free red nucleus from Devs (10) = 130 summons (guarantee)
Imagine spending $20 to C6 a five star in Genshin, in Genshin you need to spend around $100 even with the free primogems we get monthly to C6 a five star within a year, and that's assuming you don't lose most of your 50/50
I can actually confidently say that you can get over 20k xtals IF you do 100% on all maps in ur first month (inlcuding those who r locked and will be unlocked later on) because I managed to get nemesis on hard pity (80 pulls = 12k crystals) and this is just my first week playing. I have over 1k xtals left rn and I only managed to do 90% on 2 regions and the rest are either 30%-40% complete. :>>
80 is soft pity (50/50 chance for nemesis) the real pity is 120 when you can buy her from the shop

SSR rates are like 3~2%, it’s pretty standard to get more than 1 SSR per hard pity.

It is true that they are generous with dark crystals but holy….. I spent 2 regions worth of black crystals on the summer event which equates to 9600 dark crystals just to finally pull the 2 cosmetics. I never really enjoyed having to basically RNG my way to unlocking skins similarly to Smites dropping actual good skins in chests that give you like a 1/40 chance of getting the skin you want while spending $4 each time hoping to get the skin you want. I know that the outfits are optional but the fact that I spend 9600 dark crystals for decent rewards until I got the actual skins, it’s still mind boggling that even if you had spent $100 topping up (if you don’t have first time purchase bonus) you wouldn’t even be able to 100% the summer event with $100.
That is on you dude. The cosmetic one is the WORST gacha to spent ur BC on. It brings no progress to the game and its just cosmetics to make urself look nice. So it is on you, pretty sure alot of people alr warned not to pull for the cosmetics if u are f2p or light spender
It is not very generous, it is ridiculous to say this, it is still toxic and abusive monetization, pulls should cost around 5-10 cents with current % and free rewards

I quit a few months after anniversary around the underground sankanomiya but I don’t recall EVERY patch giving 10k, maybe recent ones, or maybe I just never searched hard enough. This is literally just renewable dark crystals. You get a ton from just playing the game. This excludes events/exploring/maintenance and codes. Genshin gives about the same if you take out events and stuff. 60 per day from commissions. 600 from 2 week abyss if you can even beat it. Probably like 20-40 from character trials. 60-120 from hangouts. So every month is basically 3000-3180. You basically get the same amount as a person who barely grinds tower of fantasy per month just on renewable currency.

I think it's really straightforward. The portrayal of mmo in anime (like sao where kirito can solo farm boss, apparently) isn't really accurate unless you whaled for getting gears and stuffs
