76ers are one of the big market teams. Networks force presenters to push them.
This was Embiid's best season before the injury and there's always a chance he finally figures out playoff basketball. Plus Maxey's taken a huge leap. Plus no Harden. So there's a chance things actually do click for Philly, whether it will or not remains to be seen.
People forget they had doc, Ben Simmons , and James harden all disasters for the past couple years. Also embiid is a top 5 player and they consistently win

If Giannis somehow comes back healthy for that 1st round like he did against the Suns in the Finals, then Philly probably won't beat them. Giannis is 10-6 against Embiid all time. In those 16 games, Giannis has averaged 32ppg, 16reb, 6ast, 2blks, 1stl, on 54% FG%. Whereas Embiid averaged 27ppg, 11reb, 6ast, 1blk, 1stl, on a terrible 43% FG%, that's a super bad FG% for an Allstar Center. Even if Giannis doesn't come back in time for the 1st round, I'd give Philly the edge but I think it's still a tough series, Milwaukee just has a better all-around team imo. I don't think it'll be as easy as Chuck thinks. Plus, it's hard to trust Playoff Embiid, especially since he just got back from injury, it's tough to think that a guy who only played 38 games this year will come lead his team to some Playoff series wins, or a chip. Gotta question his conditioning, it's not like you can come back after being out 3 months, & still be in top form, if he was out only a few weeks, then yeah. Sucks he was out so long though, he might've been MVP again.
the bucks just matchup really well against the sixers, having both giannis and brook lopez to guard embiid makes it easier for them than any other team (except the celtics). but since theres no jrue holiday, maxey might go crazy on dame and make it a series. this coming from a sixers fan. we're taking the bucks out this year with or without giannis.

Bucks have no easy matchup. Heat could be slight favorites to beat them. Sixers have a chance to beat them in the best of 7. I don’t see the Bulls or Hawks beating them in best of 7 but they can take the Bucks to 6 or 7 if Bucks play ‘mid’
It really all comes down to two things Health and the refs whistle. If they let the teams play some players will fade since they rely a lot on free throws to get points and health affects literally all 10 teams to a degree some clearly more than others like Knicks, Cavs, 76ers, Heat, Hawks and Bucks. Hawks beat Celtics twice without Young so they could do some damage on the road. Giannis is the biggest question mark in the East even more than Embiid but track record favors Giannis in that regard. Celtics are healthy, which concerns me cause every team deals with injuries, which makes them better. Porzingis has been pretty healthy, so we will see if that lasts.
I think out of the bunch of potential teams the Bucks could face in the first round, Bulls are the most inconsistent. Sometimes they play to a level to where they can put some fear into the Bucks but they could also play like if they left their A-game in the locker room or if they really dont belong there with Milwaukee. Hawks have more playoff experience and I think play more aggressively than the Bulls. The only question I have is how much are they or can they adjust to a play style that will really give the Bucks trouble. With the Sixers, will Embiid be good to go? And Miami will of course be the toughest challenge for the Bucks.

Besides Boston, nobody has stood out in the top 8 teams of the east. I don't get the hype around Philly. The Bucks were just in a meaningful game against Orlando. They won, easily, without Gannis. Playoff Dame should be strong enough to lead until Gannis return. Bobby and Bev will be key factors for defense. If Milwaukee can get some defensive schemes, shoot well, and MAINTAIN LEADS, they will advance to the 2nd round with or without Gannis.

Seems like Shaq never likes the Knicks. Barkley isn't as biased and I can see why he thinks the Pacers will win (as a Knicks fan). Pacers play quicker and have great perimeter shooting which the Knicks have shown some trouble defending in the regular season. Ernie is neutral as well.
