- As we arrived at The UFC Apex on Wednesday morning we noticed Nelly standing out on the side of the road holding her sign in 104-degree weather. When we left the UFC Apex center, Ms. Nelly was Still out front waiting for Khabib. Unfortunately, Khabib had other obligations this morning and was not with Islam and the team. Carlos, (@frujuiceathletics) told Nelly that he would have Khabib personally sign some items and deliver them back to her ASAP.
Carlos and I made the hour-round trip to meet Khabib and have him sign Nellys items and headed back to meet her.
After leaving Nelly, others noticed and she spread like wild fire over social media.

I'm sure that Dana didn't expect this to become a whole viral sensation, he was just doing what anyone else would do in his position... You’ll hardly ever see this type of hospitality from western ppl at a low level never mind guys who are in the UFC and at the top. Difference is morals and humility as which are deeply rooted in their faith. As soon as u see someone else do half of what these guys do everyone starts calling them humble. But when Khabib was so humble coming up the ranks, no one even flinched. But in the end like it or not the cream rises to the top and he showed everyone including those bigots who hated him.

There are countless people in the West who do plenty for poor people, even if they are rich and famous, like Dustin Poirier for example who gave ticket to that boy with cancer his previous fight and gave him shout out during post fight interview. You could perhaps though make a general point about how theistic people in general will tend to be more humble than atheists. You can sometimes sense this from their overal demeanour...
